Dull aching type of headache which is continous and of sudden onset, feel the pulsations in the head, cannot turn head much the pain aggravates, pain aggravated also on sneezing and coughing, associated with diarrhoea and eyes pain.
No dizziness, blacking out, nausea, vomiting, tinnitus
No history of diabetes mellitus, tuberculosis, hypertension or asthma
There is history of surgery 5 years back for ependymoma in the 4th ventricle(benign tumour), no complaints of that.
I have been getting treatment for asthma for over three years now....neublizer w/xopenex...flomax, advair, asthmanex, to name a few...I am still coughing like crazy. I had allergy tests and have been on Allegra and a nasal spray....no relief. It appears that all of a sudden my throat is dry and has a "catch" in it and I start coughing and then water pours out of my eyes and tons of mucous pours out of my mouth.
I have a barking cough wheezing headache runny nose puffy under my eyes and 3 big bumps on the back of my tongue. Should I go to the Dr.? Ive had a cold for over a week and been wheezing for 4-5 days. coughing real bad it hurts my chest. Today I noticed 3 fairly large bumps on the back of my tongue that dont hurt. they are on both sides by my tonsils. Just wondering what this could be!
I have gotten some relief from Imitrex. I have now got one treatment of Botox Nov 24/07, which seems to help a lot. Only 2 days of headaches in 2 months. About 6 weeks ago I started getting a very painfull pounding at the top of my head whenever I stand or sit quickly. Or when I laugh, sneeze, cough or stain to do anything at all. It only lasts about 5 - 10 beats, but it is VERY painful and scary. I almost pass out with the pain.
I have had chest congestion for a week. I also have gotten a headache a couple times. Bad Coughing at night. I'm 35 1/2weeks pregnant. I've been taking robitissin cough and congestion and Tylenol. It helps but it's still here. Should I see/call my ob/gyn or see a regular physician?

Does coughing make the herniation of the cerebellar tonsils worse? I am have nasal congestion and the drainage is causing me to cough. It is causing me tremendous pain and I feel as if my head is about to burst. I am taking meds and cough drops in order to prevent spells however, they persist. Will this worsen the chiari symptoms and herniation? Thank you for any resoonses I am new to this diagnosis and forum.

I started coughing Saturday, February sixth. Felt like typical coughing but it started getting bad on Monday, the eighth. Tuesday morning i started coughing up blood, looked clotted.. it was darker. Well, a week later, today i still am coughing up blood in the morning. It actually has had some bright, fresh, blood in it but it isn't in that big of quantities. It's the sixteenth and i've been wheezy since the eighth.
My younger brother has an issue but refuses to go to the dr. So I was wondering if anyone could possibly diagnose this. He starts to have nose bleeds and coughs up blood, and with in 10 mins of that happening he will pass out. But he never remembers what happens. After this happens he will have a severe headache for days. Sometimes he will seem like he's awake to you but when u talk to him about it the next day he has no memories.

Has anyone here had their dog go through heartworm treatment before? My husky is on day 5 from getting his HW treatment (immeticide?) We're not suppose to have him move around too much because the decomposing worms may cause an embolism. He's coughing a a hacking cough today and not eating too much. I'm wondering what to expect next....

I started working out 3 weeks ago - I have a personal trainer - just this past week i got a intense headache after doing some weights. It happened again yesterday. Doing leg lifts, a intense headache right away.
The pain meds allow me to sleep but I wake up within two hours still with the horrible headache. I also have been taking muscle relaxers, but for the last three months I have been on them and still get the headaches. Xrays were normal, MRI of neck show slipped disc and spinal cord slightly rotated. I got Facet shots, which made the neck pain go away but nothing will help the headaches. The headaches start at the base of skull and work up to top of head they feel deep.
I took Tylenol for the sinus and headache pains, steam treatment for the congestion, and saline nasal spray to clean out my sinuses. Decaffeinated tea with lemon and a tablespoon of honey helped with the coughing and chest congestion. Also drink lots of water to stay hydrated. Hope you get to feeling better soon!
I have been using Combivent for about a month together with Asmanex to treat my cough-variant asthma and have had pretty good results. However, the first inhalation of Combivent always triggers a major coughing spell (sometimes it's so severe I almost vomit or my ribs hurt). Are there other bronchodilators that might be easier to inhale and still be effective? Or would using a nebulizer help? I've heard there can be adverse side effects with a nebulizer.
ve gotten a really bad headache which I need medications so I can comprehend with the headache. The fever is still here and my throat has gone really sore again and my coughing is really bad, sometimes I cough up orange/dark yellow phlegm and it gives a really bad taste. To top it off its so bad at night, I need sleeping pills to calm down and actually sleep.
My doctor said it will go away in a few days.

Has anyone experienced really bad coughing during treatment? My boyfriend developed terrible coughing the first week of treatment. It's not a dry cough, he brings up copious amounts of flem/mucous. When he first started treatment, he noticed the coughing attack usually began about one hour after his ribavarin dose. This went on throughout his six month tx, some days worse than others.

Sometimes severe coughing can lead to vomiting. There are many causes of nausea. Stress, medications, reflux disease, gastritis, hepatitis, migraine; CNS causes are few conditions presenting wit nausea and headache. The presence of associated symptoms and clinical examination findings may be important for correct diagnosis and treatment. It is possible that GERD is causing acid and food to reflux back. You will need antacids and medications for your cough. Take light food.
In the beginning, i had a normal cold. But then all the cold symptoms (headache, earache, stuffy nose) went away and the cough never did. About a week ago, all the cold symptoms came back, and lately i've been waking up with my right eye crusted shut. I've gone to the doctor twice and the first time they told me it was allergies, the second time they told me it was asthma. So i went to a pulmonary doctor and i dont have ashtma or allergies.
