doxycycline for infertility

Hello, I have been recently been tested positive for Ureaplasma. The reason my Dr. tested me for this was because I am a 23 year old Female and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 2 years or so now. I was pregnant once before and I had a miscarriage which it was actually considered a chemical pregnancy. My Dr. says ureaplasma cause infertility is this true? Also he has prescribed me with Doxycycline 100mg 2 capsules a day for 7 days.

Hi, I have been diagnosed with PID today as I was suffering from constant lower abdominal pain for the last week. I have had this pain before, for shorter periods, and I am not sure for how long I have had this disease. I have not been feeling well for about a year, with regular pain stomach, digestion problems and other symptoms that were just diagnosed as "stress" by the doctors.

-( Our fertility doc told us jus 2 skip right over the IUI n go straight for the IVF since the mophology was so terrible. If you don't mind me asking, what was ur dh's morphology? Has ur doc told u what ur chances r of conceiving via IUI? I'm always so skeptical tho cuz i used 2 work 4 a doc n they're always trying 2 make as much money as possible.

Ive been on doxycycline for 3 1/2 days, and the discharge has not gone away at all.. may have even worsened. My vagina hurts excruciatingly every time I pee. How long till the pain and discharge goes away?

The vet prescribed doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 3 weeks. My dog seems fine without any obvious symptoms. Can we just give him the doxycycline 100mg once a day instead because the medication may cause nausea/vomiting. Also after 3 weeks medication, how do you he is treated ? Any advice !

Just wondering if doxycycline worked for you. I am on doxy 100mg twice a day for 14 days. Still haven’t seen and marked improvement in my rash.

I'm currently taking Doxycycline for anti-malaria reasons. I was wondering if it's unsafe to take for 5 consecutive months?

I've been taking doxycycline for acne on my back for a few weeks (50 mg twice daily). The doxycycline was prescribed for inflamed pimples on my back, which would be sore and red. Went to another urgent care after symptoms persisted and they looked at WBC (sure they were for STDs) and treated with doxycycline for one week and supprax(?) symptoms disappeared for a week and came back, so i went and got tested for a full panel of stds, all were negative. after symptoms persisted longer, i went and got azithromycin, wondering if i had a resistant bug to the doxycycline. Symptoms went away for a week and then came back.

Two weeks later a large infected rash appeared. I got myself tested for Lyme and it came out negative. I was given a day of Doxycycline and then it was changed to Amoxicillan. I took it for two weeks. The doctor told me to stop the medication and get retested. Two weeks later, I got my positive results. I had, at this point, two weeks on, two weeks off the antibiotics. When I returned to the doctor with positive results, he put me back on Doxycycline for another two weeks.
