I take florenef to raise my blood pressure. I have have no symptoms related to my bradycardia . My primary care doctor took an EKG and said it is a concern if I have a resting heart rate of 38 while at the office. She told me if I were sleeping it would be exceptable. My cardiologist said I would eventually need a pace maker but if I'm not symptomatic I should not worry. My question is should I worry? Is there a danger? What should I do?
For about one month I have noticed that while lying on my left side (I'm a side sleeper) my heart rate drops from normal 60-70 to the thirties. No associated symptoms of pain or sob. I can feel the drop within my chest. Turning to my back or right side resolves the bradycardia. I'm sure I sleep on my left side during sleep and I'm still alive. Nocturnal bradycardia is normal during sleep. Bradycardia in this range is only a problem if associated with sympotms of lightheadedness, dizziness, passing out or nearly passing out.

hi guys. i wasnt feeling well,so i went to urgent care and they gave me a 12 lead ekg. i got a copy of it. my rate was 38 bpm and the printout said "marked sinus bradycardia". can anyone tell me what that means? also,is T-Wave inversion in lead iii normal?
Hello, I am new to this group. I have had more than 85 blood tests since I was diagnosed with Lyme in July of 2014. All have been negative. I have been on may drugs for pain and currently on Gabapentin for vocal cord/coughing issues and leg pain (knee, calf, left side back). I don't think it is helping much. Is anyone else on Gabapentin?
Has anyone expierence swelling of the face with gabapentin? I know it can be a side effect. My question is; Is this an allergic reaction or is the dosage too much? Actually my face feels stiff at times and cheeks get sore. If it is the gabapentin, what would be the alternative? Thank you med help family........
