The economic lessons learned at the beginning of the Depression were learned well - although almost no one in the general population has any idea what actually is going on here, the Feds do know, economists do know, and won't make the same mistakes again.

Hi all been bk on my meds effexor (venlafaxine) 3 weeks today and feeling on top of the world just for those people out there that are just starting out on meds please stick at them coz its worth it in the end when you start to feel normal again. Iv never had to have therapy because i have gotten myself through depression and anxiety symptoms by reading through post on here and taking my meds. just thought i'd post a positive story.

It needs to be addressed in this country and just think of the ones who are walking around and dont even know they have it or cant get treatment. Here we are the greatest country in the world and we dont die from war we are dying from disease . What does that tell you? This is the number one leading killer in the USA and that worries me. We all have younger loved ones who are coming up in this world and just what are they going to be fighting??

Oh yes my granfather and his brother and many more of my male realitives were in world war i also i have heard many storys none were happy ones had uncles that served in world war 2 such a terrible war there were many battle scars and some were not seen they were on the inside, we never know just what goes on over there i remember lots of the ole songs that were out and also a poem about the big guys playing their game of chess and many more died .

As a retired military man I have seen many Marines and Soldiers develop very close friendships. When in the military, we are always taught that you leave no man behind. We are also taught that everyman in the military is your responsibility. I think 2 of the most common causes of relapse are depression and lack of energy. Too many times people are under the impression that after the 7-10 days of withdrawal that they will be good as new (some lucky people are). I just wanted to post this for people just starting this journey. I think if people are made aware that it takes time, they will cut themselves some slack. Be patient with yourself. Energy can be very slow in returning, sometimes a few months.

You really DESERVE to feel good! I'm so happy for you. You really give hope to so many people (like me!) It's great to see someone like you make it through all this stuff!

ativan works great while you have it, as soon as i run out i get severe anxiety. What can i do to avoid this? Other than not run out lol. I dont want to be on this medication for the rest of my life also.
