Plus there are tons of exercise videos that can get - depending on what you like. You might try out your local library to see what they have available and "test drive" a few videos before buying them. My personal favorite is yoga.

If you carry a resistance band, you can work your arms, shoulders, back all at the same time. Yoga is also good for toning, tightening.

Eat healthier, have your 3 meals and snack on healthy snacks like almonds, raw veggies, fruits, yogurt... every 2 to 3 hours to keep your metabolism up. Try keeping a food diary, I suggest using the app My Fitness Pal to track calories and exercise. Start off with easier exercise programs. Try an hour a day. Cardio will help get your heart rate up but don't over do it.

Avatar f tn Hi!!! I have a similar problem except I live out in the country and it's freezing. I suggest doing Gilad's total body workout or some workout videos. Running in place is also good. Sit ups in your room. And dieting too! Not a very strict diet but a healthy one with alot of protein and heck treat yourself sometime. And don't get discouraged if you don't lose weight fast. It is a very slow process. I Hope you take my advice. GOOD LUCK!

Avatar f tn How much is a lot? One week isn't much time, but it is long enough to start weight loss. The first week is usually the biggest drop in weight. Watch your calories, get in some extra cardio, & eat your greens. Good luck!
