What kind of medicine could I take for coughing I'm 15 weeks pregnant and have a miserable cough.

the cough did not improve after this point though, i still was coughing up sputum regularly and i found it very hard to suppress my coughing fits if i ever tried to. when i returned to NZ i was still having violent and productive coughing fits, often set off by laughing or exercise, also at night.

and had some pee come out when I did most times. Pretty gross....

I look at it as when ur pregnant ur new dr is ur OB so anything health related u go to ur OB because they know everything about ur pregnancy...plus unfortunately if all u have is a sneeze and cough they prob won't give u anything..

I'm 15 weeks 2day and I have had a terrible cold and cough which became worse on Sunday. I have been taking OTC medication (my Obstet. and Pharmacist said it's safe) to dissolve the mucus in my air passages but it doesn't reduce the coughing. I'm coughing so badly that I'm occassionally dry heaving. I would please like some advice. Anyhoo, as of this morning I have been hacking up a storm, as of 2 hours from waking up I developed a sore throat (I believe from the hard coughing) I have not coughed anything up but the coughing gets so hard it becomes dry-reacing frequently. And that taste of blood waay down in the back of my throat is ever present after each cough.

Hello all! I'm sure that this topic has come up before, but I can't find the post. I'm now 15w2d and have been coughing like crazy for the last week or so. It's so bad to the point where I'm occasionally gagging. I called the doctor today and she said all I can do is have tea with honey or some lozenges. Cough syrups have way too much alcohol in them.
