The pills should be started at least 5-7 days before the scheduled/expected period date for them to effectively prevent periods from starting. Take these pills till you wish to postpone periods. The periods usually start within 5-7 days of stopping the pill intake. Visit your gynecologist for further clarification and assistance. It may be a little u safe if you had C-section.. I know somebody who had to have an abortion because she had C-section and babies were going to be sp close together.. She could've ruptured on the inside.
Don't worry. I've had this before, it's normal to have some periods close together. If this happens every month it may be good to research. But if it's not often it's fine.

Till we were living together, we used to have sex around 2-3 times every day, and at least once during her periods (except for day 1 and 2).
