Do you mean you have something on your eyelid? if on eyelash the eyelash is usually just pulled out. If on the eyelid I have no way of telling how big of a deal this is. You really need to ask your surgeon.

the eye would become inflammed and blood-shot very easily, like rubbing the eye with my hand or an eyelash falling into the eye, etc. What could this growth be and is it causing the infections in this eye? Is it necessary to remove this bump?

I also was prescribed spironolactone for the hirsitism to block the androgen receptors but I dont want to disturb K levels and get hyperkalemia. Should I worry about K levels or if a low dose is prescribed it wouldnt be a problem?
Also I have alopecia in the eyelash region of my left eye and was told the treatment was steroid injections in the eyelid but that would cause cataracts..I am currently in my 3rd year of medical school and I was wondering why that would be a side effect.
ve tried prednisolone eye drops for one week - but had to stop becuae they irritated my eyes, i am now on FML eyedrops - have been using them for 15 days, no improvement in eye condition and no halt of eyelash loss. fml is really irritating my eyes - i may stop these aswell because my eyes feel unbearable.
please help me - what can i do to stop this inflammation that is causing the eyelash loss?
