I have been on doxycycline an antibiotic for about 5 days and i seem to be feeling very anxious and panic like. Does anyone know if this can cause these symptoms. I am also on 25mg of zoloft. Thanks for any help you can give me.

After a week i came back and the swab test was negative, but the doctor prescribed me doxycycline again for a week just in case. The symptoms disappeared, however after 1 or 2 weeks they started coming back and now, a month after, the discharge is white again and the urination is uncomfortable. I'm starting to feel anxious about this issue and don't know what should i do. Should i just go get some more doxycycline? Or wait for the symptoms to go away?
Meanwhile, that day, he gave me 4 pills of cefuroxime axetil 500mg to take as a single dose and gave me another week of doxycycline. I am on the third day of the second cycle of doxycycline and I still have the minimal squeeze out discharge. Is this something that will go away eventually or does it sound like something else? I did a research on internet and found that my symptoms are almost similar to Chlamydia. I took Azithromycin 1g before I go to bed two days ago. As the discharge didn't disappear two days after taking Azithromycin 1g, I started taking Doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 7 days. Is this procedure effective or not? What other alternative medications available for my aliment without seeing a doctor or screening test?

This is a response to an email I had sent you yesterday about possible symptoms of HIV. I am sure if I had symptoms of that, it would have lasted a lot longer that a few days and more symptoms possibly, as soon as I stoped taking doxy, a day later I felt better, I really hope that is it. Have you ever heard of doxycycline effects before..? I still will get tested in a couple of weeks, and I have learned my lesson morally and ethically.
A week and a half after finishing my doxycycline treatment, i feel symptoms returning. I have discomfort in my urethra. There is no discharge. I don't feel any pain during urination, but I feel mild burning after urination. My urethra has a warm, annoying feeling throughout the day. Do you have any thoughts on what might be causing this? What are your current thyroid hormone levels? Be sure to post reference ranges with results, since ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report. You should be getting tested periodically for TSH, Free T3 and Free T4. Do you have other symptoms of over medication, such as weight loss, diarrhea, tremors, etc. Do you have Hashimoto's?

I had sexual intercourse once with a girl back in Jan this year, however about a week later I was experiencing a dull pulling ache from the right side of my groin/testicle. I was tested twice for all STI's and STD's, all with negative results. I was put on Doxycycline for two weeks and the symptoms seemed to have faded, however as soon as I had finished taking them I experienced the same dull pain in my groin.
Well after still had same symptoms so put in for another treatment this time metronidazole and doxycycline hyclate. Had a pee test and came back negative after first treatment that was mind blowing cause i still had all symptoms. Overdose Of Paracetamol often shows NO SYMPTOMS within the first 24 hours after the overdose. In some cases although there may be mild nausea and vomiting. I am not suicidal. I am being prescribed Lithium daily. I like to know as much as I can about my meds. I know the lethal dose of lithium is about 5gs or 5000mgs which is about 5 times what I am prescribed. I also have looked up the symptoms of lithium toxicity (not fun). But I can't seem to fine anywhere how long after a lethal amount or a small overdose (such as 1 accidental extra dose) on top of toxicity symptoms would start to show or when death would take place.

Hi Doctor, I have been experiencing oral thrush symptoms since the fourth week of September, 2008. I have been to a PA, a Family Practice Physician and a dentist. I have been prescribed Nystatin rinse with little or no effect, and Diflucan 200mg first day and 100mg for six following days. All no resolution. I have had three HIV tests August 11, 2008, August 29, 2008 and October 10, 2008 all negative.
