zantac and headache

I've just started taking zantac, and I don't know if I'll have any side effects, or if my regular symptoms (stomach pain, upset stomach) will become apparent or come back. My question is this; if I get nauseous, stomach pain, upset stomach etc. as a side effect or other, can I take tums to calm my stomach down? Or will it just make things worse? I can't talk to my doctor because (a) don't have an appointment and (b) am too young to drive there or get an appointment myself.

Im 32wks today and suffering from really bad headaches and acid reflux! Has anyone had this?

ve had terrible heartburn and headaches. My doctor said to take Zantac or any otc preventative heartburn need. She said to only take Tylenol for a headache and only when it's really bad.

I take 40 mg of prilosec a day and it works amazing

Has anyone taken zantac during pregnancy for heartburn? I'm 22+5 and have heartburn almost every other day. Sometimes it's so bad that I just want to sleep so i don't feel it.

I ran out of the 75 mg of zantac but I have equate 150 mg its the same thing as zantac but just the.generic brand. Is it ok to take that?

I was given a 2 week course of Zantac to be taken morning and evening for two weeks. Immediately after taking them, I felt good and a lot of the troubles I have been having with my mouth(white spots on tongue, sore throat) disappeared. Then, on the fourth day, it all returned with a vengeance. Sore throat, dry cough, white coated tongue, and since then has only gotten worse. I stopped the Zantac after about 12 days and on that day my neck started to ache like crazy.

After month upon month of frustration, the wife goes and buys hubby some extra strength Zantac and within three hours he was wanting a cheeseburger. When the doctors came in that afternoon I asked them to give it a try. After a bit of condescending attitude on the doctor's part, he said, well, it can't hurt her so if that's what you want we will give it a try. It has now been a week since she was released from the hospital and so far, so good.

t know names of medicine but u could try lemon, honey and garlic tea for the sinus headache. The garlic should clear it up. Heartburn I eat tums but it doesn't always work :( A warm rag on ur forehead could probably help ur fever and even a headache. If ur google natural ways to get over sinus headaches or fevers while pregnant u should find a lot of suggestions. Just giving u different options since ur doctor's not helping.

t really explore the stomach issue at all so I went to the clinic and the doctor there told me to take zantac and see what happens. The symptoms gradually went away and three weeks ago I stopped taking the zantac and everything was fine. Doing some research I found that I might have a hiatal hernia but I have not had a chance to get tested due to holiday traveling.

s been almost a week since my procedure and beginning the new meds. I have had an increasingly severe headache and dizziness on standing since I got home from the procedure with hot flashes, night sweats and also a low-grade fever last night. Could my symptoms be a result of one of the medicines or combinations?

Can you please tell me if you can take Nexium 40mg. and Zantac 75mg. together or on the same day. My GI doctor has me on Nexium 40mg. and my PCP wants me to take Zantac 75mg. at night before I go to bed. Is it safe, and can I take it with Xanax 1mg. I have GERDS and Barrett's Esophagus. And they both think it mjght be causing these little pinpoint pimples in my mouth, tongue, and throat.

t zantac but it is the same ingredient you drop it in a half cup water and it foams up and you quickly drink it. It is OTC. If zantac is safe this should be too. Thanks so much. Also i read that taking any antacid like tums and rolaids can have a reaction with the prozac. Is this true i was too scared to try Tums.

can you take imodium and prilosec OTC or zantac to get rid of opiate withdrawals?

Its not uncommon for your sickness to return after it had went away, you can take tylenol for your headache and tums or zantac or a liquid antacid for your heartburn.

Go pick up zantac 150 or 75 mg. If 75 mg take 1 pill twice daily and then take tums as needed. Zantac should prevent the heartburn but if it doesnt work on occasion take tums (i normally take 4 extra strength tums or 2 ultra strength at a time) I was prescribed zantac 75 mg twice a day with my first baby and told to take tums if for some reason zantac doesnt help so its perfectly safe!

I have had horrible heartburn since my second trimester. I'm 36 weeks now. Every night no matter what I do it never fails. Zantac and milk are life savers! Also, I've never heard of heartburn being linked to preeclampsia.

Zantac Ranitidine (150mg), antacid zellox-II, Zecuf, antibiotic (cephalexin), paracetamol, and cough syrup. This is when problem occurred. I started to experience soft light yellow stool (very little as i didn't eat much), diarrhea (>3 times, little too) , indigestion, nausea, and bloat. I started to get worried and didn't take the medicine for the time being. Please advise me what to do now. Thanks in advance.

Well i finally broke. Im not big on medication. I only take it if its medically necessary. I won't even take tylenol for a headache. But this acid reflux is killing me. Feels like my throat is going to be burned beyond repair. Ugh. Got prescribed nexium. I start it tomorrow morning. Hopefully it helps because Im miserable. I made it to 33weeks without medication but i just can't suffer any longer.
