Avatar f tn I'm not like other people who can do hard core exercises with intense Cardio (mostly because I have a heart condition) but I like to do more low paced activities that I can do in my living room at my own pace, I enjoy a workout with an exercise ball, stretching, and activities like planking which use lots of muscle without having to hike up my heart rate unecessarily. However, I also have to do Cardio regularly and I enjoy using a bike or elliptical.

I will then have my eliptical back and will pull out my exercise ball and mat, start using my Yamuna ball rolling, have a small TV in there and will be able to do videos (want to try Tai Chi) and attach my WII Fit to it. Can't wait! I, too, need to get out of this fitness slump. I am too quick to use my creative excuses.
1285110 tn?1420150978 Theres not to my knowledge one exercise for just the hips, because they are pretty immobile, but if you target the areas around the hips it will work just fine. For example doing butt exercises. There needs to be more butt ones invented. Since you already do squats you can try the one when you are on all fours, raising each leg one by one as high as you can while its bent into the sky, keep your foot parallel to the ground not pointed. You can also do it with your legs straight.
Avatar f tn Mary Shomon has recommended the T Tap videos. Anyone else try it? I was thinking of getting it to add to my wellness routine. I have a strong recommendation if you have the budget. The Wii Fit has helped my Hashi leg pain. I do the strength training, aerobics, balance games and Yoga. Every game seems tailored to help this restless leg thing I've got. If I go a day without the Wii Fit, I can feel it in my legs.
Avatar f tn Any excersize suggestions that don't involve equipment (I have yoga mat and one of those huge Pilate ball things - I can't remember what they're called) so those would be fine, and they can't be super loud like a lot of jumping because I'm in a upper unit in apartment. Thanks!

I even took my Hormone shot again to see if it would help..I just can not seem to get my Rear in Gear!!!!! I even have the Mindful Meditation Tapes..I am very, very confused on how down I feel sometimes..I do believe it will get better.

I work at a job where I am required to sit at least 8 hours a day and the only exercise I get is to and from the car and going to lunch. I am around 5'5 3/4 and weigh around 230-235. I feel very unhealthy and very ugly and I really need some suggestions on the best and fastest way to lose weight.

Do abdominal exercises at least two days a week, performing one to two sets of 10 to 20 repetitions of each exercise. 148588 tn?1465782409 Okay, we go to a practice of one of our kids and we grab a soccer ball or football or even just a bouncy ball for our kids that aren't in the practice but have to be there with us to entertain themselves. But when you look around, what do you see? Most of the kids are holding their parents' phones playing games or watching videos. I think there is some benefit in some apps on occasion but the electronic babysitter now extends to our phones. Ugh. I'm guilty of it sometimes too . . .
Avatar f tn your baby still has time if he/she hasn't actually wedged its bones into the birth canal. Have you tryed crawling and using a yoga ball to swirl on. I read in an old midwifery book that both of those things daily can prompt your baby to flip right. Best of luck to you.

I am very frustrated because I cannot loose the weight. The only time I lost is when they gave me Adipex and I lost 20 lbs. I am no longer on it and have gained about 5 of those pounds back. I eat healthier now than I ever did. I go through periods where I have strange cravings like hot sauce where I can just about drink it.

I also have an exercise ball I used and i went swimming yesterday. My legs have been sore from the exercise ball so I know its a good workout. What will help you the most is to understand what AD/HD is and how it effects people. Actually, that will help him a lot too. I suggest that you check out the following site. Its for adults and I think that both of you will find it very helpful. He does not have to be a slave to AD/ HD.

It is quite debilitating, actually. I never knew what it felt like to have a panic attack or not want to get out of bed in the morning because the fear is so overwhelming. Obviously, this is circumstantial due to my arrest and pending legal issues. I have an appointment today with my therapist. I plan on asking him what to do about this issue.

Those are two I can think of that will be using nonresponders if you are going to try a trial. I would look at clinicaloptions.com and read their info and watch their videos on nonresponsive patients. You have to sign up for it but it is WELL worth the effort.

While you can't get out to a gym with 3 boys, you can get them interested in a movie, and slip away to exercise for 20 minutes. Or have hubby give them a bath, and do it then. With heel spurs, I would reccommend an elliptical or a recumbent bike. Justify it to yourself this way - It is about the same $ as a membership fee and 6 months of dues, and you own it.

I am fairly certain I am not addicted to the xanax at this time and I have watched a few videos of people w/d too and OMG it was horrifying. I am going to seek a new NA meeting here in town and also begin talking to a therapist as soon as I get all the new insurance details. I am not that stupid as to think I can handle the enormous amount of stress I am under alone.
4334575 tn?1403832612 The FIRST thing you need to do is to go ahead and make that initial appointment with a mental health provider, I would personally recommend a psychiatrist, mainly because with the amount of time you've been dealing with this, you're kind of in crisis mode, which probably will mean the possibility of using a medication for symptom management. I KNOW it's frustrating to have to wait for an appointment, but unfortunately, with specialists, that's just the way it is.
