I noticed that around the time I began taking the medicine that my libido took a huge nosedive, and I am currently not experiencing morning wood, or sexual feelings in general. The doc has a blog (sometimes rambling, always interesting) about his views on Lyme diagnosis and treatment, which views are more in line with what we around here call LLMDs (Lyme-literate medication doctors), who take the position that a couple weeks of doxycycline will cure you, no matter how long you have had Lyme and apparently what other infections the 'Lyme' ticks may have brought along.

I took Doxycycline for 10 days to treat a sinus infection. A week after finishing the Doxy I developed a sore throat and sore tongue. I'm assuming it is a reaction to the drug. How long will this stay in my system and is there anything I can take to alleviate the reaction?
