Common Questions and Answers about Breast pain lymph nodes

Avatar n tn Is it normal for lumps to be lymph nodes in the breast? The radiol said hes not concerned if I haven't noticed change~but the surgeon told me to stop checking regulary! I have a fam hist.
Avatar n tn I started haveing pain in my right underarm which radiates from there into my breast and pain in my right groin area which will radiate into my abdomin and leg. That was like that for about 4 weeks. It then spread to the other side in the same area's and has no affected my neck under my jaw. The pain in all area's has worsened. I have no noticable swellign in any of the area's.
Avatar n tn I feel no lumps outside of the normal lymph nodes. I read that pain is not frequently associated with breast cancer? What about lymphoma? Why is it that when you enter lymph node pain online you get nothing but cancer links? What else can cause lymph node pain? I have not injured myself or been sick to cause it to react? Could it be hormonal? Menapause?
Avatar f tn I have never noticed pain im my breast but ever since the baseline mammo I feel like there is a lumo there and it hurts a little if I puch on the area. I also have bad night sweets for the past year and do not know if all if this is ties together. I few years ago I had a mamo on the same breast for a rash but was told everything was good. I am just confused and wondering what they might be looking for.
Avatar f tn It wasn't a lymph node, at least my Doctor couldn't find it! He send me some images of my armpit and breast! Going on the 27th..
Avatar f tn Hi Welcome to the MedHelp forum! Neck lymph nodes can be the result of tonsillitis, pharyngitis (infection of upper throat), infection in mouth, caries in tooth, internal ear infection, outer ear infection, eczema, dermatitis, dandruff, breast cancer, fungal infection, other cancers like lymphoma etc. If you had flu like symptoms initially then it could be due to infectious mononucleosis too.
Avatar n tn red patches that develop into blisters; grouped, dense, deep, small blisters that ooze and crust; and swollen lymph nodes. Shingles usually clears up in two to three weeks and rarely recurs. However, if this condition persists, it would be good to see your doctor to eliminate all doubts. Take care and keep us posted.
1855970 tn?1325827213 For about a week, I've been having issues with my ears ringing constantly (worse when my surroundings are quiet), pain in my ears, pain/swelling in the lymph nodes below my ears, and just last night I started having pain in the space between my right breast and armpit. I'm also always tired and I have a white coating on my tongue almost 24/7... Off subject, but I dont get my period regularly (maybe once a year), so I'm scared about cancer...
Avatar n tn I recently had a mammogram and it show two lymph nodes present. I now have pain in both breasts and under the arms. I'm a runner and these nodes are becoming such a problem that the ones under my arms now hurt when I put on my tight fitting running clothes. Are all nodes in the breasts considered dangerous? Should I be proactive with this and listen to my body?
Avatar n tn While I had little or no pain after the biopsy in my breast, I am now experiencing serious pain in my underarm area where my lymph nodes would be on that side. Is this something that I should call my regular physician about while I am waiting for the appointment with the surgeon? Does this mean that the cancer has gone into the lymph system?
Avatar n tn They both weren't concerned, and basically I have fibrocystic breast, really on just one side. One radiologist said I have what seems like a reactive lymph node, there was increased blood flow on ultrasound. I have a dull ache all cycle, and much more achiness the second half of my cycle. My new concern or question is about axillary lymph node achiness.
Avatar n tn I had 3 neoadjuvant AC, it looks like tumor is shrinking but my breast and axillary lymphy nodes after neulasta shot are swollen and hot. I usually get rib cage and arm pain with neulast.
Avatar n tn Could this have anything to do with an appendectomy he had 2 years ago? Do this lymph node need to be removed? Does it cause any pain or lead to any other problems? Thanks for your help.
Avatar n tn Well after continuing shoulder pain I just had a second MRI which still showed enlarged lymph nodes. Now my doctor is concerned that I might have breast cancer! I'm only 29years old and otherwise healthy...just a sore shoulder. I could use anyone's advice on what could be going on...
Avatar n tn I noticed the lymph node under my left arm is swollen. It doesn't hurt, just swollen. So I went to my gynocologist, who performed a breast exam & said she didn't feel anything abnormal, but did notice I had a 100.2 temperature, thought it was maybe an infested hair folicle. (No rednesss or any sign of an infected hair folicle), but she put me on a course of antibiotics. (Levaquin). I have been taking it for 6 days. The swelling is not down.
230625 tn?1216764664 The lymph nodes under my arms and on the side of my chest have been sore off and on for a few months (more "on" than "off"). This first occurred when some of my other symptoms popped up (hand tremors, tingling, pulsatile tinnitus, etc.). My neuro says it's not MS related. I've had a PCP check them out and said that they were not swollen and that is was probably a sore muscle (yeah, I do know the difference). I have regular mammograms and my next one is due in November.
Avatar n tn This morning I noticed a few more swollen lymph nodes on the left side of my neck, as well as what seems to be a lymph node along my jaw, about an inch from my ear. It seems odd to me. I am scheduled to go back to the doctor in about a month, but I was just wondering if this is significant at all or even related? Thanks!
Avatar f tn I am 26 and noticed about a yr ago that i have 2 swollen lymph nodes close to each other in the upper left hand side of my neck. I went to the doctor a few months ago and she told me it was nothing to worry about as they are moveable and very small. More recently been experience pronounced neck pains and stiffness along with dizziness, throat and chest discomfort. This is giving me much concern. I should also add that i am very stressed and borderline hypertensive. What should be my next step?
Avatar n tn Inguinal nodes vary in size, some as small as a pea, others as large as an almond. Lymph nodes larger than 1.5cm are considered abnormal and should be evaluated if unchanged for a period of time. Localized infection is generally the cause of abnormal size. Have a doctor evaluate the nodes if you want some reassurance. Im sure your fine.
773090 tn?1267463213 I've been told by 2 physicians that it seems that I am dealing with Lymphoma, no further testings have been done at the moment all I know is that my lymph nodes are still the same size, they haven't shrunk nor have they gotten any bigger, the one on the left side of my neck is hard & fixed, the other ones I don't really see them to be honest with all of you, no pain in any of them but the 4 ultrasounds that have been done between Dec 2009/ Feb 2010 shows different...
Avatar n tn To my knowledge I have had no problem with lymph nodes in my abdomen, although I got breast cancer in 2003 which had spread to my lymph nodes in the armpit. I had a lumpectomy, total axillary removal because of the spread to the lymph nodes, chemo and radiotherapy. Currently doing well. I am self injecting methotrexate once weekly, and I do know and have been told by my gastro, that a side effect of both methotrexate and FEC chemo could be lymphoma.
