exercise

483733 tn?1326802046 It's easy enough to sit there, leaning back a bit and reading a book while I pedal. Or set it up in front of the TV and watch a show. I do enjoy my bike.
1117137 tn?1345231505 I am trying to keep up with the regular daily activities and not sleep or watch tv all day. I think I am doing something right coz I didn't gain too much during these 4 months (just 3 kg which is considered normal). Thing is I wasn't exercising much before pregnancy either (just some Pilates once in a while) but now I get really tired really fast and if I don't take breaks I start feeling pain in my lower back even from walking!
382218 tn?1341185087 I did watch that segment this morning. Like you I wish they would do a whole show on just MS or maybe autoimmune disease in general. I'm a member of The Doctors web site and I have actually asked if they would do this. We who have MS or even the limbolanders do a large amount of researching on MS, but people who do not have the disease are very misinformed for the most part. Shows like the Doctors could help educate family members and friends on MS. Oh well, my thoughts only.
Avatar f tn You can also set up the weight and exercise trackers here on MedHelp to keep up with your exercise. It's also a good idea to vary you calorie intake a bit once in a while - like maybe one day eat 200 calories more than usual and the next, 200 calories less.
1318062 tn?1274932396 The xanax was not prescribed to me, I've just read about the difficulties of sleeping while detoxing. I've also been told that getting good sleep is really good for you while detoxing. My plan is to take 1mg at night before I go to bed for 5-7days, no more then that a night and no more after 5-7 days. Also my 2 suppliers I have told not to contact me again after the 23rd. I will also be erasing their numbers and if they do contact me I will change my number if I have to.
1116556 tn?1345119506 No idea of exercise as it relates to MS, just going off the fact of you hurting from the hips down. Throwing it out there.
Avatar n tn As I understand it, you're having your bigeminy even while you watch daytime TV (LOL), so this means your arrhythmia is not caused by exercise. Sure, when one is in a bad PVC period exercise can make them worse. For instance, right now with the BB I have virtually no PVC at rest, but if I start walking I get some. When I exercise and I'm in a bad PVC period, I notice that they first get worse, but after 10 minutes or so they fade away. That's all so strange!
Avatar n tn LOLOLOLOL Wow...you have summed up perfect what its like to be on tx.. You need to do some tv commercials..no better yet..You need to come to my house to keep me laughing all day!!
973741 tn?1342346373 Longevity and cardiac health dependent on regular exercise. It stated that the more aerobic exercise you have, the longer your life will likely be. Motivating for sure! Thoughts?
Avatar f tn MANY out there on the internet-you can even stand and learn how to contract all muscles, google away!
7149587 tn?1388559096 Even treading water is better exercise than watching TV. Not saying you watch TV. My husband jogs. He runs marathons. There is always a body part on him that is injured. I love Jazzercise. I've had to stop doing Jazzercise because it hurts me. Or I hurt myself doing it. I've been going on & off for over 25 yrs.
973741 tn?1342346373 So, do you watch them on our computer or do you have a smart tv you can put them on? I made it to the gym today . . finally. I did my boot camp class. Ha, TORTURE!! I'll check out the youtube videos. I did see this list of quick things you can do in just a few minutes that burns 100 calories. I might post that! May have to check out wii fit too. I wonder if my kids would do that with me?
822194 tn?1263692703 Reading about areas of the world you love, can take you away for a while too. I like so many of you are hesitant to commit to volunteer work. I am so up and down physically on a daily basis. My sleep requirement is still very high. I sleep 12-14 hours a night. I hope to go on a trip soon to visit my family. Some of them are worse off than me. If I can help them in any way, that will help me forget myself.
Avatar f tn Have a glass of milk or read a book before trying to sleep. Don’t watch TV or do exercise before sleeping. Condition yourself that you can relax and that you can sleep well. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
Avatar n tn I then do 5 kinda situps ( as best as I can do ) and 5 pushups ( as best as I can but I do get the stomach off the ground ). Then I repeat the process. Next I go and watch tv while I cool down and use the thigh master on my arms squeezing it to gether and release slow for 15 sets.
Avatar m tn Lithotripsy is quite safe and you can go ahead in removing your Kidney stone. If a kidney stone lodges on the way and gets blocked the pain is intense. This pain goes from all the way from "loin to groin" and very intense. Keep drinking lots of water while you exercise and a balanced diet is important. Proteins should be the main stay while working out coupled with carbohydrates and minimal fat intake.
Avatar m tn You might not want ANY food for about that long anyway. I would say if you CAN eat just eat what spuds GOOD, because chances are not much will sound good. I jumped off the exact same amount of OXY earlier in the year and it was the worse WD I have been through. OXY IMO is the freaking DEVIL. I have come off if percocet, vicodin and other stuff but that jump off from OXY was horrible. For me it was a good 30 days before I was feeling ok again. And not great at that. First two weeks were hell.
387660 tn?1242600342 Or is it really just when you are relaxed for a long period. Like watch TV or in meetings? If so then its not from holing onto a steering wheel. Auto travel can have a relaxing almost hypnotising affect watching those lines wizz by also. The doc mentioned Autoimmune. The most common of those is the one that old docs seem to think only women get.......Thyroidisim. Many men have this, as well as young athletic ones.
Avatar n tn OK I found this forum because I think I am suffering from what you all are suffering while you sleep. This does not happen to me every night but maybe a few times through out the month. I would go to sleep and of course like everyone else dream and than when I want to awake I I feel like I can't move and my eyes can't open. I scream in terror WAKE ME UP hoping my husband can hear me but obviously not it's just in my mind that I am actually screaming.
Avatar m tn I can't explain the shock you feel, but just to let you know, my HRM (Polar) goes to 0 for a few seconds while I'm on the elliptical and holding on to its handles which are also heart rate monitors. I know my pulse did not go to 0, although that's what the Pulsar is saying, because the elliptical is still picking up a pulse. Or the opposite happens, the elliptical monitor goes to zero but I hear my Polar ticking. So there must be some transmission wave interferences.
Avatar n tn Im not super lazy or anything (i dont sit around and watch tv a ton lol) and i do have a full-time job where im on my feet for most of the day. Yesterday i was playing a little bit of basketball with a friend (we couldnt have been playing for more then 10 minutes) and he made me stop cus he said i was scaring him by my breathing. We were playing hard and he said i wa breathing so hard and deeply he thought i was gonna pass out.
Avatar n tn I wasn't really exercising, just walking the dog and walking to my car. Now I'm scared to do much physically, let alone exercise. That isn't much exercise. If you are really concerned and it is affecting your life, tell your doctor and ask for an exercise stress test. You can do a maximal stress test and watch for the arrhythmia. It sounds to me like you are thinking about this too much. If you have a normal stress test and normal heart, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
1056851 tn?1318724578 In the evenings I like to read or watch a funny tv show. Are you a big reader? I'm lucky enough to have a library right around the corner from my house. They have free dvd rentals too which I enjoy because if the movie stinks at least I didn't pay for it :) I used to make beaded bracelets and necklaces but I'm finding that too intricate for my clumsy hands lately. On weekends I like low-key actitivities. Tomorrow we're doing breakfast and a movie. That'll be enough for me.
535822 tn?1443980380 It will make you feel good. So my question is what Movie, music, story, human condition, uplifts you, makes you feel better after a trying day, week, year ...decade .?
Avatar n tn Hi, I am 31, in good condition and I exercise regularily. Every once in a while I will exercise and after I am done I will shake (mostly my hands), then about an hour or two after I will have blurred vision (i cannot read, watch tv etc...) and then I will have a severe headache for a day or two. At first I thought that it was because I wasn't eating or drinking enough water before, but I have tried everything and I cannot figure out the pattern.
98010 tn?1305903335 html Because this is true that given the same volume muscle will weigh more than fat, you are probably converting some of what was fat into muscle as you are exercising therefore weighing more while getting smaller. But also when you work out and you burn calories faster, you tend to get hungrier. You may be eating the right things, but perhaps too much of them.
Avatar n tn No matter what I do, I always get them in moments of stress, and in the past month or so, I get them when I'm laying on my sides or on my back while watching TV. I have a stethescope to hear my heartbeat when I'm having the episodes and i noticed that it sounds like my heart misses a beat, then has one big beat and goes back to normal. While laying down this can happen to me up to 30 times in 15 minutes.
Avatar n tn Hi, The symptoms of dull persistent headaches, dizziness while driving, blurred vision and pain at the back of the eyes suggest of Sinusitis. It is not necessary to have cold or runny nose. Congestion of sinuses may be chronic. Please go for a CT scan of the brain and sinuses and consult an ENT surgeon first for examination, investigations and diagnosis. If sinusitis is not the cause, please consult a neurologist to rule out the neurological causes. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
Avatar m tn It's not a constant moan, but somewhat frequent throughout the night or in the evening when we are watching tv. While upright she appears fine and not in pain, she plays and runs as much as usual, so much so that people still think she is a puppy even though she is over ten. I've been to the vet probably ten times in the past six weeks or so. She's had multiple xrays to see if she's swallowed anything and to check her organs.
Avatar f tn So while i don't envy you having your husband still drinking , i know you can get through this. Don't make his problem your problem Frankly, if you can stick him in the basement to drink, away from you and your son, that would be the best thing that could happen, so that neither of you had to sit an look at it. I'm sure he wouldn't mind, he's got to know that he's not being a good example, and if he isn't , you can tell him.
