Breast pain during ovulation

Common Questions and Answers about Breast pain during ovulation

breast

Avatar f tn I have never felt it so open or soft before. It def. feels different than it has a few days ago. Also, breast pain has just started. its kind of the inside area of my breast. Really mostly my left breast and not as painful as my back. Light pain. Just started to notice that a few minutes ago. Although, my cervical mucus doesn't seem too different. It seems kind of like egg whites... but it doesn't seem to be much of an increase.
Avatar f tn That's why I read it because I have those ovary pains when I'm getting ready to start, while I'm on AF, right after AF, then I get a short break until what I think is right before ovulation, during ovulation and even right after so it can be hard to know for sure based on that. Anyway, I'd take a look!! Maybe BFP next month???!!!
Avatar f tn For most women it will take some time in studying her body to be able to differentiate between what her cervix normally feels like and the changes it goes through during ovulation. These 3 main signs of ovulation can be studied and learned so that you can accurately predict your time of ovulation. Using the Fertility Awareness Method many women have used these signs to prevent or achieve pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Certainly your hormones work hard during ovulation. If you are having pains/cramping during your cycle that is not right before (the information above that you only have cramps when ovulating or when you have an infection is false) your period, a woman can sometimes have a harmless cyst, it 'could' be related to ovulation (but again, that is usually pretty subtle), etc. Have you had a pap smear/ pelvic exam recently?
Avatar n tn My cycles since I stopped breast feeding 1 year ago have been consistantly 25-28 days long. For the past few months I have noticed a dull abdominal pain around my ovulation day, lasting 20 minutes or so. Last week, my husband and I tried again when I suspected fertile days (egg white quality cervical fluid) and I still had the abdominal pain. Is this dull pain a sign of missed conception or would there still be a window of opportunity?
Avatar n tn Yes, I do get a pain in which ever side I am ovulating when I ovulate. Tracking with temperature is a great help and will help you know more about what is going on with your body. The pain is called mittelschermz. Here is website that you can learn more: http://www.cnn.com/HEALTH/library/DS/00507.html Here's a piece from that website: If you're a woman who sometimes experiences a pain on one side of your lower abdomen and you don't know what it is, keep track of its timing.
Avatar n tn I just got off my period 12 days ago and ovulation sticks say I'm in my ovulation stage. Its not 15 days since my last period. Is it normal to have sore breast during ovulation? I've always had sore breast prior to my period but not this early. Could I be pregnant?
Avatar n tn I came across this thread while searching for "nausea during ovulation". I am sick every single month, during ovulation along with a few days before and after my period. I have never experienced anything like this, as I have always had normal PMS and periods. The sickness started about 6 months after my baby was born. I am 33 years old, and was thinking maybe my hormones changed after this last pregnancy. To say I am miserable is an understatement.
Avatar f tn The gynecologist said breast tenderness has something to do with ovulation like with your period or something but I never had pain in my breast before.
Avatar n tn At 25 I discovered a lump in my groin area very similar to a hernia except it only showed up during ovulation, middle of cycle. I have seen many doctors who cannot diagnose it. It is 1 inch above pubic bone, 2 inches away from crease in leg.It shows up on left side only, sometimes back to back months but occasionally skipping a month. Due to the fact that this was unable to be diagnosed I tried to get pregnant. I took a ovulation test during the lumps occurrence which turned out positive.
1455812 tn?1288103369 Has anyone noticed having more frequent pvc's or ones that last a little longer during ovulation or during your cycle? I have noticed mine getting worse during ovulation. I also, tend to run low on iron, so that could be part of it I guess. Just curious to know if anyone else has seen this pattern?

Avatar n tn I agree with tarajanes, i have also heard that this can happen during ovulation. I have cysts on myleft ovary and i get pain and achey on that side when im ovualting and then the pain seems to dissapear after ovulation so it could be the same sort of thing but i wouldnt be happy that no one knows what it was and couldnt shed any light on it especially my doctor. Maybe try seeing a gyno as thats where i always go and they have been great with me so far.
Avatar n tn emotional differences. my body also becomes much more sensitive during ovulation with sore breasts and nipples like you have mentioned. other than those ideas i am not sure. enjoy, you have one more good year left haha. jk!!
Avatar n tn I went off all caffeine products for one year and the pain stopped and I have not had any problems with breast pain since....unless I drink too much caffeine, in which case I simply cut caffeine for a week or so until it gets better. My friend had the same type of discharge from her breasts and it was nothing....but it is always best to get the OB-GYN's advice.
203342 tn?1328740807 Hi April. I get breast pain, but it's around the side and underneath. I am already through menopause, however. Also, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, so that could be it. But I have had this pain throughout my life, on and off. What I do is use ice ( I know it sounds bad) and take some Advil. I also get a red rash around my nipples and the doctor told me to put cortizone cream on it or neosporin.
Avatar n tn Hi, I too have severe, incapacitating pain during ovulation, sometimes making me sore for days to come afterward. I also have IBS, which the ovulatory pain tends to throw me into after the pain subsides. Unfortunately, the IBS makes my suffering longer, as that consists of severe gastrointestinal pain, for which I take Gas X. I break out into a sweat, almost passing out sometimes, it feels like a long, intense labor pain that will not go away (the ovulation pain is being referred to here).
Avatar n tn ) Can anyone describe for me the difference between an ovulation pain and an implantation pain? Or is there pain at implantation? I had a horrible, but brief pain on the 16th that doubled me over. It felt like a pinch or "catch", it was awful, but just for a second or two. I have had this feeling before, but never thought to document anything until after my M/C on 10-31-06. 2.) can anyone tell me if it is possible to have implantation with no bleeding? TTC.....
Avatar f tn I have very sore breasts during my ovulation period...I am not able to do almost anything ..even a slightest move hurts badly..doc did nt give any meds instead she asked me to start primrose oil...no effect whatsoever yet...please please somebody help....
Avatar n tn I get that stretchy, clear or eggyolky discharge for about 8-10 days instead of the usual 2-3, and my ovulation pain lasts almost the entire two weeks before my period. The discharge doesn't have any smell whatsoever. My breasts are also bigger and tender for almost that same time period. It's as if I'm ovulating for 2-3 weeks. I've also been having bloatedness, lower back pain on the right side, and feel fatigued a lot. I feel like my whole abdominal area is just inflamed.
1386249 tn?1303095696 That is confusing! We are also back to TTC since Sept, after a D&C in July. But my cycles are loooong...like 34-38 days. I think there are plenty of people who experience ovulation "pain" or a twinge on one side or the other, but many people (like myself) really only experience EWCM. Many also experince lighter AF symptoms, like breast tenderness. For me, the EWCM occurs about 2-3 days prior to seeing a positive OPK.
Avatar n tn I was was diagnosed with endo at 33 after having pain (right side only) not just during my period, but on and off during my whole cycle. I was scheduled for a lap, and low and behold, I ended up pregnant. I am thrilled because I wasn't sure that was even possible. I am 5 1/2 weeks in and I am experiencing the same endo pain I had but more severe. This is not only reallllly uncomfortable, but worse than the pain- its making so paranoid that something is wrong or will go wrong.
366581 tn?1207593759 Well everyone is different. I experience cramping and pain on one side during ovulation and also get breast tenderness. Sometimes it tingles in the nipple area but usually they just swell, feel like waterballoons and are generally achy and sore. I get some lower back pain as well, but not every month. I started noticing the O pains about 2 years ago so i guess they can come about any time in your life.
Avatar n tn You could be ovulating. Breast tenderness often happens as well as mood swings, nausea, stomach pain...Usually you will have non stretchy mucous first but it varies woman to woman. A book that clearly explains this and the one I refer to each month is "The Billings Method". Very helpful. It has pictures of each stage of mucous and helps you chart your cycle so you know whats going on each month and are more in tune.
Avatar n tn Since then I have periods of significant pain in that breast. It seems to occur around ovulation and menstruation. My recent mammogram was clear as was my physical check. What I want to know is has anyone else experienced this? My surgeon doesn't seem to have any explanation except for saying he removed a lot of tissue. Am I unique or have others experienced this? Is it likely to continue forever?
Avatar f tn Before, during, and after my period I had a dull pain on near my left ovary, breasts sensitivity, and some light abdomen cramping. Now after my period I have increased vaginal discharge with my breast sensitivity. Sometimes they hurt and feel heavy. I usually have cramping right before my period but I didn't have any this time. Is this change hormonal, stress related or am I ovulating early? Thanks.
491527 tn?1214491403 stomach pain, boating, breast soreness, gas, constipation, back pain and discomfort during sex. I never related any of this to my ovaries. I thought it was my diet, the new man in my life was just larger than my exhusband, and I had prior untreated injuries to my back from cheerleading, limbo and a car accident. Last year I saw 2 gastrointestional doctors with no resolve.
1274271 tn?1453265765 I had an early miscarrage 3 months ago and ever since then ive had absolutley no breast tenderness or pain. I used opks this last cycle and had a positive on day 17. It is now 10 DPO and still no breast tenderness. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal?
