This frustrates me cause it doesnt go away. I dont lose inches or weight I get bigger. Whenever this happens I stop lifting cause I dont want to get bigger. I know they say that a woman cant get bigger because she just doesnt produce the same hormones as a man but why would I be gaining mass if this were so.

I am 228 lbs although some of that is most likely from joining football and a crossfit athletic program a year ago. I would ultimately like to be more fit and more agile. You could lose probably close to half that if you eat around 1000-1200 calories a day (depending on your metabolism) and do cardio for 30-45 minutes 5 days a week. Lower body exercises also help a lot to burn calories.

Basically, any type of movement will help burn fat. It doesn't have to be a structured exercise program. If you can lift your arms and legs, and move your head and torso, you can exercise. 16 oz water bottles make excellent weights that you can lift up to stretch your arms sides and back.
