doxycycline and g6pd deficiency

I was wondering if there is a connection between G6PD Deficiency and Sarcoidosis. When I was 21 I had a UTI and was prescribed Macrodantin and it was discovered 1 week later that I had G6PD Deficiency. I was hospitalized in very serious condition. I was anemic and it was getting worse, my bilirubin was way high, I was jaundiced, I had weight loss, fever, and I eventually had a couple of seizures.

did your doctor try to explore other diagnoses? Did he take tests for STIs (gonorrhea, chlamydia)? I don´t think candida can be responsible for "blue balls" (whatever that is).

My dentist gave me acetaminophen/cod and I took one last night when I felt tooth pain and I felt fine after taking it but I just remember that I have Mild G6PD Deficiency, the office is close now so nobody is picking up when I called.

He was advised to have SGOT and SGPT and the lab test result is SGPT 68.00 and SGOT 92.9. He is a G6PD baby and I was worried if he has hemolitic anemia already. Can someone explain the implication of high SGOT and SGPT to a G6PD baby? Thanks for ur answer..

He gave me a SWAB test and the results said (few Candida + Pus cells) and that i should take anti-mycotic medication. I told him that I have G6PD deficiency in which I cant eat beans or take some medications... So until now I have no options for treatment because of the G6PD, and I have had this penis issue since January so I am worried it will get serious eventually. So till this day I dont have severe symptoms... My penis opening looks slimy at times from the inside, but it does not smell.
