Right breast nipple pain

Common Questions and Answers about Right breast nipple pain

breast

Avatar m tn Hi, If you have no other symptoms like nipple discharge, skin changes in the breast or nipple area, any lump, any inversion of the nipple etc,I doubt that it could be a sign of breast cancer. This pain could be caused by hormonal changes.Try to avoid caffeine (chocolate coffee, colas) and see how it goes.If the pain still persists you will need to schedule an appointment and see your physician for a clinical evaluation. Take care and best wishes...
3112530 tn?1434032033 Let me give a little background first. I have a history of DDD/DJD and have had continuous steroid shots over the years. My last steroid shot was Nov. 2012. I noticed my right breast was enlarged and the nipple was somewhat painful. I had a mammogram done and it showed negative. The nipple pain has somewhat decreased but the breast is still enlarged. My doctor said he can do some 'minor surgery' or something like that. What type of procedure would be required here?

Avatar n tn Has anyone had a problem with burning and pain around the nipple area of their breast? I have had pain for about a year, it started out as a light pain that would come and go, then it was more frequent. For like the last 3 weeks my breast feels like it is on fire and the pain is unbearable. Even to have the seatbelt rub it brings me to tears. To explain be example I say it feels like something is tearing the skin and trying to climb out of my nipple. It is just horrible.

Avatar f tn I'm a 40 yr old female. I had a mammogram two weeks ago as a baseline and turning the big 40. It came back negative for malignancies., but said I had dense breast which can hide small abnormalities. My dr and the radiologist says starting now to have one every year. I have occasional pain in my right breast that comes and goes. Not sure if it's realated to periods. My dr said if he keeps up call her in 2 months. Im having it now, my period is due in 1-2 weeks.
Avatar n tn I have been having pain in my right breast for about a year now. The pain seems to be on the side near my arm and hurts when I press on it or stretch my arm out. I had a Mammo in January followed by and ultrasound due to that area being dense. The ultrasound found a couple of cysts but nothing more. The pain seems to be worse lately so I am concerned. I went to the doctor last week and he did and x-ray of that arm but really found nothing there.
Avatar n tn t hurt but they have not gone away and they are now on my nipple also.I have pain under my right arm pit what could it be?
Avatar f tn My right nipple is extremely dry,but my left nipple is not.my right nipple,is not only dry, but,it bleeds why is that, I don't scratch it and I've been applying vasaline, what's wrong with my nipple, will it be able to create milk,or will it just be my left breast, that will produce.Or should I be asking my gyn doctor.
Avatar m tn So I have a pain in my left breast, localized to the nipple. It is very tender. It also leaks a clear sticky fluid. The fluid drainage has been getting worse. Although it will only leak it I squeeze my nipple. I went to the doctor and he said I have gynecomastia, but then I went back with the same pain and he decided to give me a blood test. I have pain frequently throughout the day with my nipple. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

Avatar f tn The issueright now is very complex. I have right breast pain specifically near the nipple area but my main concern is i have a lump there. According to my knowledge i've always had this lump underneath and near my nipple for as long as i can remember. maybe 7-8 years. i always thought it was normal just being there near the nipple. Now the problem is, i have a little bit of pain there when i touch my right nipple region where the lump is at.
Avatar f tn Never in the 14 years have I ever had sick pain like I do now in the past year. 2 weeks before my period both of my breast swell up and get dark blue rings around the nipples. They hurt so bad that I can't sleep and it even hurts into my armpits. Not sure what it could be. I haven't been on birth control.fir 6 or 7 years now and need some insight!
Avatar n tn I have had a pain under my rib cage on the right side for over a year now and have had ultrasound done on all my internal organs that showed no abnormalities. A fairly recent mammogram also shoed up as normal. Just in the last 2 weeks I now have a ridge that looks like a vein that runs from under my rib cage up to the top of my right nipple. It is alos painful. It is totally visible and is connected to the pain under my ribs. I am concerned about Breat Cancer.
Avatar f tn m 10 weeks and my boobs are so sore and on top of that I have a shooting pain going right through my nipple. To help ease this I sleep with a sports bra on it might help you a little.
Avatar m tn The last two months around the time I would ovulate, my right breast nipple hurts incredibly and has changed shape. Does this happen normally to women my age? I have sharp pain in my breast and it is much worse when I take off my bra.
Avatar n tn I don't think the wait will make any difference except for your discomfort. This could be something involving the milk ducts or the Mongomeries glands since it is causing you pain. Pain is rarely associated with Breast Cancer. I don't know how long you intend to wait to see a Dr. but for your own comfort and peace of mind I would do so as soon as possible. It wouldn't matter whether you see your GYN or your Primary Care Physician. Regards ....
