Avatar n tn I don't feel stressed and why does it come on when I exercise or do heavy work? Isn't exercise supposed to relieve stress? I don't know if I am making it worse by plowing through or if that is the best thing to do.
Avatar m tn Eat a sensible diet consisting of plenty of fresh/frozen fruits and veggies, protein, whole grains and low/no fat dairy. Walking is always a good exercise - 30 minutes/day, but if you aren't used to it, try just 10 minutes and work up. There are also plenty of free videos that you can watch online. YouTube has some and so does spark people. Or do a search for "free exercise videos".

And always warm up and stretch your muscles before exercise, cool down and stretch those same muscles when finished. Hope this helps.

Not sure if you can download them, but you can certainly watch/do them online. You might also find online videos of Pilates or other forms of exercise. Walking is always an excellent form of exercise.
Avatar n tn Why not do a search for videos of exercises that will help define the rear? There are a lot of exercises that you can watch online to learn how to do and they are free. There are also dvds that you can purchase from most major stores that aren't too expensive, plus you might check out your local library and see what they have to loan. Once you know the routine, you don't necessarily need the video - you can use your own music if you like.

I tried that exercise cuz my baby was facing sunny side up, and it worKed. I hope the baby will move head down for you, I know the frustration n fear of a c section.. Best of luck to you!

Just one 30 minute (or 3 - 10 minute) walks/day will do wonders. Or simply turn on your favorite music and dance. I don't go to a gym either, but these are all things I try to incorporate into my day. My favorite exercise is yoga -- I suggest you give it a try. Again, lots of videos you can get online or from your library.

Avatar f tn Try to pick up a physical activity you enjoy. Such as walking, running or swimming. Aim for roughly 30 - 60 minutes of physical activity every day. You cant spot drop. weight comes off where it wants to but if youre looking for a flat stomach you can try some ab exercises. Theres a youtube channel called diet health where they give new exercises every week. Give it a shot. Also make sure to eat three meals and three snacks a day. Also drink plenty of water.

I would have to agree that if your are "maintaining" then cutting back should help you lose. It sounds like the boredom issue might be your biggest challenge.
Avatar f tn Elaine is right -- you don't necessarily have to go to a gym for exercise. There are a lot of videos that you can get online, or dvd's you can buy. The trick is pick things that you enjoy doing so you will stick with them. It's generally figured that exercise will actually give you more energy, rather than make you exhausted.

Maybe you could put the baby in a stroller and take a 30 minute walk each evening (if you live where it's not too cold to take the baby out); or if you can't take the baby, maybe you could get hubby to watch the kids while you walk or exercise. I'd recommend that you start with the food diary here on med help and list everything you eat over the course of your day.

Also, is anyone willing to offer ideas of supplements or prescription meds that have worked for them? I'm more than willing to put in the work of changing my lifestyle and exercise habbits, but, if there's something else that might help, I'd love to know so that I can ask either my GP or, if I go to the local clinic, I can ask them.

It honestly (for me) helped with my lack of energy and I could really tell it was breaking down the fats and move them on out. From what Dr. Gates (the doctor I ordered from) told me, they help support the liver while you're losing the weight.

Avatar m tn Welcome. Start out slowly and small changes to start with. Try replacing one soda per day with a glass of water; or one bag of chips for a few sliced carrots, etc. Replace a helping of mac & cheese with a salad. Just make one change and when you are used to that, make one more, and so on. Next thing you know, eating healthy will be second nature. Park farther from the door so you get a longer walk. Go for a walk on your lunch break.

I've read that it IS harder for women to lose weight than it is for men, but I'm sure that's not an "across the board" determination. I did try Mega-T Green Tea with Hoodia --- it did nothing for me......however, drinking a cup of "actual" green tea sweetened with Stevia, has a tendency to make me feel less hungry.......

Spark people has a lot, so does live strong and if you do a search for exercises, I'm sure you will come up with a lot of other web sites from which you can get ideas for exercises, It will help to do different things. You can also get inexpensive exercise dvd's and some cable channels have an entire exercise channel.
