Avatar f tn I do this sometimes when my mood is low, but instead of watch TV I surf the internet while I stay in bed all day. It could be a sign of mild depression. To me it is a comfort zone, there is no stress, just relaxation, maybe too much relaxation.

Avatar f tn Try sitting in a squatting position while you watch tv for awhile, up and down stairs is really good because it gets the hips moving. Any walking is helpful really (: bouncing on an exercise ball or even the edge of your couch with your hips/legs spread wide. Good luck!

My nephew, Ashton will literally wake up in the middle of the night and SCREAM bawling his eyes out if the dvd stopped and the tv went blank. But if the tv stays on and he has something to watch, he'll be cool and collect. Plus babies just like noise and lights a lot, it keeps them entertained.

Then she can have her time for watching what she'd like. I will tell ya, I'm a mom of two young boys and I watch no tv during the day and in the evening---------- the kids have their shows on until they go to bed. It is just the way it is. I watch what I'd like later. One of the many sacrifices of parenting.

I invested in a stationary bike and treadmill so that I can get my mind off working out while I'm working out. Earlier today I ran four miles and did 15 minutes of strength training while watching Pirates of the Caribbean on TV. If I didn't have something to watch, I would work out for maybe 10-15 minutes and then get bored. Today I did an hour.
Avatar f tn Walking is apparently good for you and you can do yoga or pilates. There are some specific pregnancy classes you can do. I am 23 weeks pregnant and went back to the gym yesterday. The trainers told me im ok to do almost anything i was doing prior to falling pregnant but not to do anything that puts extra strain on the core or anything that gets your heartrate over 145bpm.

She is in grade 12, graduating with high honors. Number 2 was addicted to Bob the Builder and Thomas. He is now 5, reading at a grade 2 level and wanting to watch Discovery Channel nonstop. We don't let him watch tv during the week. On Saturdays, I let him fill his boots.

Avatar n tn It is up to you to regulate the time he spends in front of the TV and the Computer, you are the Parent , you allow him about an hour or so and then thats it for the night same with TV . His grades will continue to slip if you dont take control, and he needs exercise and sports if he had less of the Tech stuff ,more Physical activities he would get used to it. and come to enjoy the high that comes from exercise .
Avatar m tn Also expect a slight firery feeling mentally, as much as it may seem contrary to how to feel exercise really helps. Watch positive things on TV or engage in acts you used to find enjoyable, as good as Tramadol trance may feel, normal feel a great deal better. I appreciate I will probably chime most with those of you who have hit rock bottom with this drug, let it be a warning to those beginning and a guide to those when they are ready. Best of luck.

349463 tn?1333571576 You can DEFINITELY tell which kids watch too much TV, and you can also tell which kids watch inappropriate programming. Every little boy with aggression problems is allowed to watch cartoons like spiderman and Disney movies. The little girls who are obsessed with princesses (training our girls to be damsels in distress) watch way too much Disney, and the little girls who have terrible attitudes watch the stuff on Disney channel and Nick stuff geared towards older kids.

Avatar f tn I love to read. You could also save the housework for this time. Or watch a favorite TV show. If you're tired, I don't see a problem with napping though. I nap most days. Some days I don't feel as tired so I don't nap. You could also look on Pinterest.
Avatar n tn Have a glass of milk or read a book before trying to sleep. Don’t watch TV or do exercise before sleeping. Condition yourself that you can relax and that you can sleep well. Also, exercise in the daytime it promotes sleep. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
