gabapentin zoloft

You mean for a total of 600 Mg of Zoloft, 450 Mg Effexor and 900 Mg of Gabapentin each day? If so you better talk to your doctor about this dosing. 250 mg of Zoloft (per day) is about the Max and 350 Mg of Effexor per day is about max also. Not sure on the other drug. Either way those dosages sound high to me.

I have rapid cycling bipolar as well as post traumatic stress disorder. He has me on Xanax for anxiety, Zoloft and Neurontin for mood stabilizer. Can anyone tell me what they think of Neurontin and if it words? I am very intrigued to know if I am on a good medicine or if this isn't good. I don't go back to him for 3 weeks.

I was on Zoloft for 15 years and I stopped for two years in the past year I've been taking buspirone 10 mg and gabapentin 300 mg twice a day it wasn't working very well so I got on trintellix 10 mg for 3 weeks causes serious anxiety,OCD and lethargy and depression. I want to get back on the Zoloft I'm still taking the buspirone in the Gabapentin but it's been 3 days since I've taken the trintellix what do I do? Taper ? Switch?

What should or could happen to someone who is taking Abilify 5mg 1X a day, Zoloft 50mg 1X a day, Gabapentin 200mg 3X a day.

I have never taken gabapentin. What is it that you don't like about it? There are other medications for sleep that you could try. I take klonopin for sleep but that is habit forming and I'm certain after all these years I'm hooked on it so I'm not advocating this drug in particular but just saying there may be other medications for sleep that may work better for you.

I take 100 mg zoloft 100mg gabapentin and .05 mg klonopin and I have tried many other meds for my depression and anxiety. but they don't help and i am sick of trying new ones. i have lost all hope that anything can help me. so how bad is it to just stop taking them?

Welcome to the forum....sorry to hear you are having anxiety issues... Having been on gabapentin myself....coming off of it for 2 yrs...and then taking it again.....this post caught my eye. While it's surely a possibility that the way you are feeling is due to your own body chemistry and it's own personal reaction to gabapentin....I've never heard of anything like what you are describing. Gabapentin is not an addictive drug....it doesn't cause drug seeking behavior.....

I was started on Zoloft 5 weeks ago at 50 mg and was doing great at week 4 - at that time Zoloft was increased to 75 mg and I have been taking that dose for 7 days and I feel agitated and anxious. I am not sure how long I should give the dose increase side effects to go away or just go back to taking 50 mg, I was doing very well on 50 mg. I called my mental health facility but there is not a nurse there today.

I was having extreme anxiety and very bad withdrawals from quitting gabapentin cold turkey. I resumed taking gabapentin yesterday and now today find myself very depressed. I quit it cold turkey because I felt it was causing me depression and mood instability. It is messing with my moods terribly now resuming it. I am very down and feel so disconnected from myself. Do not want to live like this. I know I will never quit it cold turkey again but feel this is not the medicine for me still.

Well, it's been a long while since I posted - my anxiety battle has been mostly upswings lately. The last few weeks have been tough, though, especially the last week. Let's just say that my family ***** the very life out of me. Bleh. The last several days, the anxiety has been higher than in the last year. I'm currently on 125mg of Zoloft, slowly but surely titrating off Xanax (currently on 0.175mg PM, 0.375mg AM), and 100mg gabapentin PRN.

xanax is good. there is one option you can discuss with your pdoc, it's gabapentin (neurontin) it's very good for anxiety and is a mood stabilizer. my pdoc doesn't want it for me i don't know why, he said neurologists rather than psychiatrist who precribe it. but i read it's effective for anxiety.

All sorts of blood tests , many different meds ,Gabapentin , Zoloft , Meclyzine etc. . I have tried all sorts of meds for insomnia also . Gabapentine 300mg has helped me sleep but I am wasted for the whole day . Please help me .

I was told to downgrade to a 5 mg celexa which has not been a big help either. I have been to a urologist lately who has put me on 25 mg ZOLOFT and prescribed me levitra to pump up my sex drive... I am wondering is all this necessary?? I went from no ED to ED and from no pills to taking 2 pills (zoloft and levitra) and feeling very different as I don't get rapid erections during intercourse. Can this all go away and can I be myself if I stop these pills.

I am very medicine sensative so new meds are always an issue. I have tried Lexapro,Cymbalta and most recently Zoloft and the Zoloft gave me a very upset stomach and did not get better after 9 weeks so that was stopped. I am getting very discouraged with this medicine problem. I am thinking about asking her about trying Paxil next. Do you have an opinion on this medication? Or what else would you recommend? I have also been on Elavil which caused a great deal of issues.

I also take 30mg oxycontin, 2 endone(oxycodone hydrochloride, 30mg mirtazapine and 10mg zoloft. I am also on Gabapentin, 600mg X 3, daily for phantom limb pain due to amputation of right leg. Jan 7, 2014 my psychiatrist switched me from 60mg Cymbalta to 100mg Zoloft. The switch was made bc I felt after 5 yrs, the Cymbalta might be pooping out. The first week I took 30mg Cymbalta with 50mg Zoloft. After that week, I stopped Cymbalta and went to 100mg Zoloft. It's now a little over 4 weeks since the switch and I'm having panic attacks like I haven't had in years & also that disassociation feeling that goes along w/anxiety & depression.

I have had to doctors tell me it is not addictive. I coul not take it, it made me sick. Talk to your doc.about it they should be able to tell you. Sometimes it is hard to trust what they are saying when it comes to drugs tho, at least that has been my experience. I try to research everything before I take it. I trust a pharmacist more than the doc. After all that is there speciality.

You say you only took Paxil for 7 days? Is that right? You don't say how long you took the gabapentin or the Zoloft. If you only took them a short time, and if you only took Paxil 7 days, then it's unlikely you're suffering withdrawal, though it's possible. If you were on the Zoloft for any length of time, it could be withdrawal from the Zoloft. You can also get withdrawal from quitting gabapentin abruptly. You need to slowly taper up on these drugs and slowly taper off.

Hello, I am new to this group. I have had more than 85 blood tests since I was diagnosed with Lyme in July of 2014. All have been negative. I have been on may drugs for pain and currently on Gabapentin for vocal cord/coughing issues and leg pain (knee, calf, left side back). I don't think it is helping much. Is anyone else on Gabapentin?

Because I seem to be responding better to this latter drug, I am now slowly weaning off the gabapentin. I guess if the pain increases as I go off the gabapentin, this will tell me it was helping more than I realized. I have no side effects from the gabapentin, even at such a high dose. I do find the 50mg amitriptyline makes me very drowsy, and may need to scale it back to 40mg if this side effect continues.

Has anyone expierence swelling of the face with gabapentin? I know it can be a side effect. My question is; Is this an allergic reaction or is the dosage too much? Actually my face feels stiff at times and cheeks get sore. If it is the gabapentin, what would be the alternative? Thank you med help family........

Has anyone else taken Gabapentin for all of these pains neuralgia migraines? I'm petrified to take this drug because of all the bad side affects! Did it help or harm anyone? Or should I wait to see the NS first before I take it?

I had an episode of burning on my forhead and cheeks and pins and needle feelings in which I started Gabapentin for. Over a 4 week period I gradually increased the dosage to what I am on now, 300mg three times daily. This seems to help greatly with the nerve pain but I started after 2 weeks to develop a very itchy neck, ear lobe, and face. My face sometimes looked like it was burned. Im just wondering if anyone has had this while taking Gabapentin.

I took gabapentin from... around august 2017 to... february 2018.. and then i started to take it again around september to october.. never experienced what you are describing.
