I have a red patch on my upper lip that is red, dry, but no blister and does not itch. It burns when I get somethign acidic on it. I noticed that I had a blister under my tongue a few day ago. My upper lip feels a bit tight, like after getting windburn. I did have a scab over the area, like a layer of soft skin. I'm 51 years old, female.
I was 7 or 8 when i started biting my bottom lip it eventually caused what i believe to be a small blood blister. It has faded considerbly as i have not bit my lip in over 25 years, however it has not disappeared and every now and then it becomes really noticable. I have noticed a few smaller ones like needle pricks that have just appeared. My question is what are they caused from and how do you treat them?
One day while biting and picking at my lips I noticed that one part that I was biting on the bottom of my lip started to hurt, since I never realize that I pick at my lip and bite it, I noticed that everytime I bit that area it hurt but if I left it alone it didn't hurt well after a few hours before bed time I looked in the mirror and only saw dry lip, but I picked at that area again and it hurt so being a lip picker I ripped the dry skin off and noticed clear fluid came out, it didn't b
About 2 months ago I got a red blood blister on my bottom lip, a month went by and I didnt really think too much about it and left it.....after that it was annoying me and I decided that my best option would be to pop the blister to get rid of it. I know now that this was a very bad decision!! The blister formed into a scab which bled a couple more times when I caught the scab....it looked very unsightly and my friend advised the best thing to do is put on some blistex.

also its been 6 days of my cold sore and it has not changed, the color went down a bit, but my lip is still swollen. my question is if i was alreadly infected with the hsv1, is it possilble to get genital hsv1? and is my cold sore a cold sore? since it has not changed in 6 days, no blister just swollen. and the doctor said i have to wait 4 weeks to see and blister, would the antiviral pills extend the 4 weeks? currently i have to symptons in my genital area.

Sometimes it stings like several pinpricks. I feel on and off fatigue. This somewhat cycles every couple weeks. My bottom lip occasionally gets swollen to with a little bit of irritation. I have been to two different doctors and they say its not herpes. I may have a few blisters on my fingers, I can't really tell, but I have a 1.5mm blister on my wrist that looks really transparent and is only on the top layer of skin. About 12 days ago I noticed my bottom lip started to swell. I had just used a new lipstick, the kind that stains the lips then you put on a clear coat. I have been using this type for many months. The lip was stinging, & burning along with the swelling. I also thought this was a reaction to some antibiotics I was on. I have never had this happen before. Now, 12 days later my lips are not swelled but they still have blisters that burn, even water from the shower burns them.

It was only swollen to a small lump on one side, and looked a bit like a blood blister. It got slightly bigger throughout the day, but since then gets bigger and smaller in size, depending on whether I accidently bite it or not! The blood has disappeared and it now just looks like a weird bump on my lip, I can feel its full of fluid. Its not painful but does feel a bit like a bruise. All the doctor gave me was hydrocortisone cream to use for a week which hasn't worked.
About 6 days ago I was watching Seinfeld and eating 2 overly salted cucumbers and when I got to the bottom of the bowl I felt the left side of my bottom lip go numb and tingly and when I looked in the mirror I found there was a clear blister that had formed on the inner part of my bottom lip on the left side. I just broke out in what I'm assuming is my first cold sore. My girlfriend gets them, and unfortunately it would appear I've contracted it. It came on fast and on day 1 (that I noticed it) it was a large raised bump with a small crater, and on day 2 (today, Saturday) I woke up to find it hard and almost black. I now see that it's filled with blood; basically more like a blood blister than anything else.
Sounds more like an broken blood vessel caused by trauma, probably hit or bit your lip
