Avatar m tn so i am joined in gym. to reduce my weight I am just doing the aerobics in the gym and small exercies to the stomach like crunchers. Now i am feeling very tierd all the day and my stomach mucles are troubling me lot of pain., and my diet everyday i am taking glass of lime water mixed with honeyin the early morning before going to gym..is it good? and i am taking low amount of breakfast with protein powder drink( mixing the powder with milk). and afternoon lunch is rise and leafy vegitables.
Avatar f tn Fluids are easier to ingest after a vigorous workout than solid food and can be easily carried in a gym bag. Carbohydrate sports recovery drinks are available in powder form and pre-mixed liquids. Drinking a glass of fruit juice is another carbohydrate drink that is absorbed quickly and easily digested. Carbohydrate-Protein Drinks Adding protein to your carbohydrate recovery drink can speed recovery time while helping to rebuild damaged muscle tissue. John M.
Avatar f tn Still going to the gym? What you doing? I'm 21 weeks, been mostly walking, eleptical, and biking.
Avatar n tn i'm 21yrs, 6'4",200pds, look very atheletic but l have a severe fitness issue. l got of skills and love playing sports but the problem is anytime l'm normally agressive l get tired within 5 mins, it shocks everyone and looks rediculous sometimes. lt like there would be this burning in my body. produce soo much heat, l'll be sweating and it feels like l dont have any energy left. lf l try to go on, it looks like lm about to faint.
Avatar f tn Hi, i have begun back in a gym after years of a lot of working and poor eating habits. Ive dropped all the garbage and am back on track. I go 5-6 days a week and prefer weight training. I do upper body and lower body on seperate days with rest in between and 30-45 min cardio after weights. How many reps can i do at most? I vary my weights and change it up often but i want the absolute most out of every day. Three doesn't seem like enough, and ive been doing 6-8 reps, gradually going heavier.
Avatar f tn i am a stay at home mom and work part time from home but for some reason i'm really worried about this. i want to know if anyone has suggestions for fitness that might benefit me and everyone else on here. i'm not really into yoga. i'm kinda one of those that has to feel the pain and probably torture myself so much that i don't excercise much for that reason. i don't want to overdo it though. thanks for the suggestions!
Avatar m tn I've tried staying fit during the last 10yrs at my local gym. However, every single time I work-out or do ANYthing strenuous(whether I'm working-out or not) I SWEAT SO MUCH that I feel over exerted as if I may faint! So much sweat pours from my body & face during my work-outs AND during times I absolutely shouldn't be sweating. All the sweat is so apparent that others feel it's necessary to ask me if I'm okay, which in turn leaves me feeling self-conscioius about TWO things now...
1285110 tn?1420150978 So I thought I would challenge myself every day to do somethng I have not done before that is in my home, soomething that does not cost anything to do, but will increase my fitness which is currently pretty poor to be honest, and burn calories. So todays challenge is to walk up and down stairs as many times as I can in 2 minutes......1 circuit is up and back down.... I have 14 steps. (I was going to say 10 but I found that impossible lol) Anyone going to join me on this challenge?
649848 tn?1534637300 Hey everyone - I miss seeing the posts that tell what everyone's been doing for exercise (or did I just not see them somewhere else?). I find myself not being accountable for what I haven't been doing and seeing what everyone else is doing helps. I've been spending so much time in doctor offices, testing laboratories, x-ray rooms, etc and not getting to the exercises.
560748 tn?1226868117 today as I have heard that there is now a scheme that allows some patients to have fitness on prescription. This, apparently allows the lucky person to go to the public swimming baths for as little as £1 per session, or so I am led to believe. Also, it allows them to use the gym facilities with a qualified instructer to give guidelines on how to use the apparatus.
1444838 tn?1456174552 today was my first day back, & I enjoyed going back . had my consultation today & I haven't put any weight on since last time my gym Instructor weighed me in May 2010, which I thought was good has I feel like I have put weight on. my Instructor is going to weigh me every 2weeks to see how I'm getting on.
8566467 tn?1398746415 Yesterday on my day 2 i went to the gym and did 4 miles on the treadmill, 50 squats, and 20 minutes in the sauna, came home washed clothes, cleaned, and organized. when i got out the shower i felt pooped but couldnt quite relax bc my legs STILL felt restless! uggghhh! So i asked my fiance to massage my calves with my stress relief lotion and i guess i fell right to sleep bc next thing i know its 5 am (it was about 1030pm when he started massaging) and everything in the room was dark. lol.
121828 tn?1333468091 DD is at school so I thought I could handle dropping off 1 child for 20 minutes while I did a quick 1/2 mi swim training for my upcoming triathlon. DH is out of town on and off for the next 6 weeks so I have to test it out if I'm still going to train while he's gone. I dropped him off and she said "we will come get you if he cries too much." I told her, he won't cry and I'll only be gone for 20min swimming.
Avatar f tn do any of you go to the gym and use the walker? Do they allow that? It would be planet fitness... i just though of it... has any of you gone at the third trimester?
Avatar n tn : I recently had a fitness evaluation done at a gym. Part of the test involved a 3 minute step test. At the end of 3 minutes of stepping, then they had you rest a minute, then took your pulse for a full minute. My resting pulse was 92 bpm. My recovery pulse after the test (after a minute rest) was 152 bpm. When I went back for the computerized results...
1829282 tn?1325595258 Hi everyone!! I recently lost about 10 lbs after going to the gym about 5x a week and working out 1-2hrs each time and doing 30 personal training 2x a month. I stopped going after personal training sessions were up an with the holidays gained that 10 back. I went back to the gym yesterday despite trying to talk myself out of it.. (too tired, stomach hurts, low on gas) so I'm proud of that!

Avatar m tn Okay, apart from my diet, the most exercise I do at home is walking up the stairs.. It's not ideal I know. We don't have any gym equipment at all.. not even weights. I do exercise at school though, on the days i have P.E. On my timetable for Week 1, I have P.E once. Then on Week 2, I have P.E three times in a row. That's it.
1382697 tn?1279295935 I have been working out at LA Fitness for exactly one month now. I am 5'4" and I started out at 147lbs. Today I am 148.8....CRAP!!!!!! I go to the gym no less than 5 times a week. I do weight training with a certified trainer 2x a week for 30 min each time. After each session, I do no less than 30 min of cardio per his instructions.
Avatar f tn Due to new job and working 10 hours a day I still haven't found time to join a gym. I know that would help tremendously. Is there anything else I can do ?! Anyone please feel free to comment.

717842 tn?1447014295 I am a very healthy guy otherwise, don't drink alcohol at ALL, never smoked in my life, don't do any other drugs, etc. and fitness is one of my loves besides being a professional musician, so I really would just love to get back to what I love and out of this miserable existence. I feel like I want to just get on my elliptical and "burn it off" as if that would be possible, I know it's not, but will forcing myself to do some hard core cardio help at all?
Avatar m tn it hurts to even do the math and say the number. Anyhow this is day 1. so far so good. I was also a 2 pot a day coffee drinker so far, i've had some OJ and an RC cola. I feel pretty good. Truth is...my life ***** for so many reasons. This is the worse its ever been. But...i suppose if i wait for times to be perfect...i'll never quit. Anyhow...i'd appreciate any support you guys can muster. At the moment I'm optimistic. I feel good so far.
5154342 tn?1370274567 1) I'm the only one on ION-1 on this thread maybe cos these trials have just begun in the UK for G1 tx-naive individuals with no ION-2 and 3 yet. Trials for Tx-exp G2 & 3 started in the UK around 8 months ago with SOF w/wo RIBA, 12 or 24 weeks. 2) Side effects rationale: I was told at the start of the trial that there weren't any.
Avatar f tn Hi there. I have a 1 year old at home. We just bought a house, so can't do a gym membership for a while. Need suggestions of exercises to do at home to keep an eye on the little man. We already go out in the jogging stroller, but I need more than cardio. Suggestions?
Avatar m tn When I am sitting around the house my pulse is usually 64-72. I just went for a 1 hour bike ride at the gym. One hour AFTER the ride has finished my heart rate is now 90. Is this normal? So basically I have had 1 hour of rest and then took my heart rate and found it to be 90.
