Avatar f tn Okay, so the past four-ish days I have been experiencing the cramps I normally get right before my period (today, twice time there was a brown discharge when I wiped). I just ended my period on Sunday, so I know I am not getting it again, I haven't had sex since my last period, so I know I am not pregnant. I am really confused, my periods are ALWAYS regular, so that does not have to do with it.
Avatar n tn immediately after that my periods stopped for about 3 months.this situation continued till i was 16.after that i had periods every month and the gap was 34-36 days.once or twice it also became 24-30 days.i have heavy bleeding and periods lasts from 6-7 days.during those days i feel very weak and irritated.i also sometimes feel a bit nauseated.please help.
Avatar n tn Im 30 and I have my periods at least twice a month, this month its been three times. THe first time I have it, its normal. THe second and third is weird. NOt the right color, kinda chunky, just not right. Ive been on the pill for almost a year and I really dont have any stress in my life. Any ideas what this could mean? Some people said early menapause, I hope not, cause I want more children. Other people said something about if you had a lapscopy?

Avatar f tn I know of another Cushing's person with periods that are horrid - she gets them twice a month. An idea... And you need not have every symptom to have Cushing's either. I also had low iron. But I did have PCOS and endometriosis and lots of other things.
Avatar n tn He prescribed me luestrin 24(sp) and it has almost fixed the problem, in feb and march I will got the periods twice a month but they were much shorter. The gyno advised me that it can take 3 months to correct the cycle, well I am on my third month so we will see. My 'placebo period was very weird this month, lasted about 2 days and there was minimal to no cramping. Altho my breasts are sore as hell and I feel like I am going to get it again soon, even tho I just had it 10days ago...
Avatar f tn Im a woman (32 yrs old) and beginning Feb I started to loss my hair (currently lest that half of what I use to had). Also menstrual periods have change to 2 or 3 times a month. Avatar f tn If you had sex after your last two periods, being 10 days late could be a pregnancy. As you are not able to take a urine specimen to a pharmacist or do a home pregnancy test, it is difficult to say whether you are pregnant or not. If you normally have regular periods every month, it is only when you have missed 2 months that the chances of a pregnancy is very high and probable.
Avatar n tn Now it’s more than 35 days. Today’s it’s 3 july and I didn’t get my periods. I ate a lot of pastries, cakes, lots of sweet stuff and non veg diet last month and had gained 2 kg. Earlier my weight was 45 and I came home and gained 2 kgs. I have a history of hormonal imbalances. I get cystic acne on my face everytime my hormones get disturbed. Doctor told me that my hormones fluctuate a lot but I have never missed my periods before. This is the first time.
Avatar n tn I am horrified by this because I told her that her periods can be sporatic and this could happen for a few months with or without periods. Was I wrong?? Now she is scared and said she does not want to see a dr or be touched. shes a healthy girl and active.. What i want to know is. .. This is normal right ? Bleeding off and on like that? I always thought so. and I didnt make a big deal out of it. until her father said she was too young and something is wrong.
Avatar f tn This is why if a female fails to ovulate one month she doesn't have a menstrual cycle and is also why a female can become pregnant even if she doesn't ever have a period. Hi, basically my periods were irratic since coming of the pill but in the past 4 months they have regulated down to pretty much the day. Then last time I came on I was 2 weeks late.. Probably I imagine down to work stress. But now a week after i stopped my period.
Avatar n tn I had an average pregnancy and birth... the typical menstrual women I guess. All of a sudden, the last 3 months have been between 17 to 21 day cycle... Could I be in perimenopause at 36?
Avatar n tn That was the problem. I had forgotten a tampon a -month- ago. If you are having this problem go check that first. Terribly embarrassing but a major relief to know that's what it was.
929504 tn?1332589534 I have irregular periods more than reg. they go from not at all to twice a month from heavy to barely there. I never know what to expect or when to expect it and it gets old! I am hypo. and also on synthroid 150 mcg and dealing with an endo that focuses on just my TSH and yes its so aggravating but hopefully after voicing my opinion today she may check the others as well :) ! Anyways good luck and again your not alone here!
Avatar f tn I found out almost 4 weeks ago that my Prolactin level is 25, had an MRI done and started Bromocriptine at that time. Before all of this I had a menstrual cycle every month pretty regularly but did have horrible cramps and heavy bleeding. I guess what I'm wondering is since my cycles were pretty normal already will the Bromocriptine be enough to get me pregnant? I was also wondering about how many weeks of the Bromocriptine will be enough to lower the Prolactin levels enough for conception.
Avatar f tn Hello, Painful menstrual periods and spotting can be due to post tubal ligation syndrome, adenomyosis (bought on by uterus muscle and tissue being damaged, effected by the TL surgery impairing the blood supply to areas of that organ/muscle) or by retro bleeding backing into the sealed fallopian tubes. You may need an ultrasound or CT abdomen done to rule out all these conditions.
Avatar n tn I have not had a period since Aug, except twice and that was with the help of Provera. Month after month gets frustrating. Best of Luck to you!!
Avatar f tn It would happen once or twice a month, in the middle of my menstrual cycle, and would last 2-3 days. The blood was light brown in color. After this happened a couple times, I went to see a gynecologist. When I described it to her, she said it was normal and that it was because I was ovulating, and that it may have been caused by stress. She told me not to worry about it and to come back if it persisted for a few more months.
Avatar n tn my cycle was very crazy when i wasnt on this shot. the bone marrow biopsy is a good idea to see if your daughter is producing a adequate amount of platelets. i had one done and i was producing enough. this will also help the dr confirm th blood disorder of ITP.
Avatar n tn Is it true that the depo shot can make you have a period every two weeks in a month?? Is it also true that it can make you so you can't get pargent after going off of it??
Avatar n tn I am 23 now and since then I have had heavy clotting and periods and sometimes I have my period for a month or more at a time. My doctor tells me nothing appears to be wrong but the lengthy - heavy periods are a major pain... Anyone who is curious I highly recommend staying off of the depo shot...
Avatar n tn I have had 7 pregnancies and 6 m/c. (We have a beautiful, healthy 22 month old boy.) I found out a month later I was pregnant again. Apparently I had gotten pregnant 2 weeks later. I am now 28 weeks. The thought of losing this one is always in the back of my mind, but my doctor says not to worry about it. The stress won't be good for the baby. I will keep you in my prayers. I know exactly how you feel. But things will look up.
Avatar f tn I am hesitant to do this, though, because my fiance and I are not all that sexually active at the moment (maybe once or twice a month) and I don't want to mask any potential underlying problems. My main fear is PCOS, but I'm not sure how much of that is reasonable, and how much of it is paranoia because a friend was recently diagnosed. I do have a history of diabetes in my family (and I know there's a correlation between that and PCOS) and I am quite a bit overweight (5'6" - 195lbs).
Avatar n tn I have experienced what you describe - acute pain and cramps, bloating, dizziness, cold sweats, nausea, tendency towards panic attacks or simply feelings of paranoia, fainting, and a disfuntional digestive tract. The really acute attacks of the pain, cold sweats, fainting, dizziness, and nausea lasted only minutes but were completely debilitating during those few minutes; then afterwards I felt ... well...
Avatar n tn almost a month later tho, i had a miscarriage..while i was pregnant, i got my period a week after finding usually lasts 7 days, but this time it only lasted 5..then i had vaginal bleeding that wasn't doc said it was most likely implantation bleeding and she was scared that i mite miscarry..wen i did research on what implantation bleeding was, it said that its most likely wen the walls of your uterus aren't as soft as they should be..
