Is this the sane as tylenol It says pain relief and under it says acetaminophen? It this okay to take for a headache!?
That's 3500 mg of acetaminophen which isn't a huge amount. It is quite a bit if taken at one time though but to be honest I have taken much more than that at once and for a extended period of time. Luckily I didn't do any damage to my liver or kidneys. You should be just fine since you haven't made a habit out of it. As I'm sure you know, mixing alcohol with acetaminophen is a very bad combination so make sure you don't do that again.

Oxycodone 5mg is not stronger than Oxycodone 10mg with acetaminophen. The acetaminophen has nothing to do with the strength of the oxycodone. However as suggested above it may be that her physician is concerned about the long term effects of acetaminophen.
The mind is powerful. I believe in being truthful with ppl especially when it comes to their health care. I wouldn't encourage you to lie to her but if she doesn't ask you're not being untruthful.

From what I know about antibiotics, it is not ok to drink beer or any alcohol with Doxycycline. It diminishes the effectiveness of the drug and makes it harder to treat the infection. I believe the Pharmacist will add the warning to the lable. If you seek further assistance, please Google " Doxycyline and alcohol" this will give you a pretty good idea of mixing the two.
ve taken acetaminophen and it eases the pain for a couple of hours but it starts again. Can it be muscular? Are there any muscles there that I might have hurt? I am worried because even though I suffer migrane pains since 2004, this pain does not go away. What do you recomend?

Dis-spine has offered you some good suggestions. Don't be overly concerned with the recent "scare" you are hearing about acetaminophen (Tylenol) in thre media. They don't provide all the facts.
The real concern is not the few lortabs you take but any additional acetaminophen you might add to your system. Pick up a bottle of cold medicine, cough suppressant, sleep aid or a similar product and read the label. Most of them contain acetaminophen.
ve been using Opana (oxymorphone) ER twice daily and a small dose of oxymorphone IR for breakthrough pain. It has worked well for me, contains no acetaminophen, is okay with my hepatologist, and has fewer supply hassles than OxyContin did. Anything with Ibuprofen in it should help since things are swollen, same with heat. Sometimes Acetaminophen helps but, overall, I find Advil helps. You'll have to play around because what works for one person doesn't necessarily help another. Sometimes people will vomit from cramps, but birth control can help reduce the effect of them as the above poster mentioned.

Hello, I was tested positive with clymida and was given a 7 day course of doxycycline and I was retested a week after and came back negatice. My bf started his course of doxycycline the week i did my retest that came back negative, he finished his course of doxycycline 4 days ago. Acetaminophen is metabolized by the liver. Doses of acetaminophen greater than the recommended doses are toxic to the liver and may result in severe liver damage.
In other words, perhaps the 'hollow headedness' is due to liver reaction from large dose of acetaminophen. Best wishes!
m concerned about my liver. My doctor refuses to put me on hydrocodone with a lower dose of acetaminophen. I've been on this medication for 10 years-again, rarely even taking 1 full pill a day. It is hard, because I make myself suffer through the pain in order to keep my liver going. I don't have an addictive personality and throughout the course of this, I have not formed an addiction to the pain medication (which I find a blessing).
I was diagnosed with gonorrhea and received a shot (don't know which kind) on December 13th, started Doxycycline the next day, once a day for 7 days ending on the 20th. So that's 7 days after after receiving the shot. I had unprotected sex 4 days after finishing the pills, which is also 7 days after the shot. Is my partner at risk for gonorrhea? I went to a urologist and he prescribed me doxycycline and did a swab test and checked my prostate with an ultrasound machine (atleast that's what i think it was) and everything was normal. After a week i came back and the swab test was negative, but the doctor prescribed me doxycycline again for a week just in case. The symptoms disappeared, however after 1 or 2 weeks they started coming back and now, a month after, the discharge is white again and the urination is uncomfortable.

You can also give him some common cold medicine (pediatric use) as this has both acetaminophen and an antihistamine - the acetaminophen for pain and the antihistamine to prevent itching.

Two months ago, not being fully aware of the dangers, I had 4-5 alcoholic drinks and took 3 vicodin pills (1500mg acetaminophen). I never really showed symptoms of hepatoxicity, but I'm wondering if I still could have caused more chronic damage to my liver. I had only rarely used acetaminophen prior to this (maybe once per year) and have not touched it since. For a while, I experienced a heartburn/bloating sensation and was diagnosed with gastritis.
