11367320 tn?1421803559 I Put It In The Fridge For Later On Till I Go To See Her But I Was Wondering For How Long Is Breast Milk Good (When U Put It in The Fridge) To Feed Your Baby?
Avatar n tn Breast milk in a nonpregnant woman can be worrisome. It is the third most common breast complaint that brings women to the doctor, after lumps and breast pain. Roughly half of women may express some fluid from their breasts during a breast self-exam. Most of the time it is associated with non malignant causes such as hormonal imbalances. Sometimes it is just due to stimulation during sexual foreplay.
Avatar n tn Alot of people are saying that right now since im starting to produce my milk that my husband should be sucking on my boobs that it helps with the producing of milk. Is it true or not?
Avatar f tn 32 pm it was a 30 min delivery very fast got here at ghe hospital at 2 something pm im not getting any breast milk any ways i can get breast milk my bby really needs it he was 3 weeks premature & is i special care
986603 tn?1248976499 I would first of all say that you are awfully young to be on the pill. But that is just me ... If the discharge happened before you started the pill then I would see a doctor about it. I honestly don't know much about what pubescent girls go through during puberty, so I do not know if this is normal or not. If it happened after the pill then definitely see a doctor.
Avatar f tn I will pump a little and go back to sleep- this way I have milk in the freezer and am still ready to feed the baby when she wakes.
Avatar n tn I stopped breast feeding her when she was 8 months old. The other day I noticed that I was leaking milk from my breast. How long does it take for breast milk to dry up? And should I be concerned or contact my GYN?
Avatar n tn but i would call your dr and ask for their opinion and i know hospitals usually offer classes and there are lactating consultants you can call and talk to anytime at the hospital. maybe go to amazon and put in breast feeding and see what comes up and read reviews... you can see what other people found helpful...if you find anything good..keep us posted, i would love to know..
Avatar f tn But please don't stress as lots of new research says that bottle milk is just as good these days as breast milk your baby will be looked after just the same whatever way you are able to feed her/him. Lots of emphasis it's placed on breast feeding but people forget it's very difficult for a lot of ladies and stress them unnecessarily. If it happens then brilliant but if it doesn't well it's not the end of the world either and don't let others tell you any different.
10665671 tn?1413748049 I don't think it makes any difference if you go straight from the breast or breast milk in a bottle. I didn't have much need to pump, so usually did it straight from the breast. My first child would go back and forth between breast and bottle but my second would only do the breast (kind of a pain). You can supplement with formula if there are issues with no hazard to your baby. But hopefully you won't have any.
4402433 tn?1354184298 I know that but a lot of people dont leak at all and go on to breast feed...
Avatar f tn Its horrible cus as is clothes doesn't fit due to the belly and now add the huge breast lol. Well good luck. Milk for sure will come when baby arrives other then that maybe a little before so I've heard.
Avatar n tn Stay away from peppermint, it can reduce your milk. Dill can boost your milk supply. There are others but I can't remember them off the top of my head.
7058746 tn?1393439020 her everyday shes in the nicu she started eating thru the tube so if u want save or donate it to the hospital :)
Avatar n tn With my first baby I decided to breastfeed then switch to a pump which caused me to dry out and with my second baby I fully breastfed it may seem like yur not supplying enough milk but as long as your baby is latched on well he or she should be getting milk ..never really depend on a pump cause the suction is not the same a babys latch is way more stronger which causes you to produce more plus depending on a pump can cause you to dry out ..
Avatar f tn It is not known how long thc stays in the milk so pumping may or may not work. Either way its not worth the risk. If you are going to take anything in harmful to your baby u should not breastfeed and switch to formula. Good luck.
Avatar f tn Its not milk that they are leaking. Milk does not come in until after baby is here and dont stress about it. I have been stressing and the doctor is telling me thats why I am having problems getting my milk to come in. My baby has been here for 10 days and I am only getting like half an oz every time I pump.
Avatar n tn I have breast milk and have had it about 7 years now. I have no children, have never breast fed. Do you think this is why I don't have my period? It is only enough milk to squirt out a couple of times everyday, but it is definitly milk.
Avatar f tn I try not to eat onions when breastfeeding it has always given my babies tummy aches And it smells gross if your pumping so I'm sure that it doesn't taste very good. If I don't eat enough when I'm breastfeeding my supply decrease so do skip meals and eat healthy snacks along with plunty of water.
Avatar f tn it triggers your milk makin hormones to start. About 2-5 days after the colostrum will turn to breast milk.
Avatar f tn My mother in law says I don't eat ghee so my baby is suffering. Please share your thoughts and experiences. Does the breast milk is really affected by what mother eats?
1123420 tn?1350564758 I really want my baby to have breast milk for the first month or so, but really can't imagine actually breast feeding, so I was thinking about just pumping it.. I don't know the first thing about it. So is that any different, does it break the bond? Does it hurt any less? I have absolutely no idea, so if you could help me with these questions, or let me know other things that I need to know, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!!
5612058 tn?1373579634 Your milk is PLENTY to sustain baby as its stomach grows and your supply increases from colostrum to full on breast milk.
Avatar n tn Breast-milk or infant formula (2-4oz) 8-12 feedings per day, Infant cereal (1-2 Tablespoons) 1-2 feedings per day. Give the rice cereal by spoon. Mix the infant cereal with 2-3 teaspoon (or more) formula and/or breast milk until a good wet consistency (but not runny). Increase the cereal as the months go on. Hopefully this will help with weight gain. Suggest relaxing when you feed her. Infants pick up on tension. If she does not drink then do not make a fuss and see what happens the next time.
Avatar n tn At 1 year old a child should be served no more than 24 ounces of milk a day. Since she was on breast milk, suggest she go on Pedisure for 6 months and if she is growing steady then change to regular milk.
