he has had no other sexual partners either. i was negative last year and he had to take doxycycline for a trip to india last fall. we always use condoms and have no sysmptoms. is it possible for this to be a false positive?

Went to a rather exotic field research trip in India for one month from middle of October. Before going there, I went back to the STD-clinic I originally visited to discuss the situation. They told me that there was virtually no chance of gonorrhea (or chlamydia) as my first urethral sample delivered there (while on doxycycline) was entirely free of leukocytes. As I had some vague symptoms of the same kind in Argentina, I panicked a little and took a week of Bactrim, that seemed to help.
6 weeks ago i had insertive oral sex with someone and I feared a lot . Since I was having mild pain in my testicles mostly on the left I feared of STIs and tested 5 days back for all STDs. I hoped so as advised by a Urologist & Sexologist doctor who is famous here in my city in India.
Everything was negative the doctor said. VDRL negative tested twice in a gap of on month after exposure.. Doctor said i dont have STDs. the pain might be due to stress.

Since one month i have come to india for vaccation and his 4month vaccination for DTP- HIB and Polio is pending. I m concerned about getting him vaccinated here in india as brand for vaccination will be different from indonesia.

Then we went on to have protected vaginal which barely lasted for 2-3 minutes, because i suddenly freaked out in the middle of it.
We live in a developing country (India), and my partner is embarrassed to see a urologist, so being tested for STDs is, unfortunately, simply not an option for us. Please just do the best you can under the circumstances.
