Common Questions and Answers about Best diet and exercise plan

diet

Avatar f tn m afraid my new diet plan is not helping. I now eat alot of fruits and veggie and only have one serving of meat a day (usually a chicken cutlet the size of my palm). I run almost every alternate day and cycle occasionally. The average distance I run each time is between 5km to 7km; sometimes 8km on a good day. I usually complete my 5km runs in 40-45 minutes. Do you think I need to increase my meat intake to build more muscles so I can burn off more fat?? Thank You.
Avatar f tn if anyone knows ways to get me motivated and/or an exercise plan that I could start off at and gradually increase please tell me. can anyone help!?
Avatar f tn Implementing a healthy diet and exercise program should bring some results, even if small ones, at first. Every ounce/pound lost, is motivation to keep trying to lose another ounce/pound. If you're not eating too much and are getting adequate exercise, I strongly urge you to see your doctor and get checked for some medical issues that can really make losing hard, but once diagnosed can be easy to treat.
5795376 tn?1374425183 Helloooo. I am 20 year old female, weighing 154 lb at 5'3in. I am very inactive, although this week I have started exercising for about an hour a day (football/jogging/playing frisbee). I still have not changed my diet, since I have no idea how to go about it. I want to lose a lot of weight, I'm unhealthy and unhappy. Anybody have any advice on how to eat/exercise? Thanks.
Avatar n tn Eliminate sodas and other sweet drinks (including diet drinks) and make water your drink of choice and exchange white bread and regular pasta for the whole grain varieties. Use brown rice instead of white rice. Make sure you get some exercise since exercise builds muscle and muscle burns fat. Any type of exercise will do, as long as it's something you enjoy and will stick with.
Avatar f tn Does any1 have a healty diet plan and exercise plan 4 me im 12 weeks pregnant and a bit overweight. I dont want to add unnecessary extra weight.
Avatar m tn I am basically posting to see if what I am saying is true, do you indeed need a diet plan tailored to you and an exercise program tailored to your specific needs? Thanks in advance.
Avatar f tn I cut out sodas, processed foods and sugars and started eating more veggies and fruits and it has worked wonders.
885701 tn?1279125728 We try to lose weight using sound weight loss principals - proper diet and moderate exercise. Avatar f tn ) I have a mini stair stepper, a treadmill, dumbells, 2 exercise balls (one is medium sized and prickly, and the other is slightly bigger and smooth), and an adjustable exercise bench. I really don't know where to start between the stretching, lifting, cardio, yoga, etc; along with diet and nutrition. Oh and I have a yoga mat. I think I may still have my stretchy resistance bands. I don't have health issues that would hold me back.
Avatar f tn Is it possible to reverse hypo with diet and exercise? And once you start meds is it possible to not need them in the future?
Avatar f tn A healthy nutrition plan is the very first thing you should start with. Stay away from sugars and starches, eat plenty of veggies especially the greens, get plenty of lean protein in your diet like chicken breasts, most fish, lean pork tender loin, and very lean red meat. Exercise daily if possible. Even if only 10-15 minutes a day, don't think that because you can't spend a ton of time exercising that it's a waste of time. Any exercise at all is better than none.

Avatar f tn the majority of that loss was in the first 3 months. diet is the best way. exercise is important for over all health, but overweight people generally see the biggest results come from changes in diet. i drink only water. i cut out burgers almost completely...i've had 3 this year. last year, i had 2 or 3 or 4 a week! cut out a lot of simple carbs and replaced it with complex carbs and protein. diets produce results, but ultimately learning to eat properly is the way to go.
Avatar n tn can anyone suggest the best meal plan for the whole day.....im male 21 trying to lose weight and have chronic sinusitis. trying to main tain as healthy lifestyle as possible...feel free to suggest what i should avoid or any exercise.
Avatar f tn Hello there, If you haven't already discussed a weight loss plan with your family doctor and an exercise plan, it really is a good idea to do this. Your doctor knows your medical history. You and your doctor can discuss how to lose the weight safely, a possible food plan and ideas for exercising, perhaps just walking as walking is one of the best exercises you can do. Good luck with all of this.
764218 tn?1234569759 One of the reasons that it works so well is that the side effects are a very distasteful reminder of overindulging in too much fat in the diet. The plan also works hand in hand with good nutrition and exercise, which is the tried and true method of choice with or without Ali. All that being said, I also think that you should give some heartful consideration to the comments of twehner5. At 5'6" and 132 pounds, you are on the low end of the BMI scale.
Avatar f tn I am 38 and I am here to tell you once you are past 30 the pounds seem to just pile on overnight. Is there any tips that anyone can offer to help build up my metabolism and jump start my diet plan?
Dog Hi, I would look at diet to help lose weight and exercise to help tone your body. I recommend to others to get their weight under control before trying much more than walking so as to not stress your knees. Control your diet and as your weight drop slowly increase your physical activity. Remember to get a good overall work out as that will help overall toning and as your metabolic rate rises it will also help with losing weight. Good luck.
