doxycycline and ocp

I have ovarian cyst and i stopped my ocp 2 months ago. Last 2 periods were very dry with brown blood and lasted just 2 days...and this month's period started right after I had sex. By third day it was brown blood and it's very light but it won't stop. I think it's because of ocp and my last two period were very dry But I'm not sure.

if you are taking the the OCP like you are suppose to and have not been on any antibiotics then the chances of you being pregnant are slim and if you are just starting a new OCP then you can expect that your cycles and symptoms may be a little whacky to start with

But then after the third month I finally got it again and it wass super heavey and real painful. I would like keel over in pain. Anywasy that was over and done with. Well im now 1 week late for my next period. All other times i did have a period naturally, there was never and problems or lateness. I am sexually active and we do use condoms. Is there still a chance i could be pregnant?

Dear doctor. I don't know why I keep seeing all sort of weird things and no diagnosis beside glaucoma. ve been told that you count the first day of spotting, however, a couple days ago, I had literally one red spot, followed by mild spotting the next day, and today, regular flow. Doxycycline 100 mgm by mouth twice/day for 6 weeks and then once/day for 3-6 months is a common treatment of blepharitis and meibomian gland disease. instead, i juz told her my prob and she diagnosed me wif oesophagus reflux(side effect of doxycycline) meanin the acid in my stomach traveled up to my esophagus causing irritation and prescibe me wif anacid. i read somewhere that if i were to take doxycycline, i must not take anacid because it will lessen the effectiveness of doxycycline. so, now i'm at a lost again..

Has anyone had low dose doxycycline (50mg) used for rosacea or used any antibiotic and got severe vertigo 40 minutes after taking it? I'm not an MD and not medically trained, but to my knowledge, doxycycline would not treat a yeast infection. Doxy is an antibiotic that treats only bacteria (including Lyme), not yeast (which is in the fungus family). In addition, antibiotics wipe out not only 'bad' bacteria but also the 'good' bacteria that protect your body against fungal infections. It may be that the receptionist at the MD's office got things confused. I would check to be sure.

see your doctor. and realize that you canNOT treat all STDs and that MDs do NOT have good tests for all STDs. some STDS we just call em when we see them. so they can say "i don't think you have herpes" but then you could have it. unless they do a blood test and for men, then don't have a test for HPV...

I have been on doxycycline an antibiotic for about 5 days and i seem to be feeling very anxious and panic like. Does anyone know if this can cause these symptoms. I am also on 25mg of zoloft. Thanks for any help you can give me.
