Menopause periods close together

Common Questions and Answers about Menopause periods close together

period

Avatar f tn I am currently going through menopause and I also had an Ablazen.so my question is why am I having my periods close together? thank you.
Avatar f tn My periods have been stable the last few months but I usually have either normal or too close together periods. Maybe the meds will help but I think I have thyroid probs more on the hyperside but because I'll have an abnormal test but then a normal test, the abnormals are being considered flukes. Any ideas/suggestions. I'm so tired of chasing my tail.
16921377 tn?1452396949 if you are having any kind of bleeding, it is still having periods. Menopause is simply when they stop coming.
Avatar n tn I do not always have periods this close together, just occasionally. I have an ultrasound and gyn appointment, but it isn't until May 1 and I am worried. Thank you for any help you can offer.
Avatar n tn Skipping periods, prolonged periods, spotting, periods closer together, heavier, lighter....everything is possible during this stage of life. Be thankful that you're having this rest from periods right now! :) You'll likely still have another one. I've gone 3 months, then 6 and even almost a full year and gone back to them again. Now, I'm constantly spotting and have gone through testings for it.
Avatar f tn Maybe I will be the lucky one with not having to go through irregular periods, hot flashes, abnormal bleeds, etc and just go into menopause lol ! I’m already close to being 4 months with no periods only a week and a half to go and it will be 4 months. I feel great too!!!
Avatar f tn I was wondering because i no longer have my periods if i can produce healthy eggs to have a baby with my current husband who has no children. We have been together for 13 years and we would like to have a child together. Please help.
Avatar f tn I am 45 years old this year and my period is over a week late! I don't think I'm pregnant and my periods are usually much closer together if anything. I'm sort of freaking out. I read that it's common to have longer times between periods, but I have never in my life been this late (unless I was pregnant of course). Is anyone else experiencing this at my age? I thought I was a bit too young to be either missing periods or being this late.
1303966 tn?1296740010 I was told I have Adnomyosis. I'm not in pain, with the exception of a sharp pain here and there. I have periods too close together, not something I'm loving. Doctor wanted to give me shot, but good thing I refused these. I have complicated migraine and complex seizures. This shot would not have been a good choice for me. I had a biopsy of my uterus and was fine. I have enlarged uterus and abnormal, irregular periods. What can I do besides get a hysterectomy?
Avatar n tn Mostly periods are regular, but are extremely heavy and I have had some irregular periods as well, meaning close together. But they are definitely "periods", at least they seem that way. I had hot flashes for a few months about 2 years ago, and have never had any again. One year ago my FSH indicated I was not menopapusal. Now FSH is 34 and I was told the other day that my uterine lining is 9mm, so my gyn did endemetrial biopsy.
Pig Hi there, menopause starts closer to 50. It is rare to have any decline in periods in the 30's and early to mid 40's. I'm in my late 40's and have yet to see much difference. But I'm looking for changes. I suspect they will come in the next few years. My sister at 52 is also not in menopause as of yet. Menopause is different for each woman and is accompanied by several different things besides just one's period stopping.
979826 tn?1389036358 ok i know this is a strange question coming from me, but how early can menopause come?
Avatar f tn When my daughter turns 1 I'll have 4 months left till birth due July 9th. (: I love th fact they will be close in age god bless you hun.
Avatar n tn It may be a little u safe if you had C-section.. I know somebody who had to have an abortion because she had C-section and babies were going to be sp close together.. She could've ruptured on the inside.
Avatar f tn So how can you tell the difference between peri menopause and MS? I have been complaining about dry and painful vagina for couple of years. OB/GYN gave me a short prescription and ran blood tests. All came back with normal hormones so she refused to refill the scrip and told me not PM but probably just aging and now i am putting pieces together. About 2 years ago I lost about 1/3 to 1/2 the hair on my head in about a month. Just coming out everywhere.
Avatar f tn I have good volume of hair and have a normal hair fall when i wash, not more. But i have been facing irregular periods since a year.. i get my periods after 4 months.. so do u still feel it may be pre-menopause?? I have heard that menopause starts between 45-50 yrs of age. I am only 38.. so is it possible that i may be having early menopause?? does that mean that even if i get married now i may have probs in bearing children?? I am really worried. plz assist.
1211850 tn?1266934968 Pre-Menopause on treatments. Ladies, what effects do the meds have on your time of the month? Especially, the period before your period?
Avatar f tn Hello. I am a 34yo with a past history of hodgkins lymphoma(almost 10 years ago) and currently hypothyroidism for which i take 75mcg of Levothyroxine daily. I was told by my oncologist that fertility would not be an issue. My husband and I stopped contraception (condoms) over a year ago and I have never used anyother type of contraception my whole life. We have been activey trying for about 5 months to no avail.
Avatar f tn I ALWAYS recommend a pregnancy test! That is the most common reason for missed periods. If that is not an issue however ( most women going through menopause would rather die! ) it can be very normal to have prolonged cycles at this time of life. I often give my patients the rule of thumb, too little bleeding is OK; too much is not. In other words, the periods can become lighter, shorter and further apart, but should not be heavier, closer together or prolonged.
Avatar n tn I am 40,Never in my life ihad a problem,my periods were always on time, but this is since 4 mnths my periods are irregular, this time my periods have continued for a month, still not stopped,i went to gyn,she put me on provera,it didnt wrkd,no w she put me on yasmine, light birth control pills, its been 3 days, still i am bleeding, she have told me once period stops come for biopsy.i am worried losing lot of blood is not good.pl suggest me any cure for this.
Avatar n tn Long periods do go hand and hand with menopause. Unfortunately menopause isn't something that appears one day it is a long process. For approx. 7 years I was on the road to menopause. It began with irregular periods, several periods in a month, periods that lasted anywhere from 1-8 weeks. It was not a fun time in life at all. There were several times when I went as long as 8 months without a period...only to kick back in regular as clockwork. Talk about disappointing.
Avatar n tn For many, this cessation of menstrual periods will represent permanent menopause but a minority will have return of menstruation either regular or irregular in the future.I have read that some women restarted menstruation 2 years or more after completing Chemotherapy. I am also glad to know that you finished all your treatments and I wish you continued good health! :) Take care...
Avatar n tn Fibroids are supposed to shrink after menopause (menopause = no periods for 1 year or more), so if you can hold out and wait for that, you should not have to have the uterus removed (no uterus might reduce the ability to have orgasm). Can the fibroids be removed or can your gyn do an ablation procedure instead? Removing both ovaries will end the cyst problem from reocurring (often if one gets a cyst, the other will get cystic in the future).
Avatar f tn The past 5 months, nothing, no psm at all but still getting regular periods. Could it be menopause or perrimenopause setting in. 47 yrs old. Good health.
Avatar f tn I have friends say that it might be early menopause, something that justs happens sometimes during periods or even cancer. I dont know what to think or believe. Can you help me understand what this is?
