Bimatoprost hair growth

Common Questions and Answers about Bimatoprost hair growth

lumigan

Avatar m tn Lumigan is a glaucoma medication that is put directly on the eye. Latisse is the same medication, different packaging for eyelash growth and it is painted on the eyelashes with a brush. I suppose the study that was completed 12/31/09 for growing eyelashes was only done on upper lid eyelashes. Then that's all that the FDA will allow them to say.
Avatar n tn Excerpt from DoubleCheckMD - Latisse (bimatoprost topical ophthalmic)... "Latisse may cause color change in the sclera (tough, outer covering of the eye). Concurrent administration of bimatoprost topical ophthalmic solution (LATISSE) and IOP-lowering prostaglandin analogs in ocular hypertensive patients may decrease the IOP-lowering effect. Patients using these products concomitantly should be closely monitored for changes to their intraocular pressure.
12845664 tn?1427483649 I am using Lumigan (bimatoprost) 0.01% nightly. Cost under my Medicare coverage is pretty high (deductible plus copay). Bimatoprost 0.03% is now available as a generic. What potential problems am I inviting by asking my ophthalmologist to switch prescriptions and start using the 0.03%?
Avatar f tn Depending on how far along you are in your pregnancy will you notice a difference. The prenatal vitamins they say help with hair growth, however I believe its more hormonal changes within you. When you notice your hair growing you will also notice your nails growing faster than usual. I have been taking prenatal vitamins for only 3-4 wks... I would say its more hormonal changes than the vitamins, for myself atleast.
Avatar f tn Maybe i need to cut my hair nd then see wat happens cause my hair has gotten shorter up top from me having a mohawk at one point nd it broke my hair off in the middle
Avatar f tn When did your hair start to grow? I'm very anxious to have my hair long again...
Avatar f tn If you take prenatal vitamins they are rich in folic acid and B vitamins which are great for your baby and have a side effect of increasing your hair growth rate as well as its thickness. Also they will increase the growth rate of your fingernails and skin cells. Many women who are not pregnant take prenatal vitamins to help with thinning hair, weak fingernails, or skin problems.
Avatar f tn Didn't think that your hair was supposed to grow faster I just thought that you didn't lose as Much hair due to it shedding

9263335 tn?1403463032 Is it true that your hair grows faster when pregnant? I'm 21 weeks+4days & I've been wanting to cut my hair because it's damaged & has split ends (awful I know) but my hair grows super slow. It took me over a year and a half to grow my hair out, it's down to my butt crack haha I love having it long but once I'm out of the shower my hair looks like a hair ball all tangled up. It takes me one hour to comb through it once it's dry.
Avatar f tn How many of yall ladies hair grew while being pregnant? My mother tells me my hair should start growing more now but nope I still have short hair :\ seems like the only places I'm growing hair is where I don't want to lol.
Avatar f tn Ok so im Africian American & Cambodian (50% mixed) & I'm 15weeks I tried to grow my hair for 6months but for the last 7weeks my hair grow 6inches .. & my legs and arm hairs been growing crazy . Has Anyone Else Hair Grew ??
Avatar f tn It's normal for these things to start happening following menopause due to testosterone. You can get help with this, however, by visiting a doctor and being prescribed certain hormones.
Avatar m tn I lost a probably about 45% but luckily it thinned all over. the only part I had to hide was a receding hair line in the front (Like my dad has) So I didn't put my hair up and just combed long hair over for a while. I have been done with treatment for a couple months now..and my hair, (while still thinned out) is a completely different texture then it was on treatment. I noticed within a few weeks after tx the shine was back and it did not look so dead anymore.
Avatar m tn Does Arimidex effect hair growth? I finished chemotherapy on August 24 and my hair has not quite grown in yet.
7136384 tn?1390142888 s because of your prenatal vitamins. They help hair and nail growth. And the idea about it being a boy because you have a lot of extra hair, could be true. Before I got pregnant I just had peach fuzz on my tummy and now it looks darker and longer, and I'm having a boy. But yet again, I shave my arm pits and legs a lot more than usual. Also your pubic hair will probably begin to grow so much you can't keep up with it.
Avatar f tn Have u tried the gummies?
Avatar f tn Has anyone else had hair growth on their belly? Ever since I got pregnant my belly is super duper hairy, like grossly hairy. And thick too. I don't want to shave or wax cause I don't want it to come back even thicker but I'm starting to get self conscience cause its really gross! Will it go away?

Avatar f tn My arm hair and leg hair seems to grow back super fast it's annoying. Anyone feel me on this ?
Avatar f tn I am a young female with PCOS. The initial complaint that I brought to my doctor was experiencing hair growth on my face, excess hair growth on my arms/legs/bikini, and hair loss on my head. I've since begun laser hair removal on my face and arms, but I am about 4 treatments in (24 wks) and am not noticing results. It is becoming more and more difficult to hold my head high- many days I don't even want to be seen in public.
7591449 tn?1395871407 My hair has gotten crazy long & thick & I'm tired of flat ironing it is it safe to get a perm I'm 34w6d
Avatar n tn ive gone through laser hair removal but hair growth near the chin is still the same...wht should i do consult a gynaec or a dermatologist?
Avatar m tn As you can see from the title of this post (I believe that) I have excessive hair growth all over my body and I am concerned about the rate of growth. Obviously I have the normal male pattern body hair growth (including shoulders/back). However, in the last year I have had a lot of hair growth on my inner forearms and now my biceps, it appears to be spreading, getting thicker and longer. The hair on my body is dark and thick, therefore it is easy visable.
