She has struggles with irregular periods and bad acne over this period and then unwanted hair, dandruff, chronic fatigue, hair thinning, blackouts became major issues. Her dermatologist tried everything and suggested that she get her hormone levels tested. They found elevated testosterone and an ultrasound showed the presense of cysts. She is taking only a multivitamin, saw pawmento, fish oil, Q10, vitamin D and calcium at this point.
i have great dandruff problems on my scalp. i try lots of shampoo but no improve. for this reason i lose my hair and on my scalp there r also itching problems. and also i have alargic problems on my skin like itching. so what i do now??? to save my hair...please inform me.. bye...
I've always had issues with Dry Scalp and Dandruff, particularly during the winter. Over the past couple years, I've also developed some sort of scalp sores that when picked at tend to bleed. They seem to continually come back.
I've tried a number of shampoos - Head and Shoulders, Nizoral, Aveda Pureformance, T/Gel, American Crew, etc. with varying results.
then i started to develop light dandruff (white, very little grains) and seem not to manage to get it under control with normal dandruff shampoos etc. while googling dandruff i read that dandruff (but i assume heavy) can be a sign of hiv infection. then i started reading about scary high aids rates in portugal. especially as most new infections here come from hetero sexual encounters.

Hi, wondering if anyone has an answer for me. I used to get dandruff on and off and I used head & shoulders or others like it and it worked fine. This winter, however, my scalp has gotten extremly dry and itchy and flaky, and sore from all the scratching. I tried a bunch of more heavy duty OTC shampoos for dandruff, but none worked. I used an essential oils scalp massage and that worked for a bit. Now it is out of control and driving me crazy.
I use them after a dandruff treatment, the t/gel dandruff shampoo set that contains 3 types of dandruff control, all of them are anti-fungal. I also use tea tree or sea buckthorn soap, which are natural antibacterials. (not sure that is needed, now i think it is a fungus).
To sooth my skin, I use jojoba oil and chemical-free lotions. The olive oil hair product from Hollywood Products also helps. I do this everyday. For some odd reason, keeping my neck moist makes me feel much more comfortable.
You don't cure blepharitis you control it (like oily skin or dandruff). Use the search,eye topics and archives to read all the posts about how to better control this. Also see an Eye MD ophthalmologist find one at www.aao.
Thank you for the advice. I have been able to control my dandruff using salicyclic acid shampoos but the flaky condition on the skin is still a problem . Once I take those strong steroids the condition subsides but as soon as Im done with it it reappears later again. How do I keep this condition under control . Is it a temporary or a permanent problem?
The first doctor prescribed a steroid cream and told me to wash my hair with dandruff shampoo and put a little of the suds in my ears and on my groin. The steroid cream worked for a couple of weeks and then stopped. A few years later a second doctor gave me samples of an anti-fungal cream and told me to use it. That did nothing.
So basically I've been itching non-stop and clawing my body up pretty good for 15 years.
anyone else have dandruff & greasy hair constantly since getting pregnant?
Lately i have noticed i have dandruff, i heard of shampoo that gets rid of it, does anyone know any kind of shampoo or other thing that does, i have tried showering even More often then i do, which is alot, and it still doesnt go away, i want to get rid of it soon, only got it about a week ago. Ive always suffered from dandruff and so i used T-gel and capisal anti-dandfuff shampoos, but when i got pregnant my doc told me not to use them because of coal tar and so i stopped, it also says on the back of the bottle not reccomended during pregnancy, its been 9 weeks and my head is soo itchy its driving me mad :( .. Anyone know any good natural ways to get rid of it?
He suffers from constant dandruff regardless of what shampoos are used. We have been to many dermatologist for prescription shampoos with no luck.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
