It would be fun to have some group sessions. I currently work out 5 times per week and my schedule is pretty flexible.

When I got pregnant I changed my routine for a more "pregnant - friendly" one, like walking, aqua gym... Then I just stopped all workout. Not only I felt terrible the last weeks pregnant but I also gained lot more weight and now it's just so hard to go back to being active...

I had a scare last year with a tentative finding of pulmonary hypertension, which has yet not been proved nor ruled out. However, since losing all the weight, I'm no longer having shortness of breath when I exercise. Anyway, I can't seem to increase my endurance on the elliptical. 20 min is the most I can do, and I'm dying after that.

Avatar f tn Congratulations! That sure is a fun birthday present. Just stay busy. My best advice---- keep exercising. I stopped with my first baby during my first trimester. I was silly and thought I was so fragile, lol. I worked my whole pregnancy but didn't go tot he gym anymore. It was harder to take the baby weight off after that and I didn't feel as good during my next pregnancy when I exercised throughout. And baby weight came off easier.

I haven't go to the gym because the gym is at my college and I'm working so I really haven't make some time to workout. I walk about 30 minutes like 3 to 4 days a week but I have been sick so I haven't really do any other workout.

Because they give you that one on one time with a fitness trainer and they help you figure out a plan for exercising and dieting that fits you and your goals. I need that badly.. one on one time and advice from a specialist lol. Our local gym also has TONS of classes.. Like pilattes, yoga, self defense, and tons of others.. They also have a court to play basketball and a pool to swim and do water aerobics.. I LOVE it there..

And Aug 9 I pushed mowed my lawn. Which felt great since I'm a single mom and had to depend on others to do it for me.. I feel great.

Personal trainers without any connection to a well-reputed gym or fitness club should be certified by a major fitness organization, such as the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) or the American Council on Exercise. Exercise videos help, but be sure they are suited to their individual age and health needs, and bear the AFAA seal. Get a dog.

Avatar n tn t seem to find a fitness instructor who seems to understand this, all they push is for me to work harder and do things I just cannot physically do. I am loosing weight just fine on a good diet and the treadmill but it's just not enough I know I need to add weights and more cardio to tighten skin and lose my belly fat but fear hurting myself. I want to improve my health the best I can any helpful safe workout plan would be wonderful!

Now that I am trying again I am a bit confused whether is good or not exercise. I like to run but I dont know if its good for fertility or even if i became pregnant and I dont know it yet. Please if anybody know anything about this matter I would appreciate any kind of advice.

Should I just tough trough it and get a gym membership? The problem is there has to be a gym that is open at 11 since that would be my only time to workout. What should I do? Should I just continue to do vigorous house work and walking the dog? Or should I just get a gym membership? Thanks I appreciate it!
