lump above ribs

mine is a more direct pain on a small lump beside another smaller lump to the left above my belly button and below my ribs, closer to belly button. the size of the bigger one is like a peach pit maybe. it seems to hurt more at night and I can't feel it standing up.

i have a hard lump that has grown in size on my left side above my breast on my 2 nd and 3rd rib, i was told by a since the lump has been there i also have a small lump both on my neck and under my arm,doctor that it was just a rib but then told it was a lump, but not anything else, i have drenching nite sweats every niye and have breathing problems , my doctors just dont seem bothered or interested

I have a lump above my belly button with extreme pain and nausea. At times the lump isnt noticeable. But when the pain starts than I notice the lump is bigger. Also pain under my ribs.

If your belly and navel pop out and/or you feel kicks under your ribs, chances are your baby is in the anterior position, with his or her back facing your front. Confirm the above -- I did martial arts for years and got my ribs smashed a lot. Had a chiropractor who was good at putting them back in place, but a bruised anything takes a lot longer to heal than most of us think. As LightSeeker said, Xrays don't show all that much, just bones -- they don't show the soft tissue around the bones, which an MRI can show, but I think you'll be fine.

It might be that the pain comes from your back around your ribs into the cartlidge that the ribs join onto in the front of your chest right at the bottom just above the 'V' where your ribs stop above the abdomen. I had this for years and when mine gets irritated it feels like your pain and also i feel a hard lump just above the "V' in the centre of my chest about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. It's very sore and if you push on it it really hurts.

When palpating the region, I found a hard lump. It feels like bone, but the lump is above my hips and below my ribs.. and it's definitely not my spine. The pain has gotten worse, and the lump seems to be getting bigger. I am starting to notice the pain spread to my left side and abdomen, left of the belly button. It hurts to roll over in bed or do other simple tasks. The lump doesn't move at all.

Hi, I have to lump on my lower right side. Seem to be above my lower ribs towards my back. Any idea what it could me or the cause?

I have had a lot of pain in the left side of my neck and jaw, with a lump above my left side of collar bone. Pain started over 2weeks ago. But as i was waiting for my breast biopys results, doctor couldnt do anything but give me pain killers and wasnt that intrested in the lump. My breast biopys came back fine. So now i have to go back and doctor again to sort out the pain ive got. I had a ctscan in Febuary to find out how much damge ive got to my kidney due to kidney stone.

other than that i think of my self as being healthy , im a lil over weight for my height and age ,also ive noticed getting a few times was a lump on my throat right above the adams apple on the left side , it would last for about a wk or so and then dissapear on me . have no clue what it might be but it would be sore when i touched it and when i swallowed . but not inside my throat just were that lump was.

I am under a lot of stress and someone mentioned Lymph Node overload? At times the lump feels like a few little lumps and other times as one larger lump (about the size of half a grape). Does anyone know what this could be? I was also born with rheumatoid Arthritis if that helps. I am 29, female and have one child.

The only place that you have palpable, (lump that can be felt), lymph nodes are in the arm pit. above the clavicals, in the neck, and in the groin area. The rest of you nodes are inside your body. They would have to get huge to feel them. It is interesting that you have this symtom though. I haven't been able to find anyone with these exact symtoms. I do also have tender spots on my ribs. Have you had a physician determin that these were lymph nodes?

She likes to push out her little feet a lot and she gets really close to my ribs sometimes. I remember my son used to kick near my ribs a lot and it could get really painful! I get punched in the bladder too, so I feel like I'm constantly running to the bathroom. LOL!

Some weeks ago I discovered by accident a lump or mass about 2-3 inches above the navel, in the middle of the abdomen, which had no feeling if not touched, but was very tender--painful when pressed. A few days later (and since then) it was not longer tender: if pressed it doesn't hurt at all. I have no other symptoms and am very well, except the rectum often has some strange feelings, not pain, but as if the rectum was trying to open? really don't know how to describe it.

As I stopped birth control I have just got another bleed. Yesterday I noticed I have a lump - visible in mirror above my breast- it is midway in chest about 4 inches from collar bone. Hard, seems like a bulging muscle? not painful to the touch. Should I see doc now, or wait for a week or so to see if it resolves. I am about to go home for the holidays, so if it needed testing treatment I would need to cancel my holidays. thanks in advance for any advice- I am lost on this!

I have also found a very painful lump on the left side near the bottom of my ribs. Also on that side under my breast is very sore. Anyone have any ideas?

So I am 34 weeks and 3 days & I always get a cramping feeling just above my ribs . You can say in between my breast and ribs. It feels like I have something tight around but when I touch its from the inside. Has anybody ever felt this little pain? It could be my baby's feet kicking me But Im scared it could be pressure.

Several months ago I was laying on my back and ran my fingers over my ribs and felt a lump on my bottom rib. It is the size and shape as an egg yoke. It doesn't hurt unless I press on it (which I tend to do). I never noticed it before, but that may just be because I can only feel it when I am laying on my back and slide my hand over from my abdomen outward which I don't regularly do.

I have a pea-size lump about 2 inches above my collarbone and to the right of center on my neck. It is wedged between 2 muscles, and it is very movable. I had it checked by my GP, who told me that in her opinion it was most likely a little cyst, and not to worry about it unless it grew in size.
