Are your having diahrrea? The bloating is probably gas, which is causing the pressure in your chest, or maybe heartburn or both. Activated charcoal capsules from the health food store can help with the pressure/bloated feeling from the gas, as well as with loose stools. Take them 2 hrs before or after meds or vitamins. You feel better after you poop because all that pressure is finally being released.
It is really difficult to comment whether the symptoms are due to vagus nerve or not. The gas, heart burn can be due to acidity or even due to GERD. It can also be due to IBS or due to Crohn’s or Celiac disease. Keep a stress diary and see if a particular food causes more gas and heart burn.
GERD symptoms are often best relieved by a combination of drugs. Talk to your doctor about it. Avoid heavy meals.
Unfortunately, pain related to the heart is not easily differentiated from chest pain or discomfort from respiratory, esophogeal, or the chest's skeletal configuration.
Even if the pain does not return tha would not indicate there is no heart problem. The cause could be the heart muscle from viral infection, medication, etc. or it could be a spasm of the coronary artery that temporarily shut off circulation of oxygenated blood, etc. Worst case scenario. You should get an evaluation.
I avoided spicy foods and food that causes gas. I took Gas-Ex from time to time when the gas pain was severe. I took Pepto Bismol when I had diarrhea and cramping. I also took over the counter acid reducers for heartburn. My recommendation is to ask for a referral right away to a gynecologist and find out what other tests should be completed to further evaluate and treat the cyst.
m home and feel the urge to poop, I kneel on my workdesk chair, I rest my elbows on the workdesk and while playing a computer game or surfing the net i fart out and then suck that gas in through the anus by contracting some *** muscles. I start getting hot and after a period of maybe 15 minutes when I start sweating I usually feel that the excrament has reached the anus and then I go poop.
My heart tends to skip beats occasionally...PVC-type episodes. It seems to be very much related to my stomach problems. When I have gas or acidy stomach, my stomach distends a bit and this seems to cause the palpitations. It feels as if the stomach is pressing on the heart and making it beat irregular. Am I crazy? Or is there some type of relationship between stomach distress and heart palpitations?

I am suffering with Gas problems for 3-4 years. Excess gas forming and much odor (bad smell) and this make me upset. I consulted with many doctors and they have given me different medications during these period. There is no stomach pain and there is no indigestion problems. There is little bit problems for Piles, and motion is not normal.
Hi all. I'm in my mid 30s. For about 10 years I've been having digestive problems which cause a high production of gas in my stomach and intestines. I've also been experiencing heart palpitations or flutters that are like extra beats that sometimes occur every other beat. The palps mostly went away years ago but recently came back.
Me being a pretty cautious dude, I searched the internet to try and solve my problems. But when I saw that it was a heart attack symptom my heart sank and I had a panic attack and felt like I was going to die. After I calmed myself down and walked home and told my mum about it. She said that i should I should wait a few days until I go to the doctor. During these days I developed very very minor chest pains, that was when I knew I needed to see a doctor.
One burst of flutters in my heart rate was literally timed with gas bubbles in my abdomen. The one I had last night wasn't.
I went to the doc 2 days ago. Had an EKG (10 seconds) and came back fine. She does not believe in a connection between the gut problems and the arrhythmia's.
She thinks the arrhythmia's are harmless and can act up more with stress.
personally i figure the gas has something to do with the heart not beating properly and the amount of oxygen in body or blood is out of whack..dunno was just always been my opinion..As far as getting it back into rhythm naturally, I tried everything you can imagine and couldnt get it to work.. I will add though that I have a friend who can go put his face in a pan or sink full of ice water when his afib starts and it usually converts him back..never worked for me...
Eating things like chocolate and even bananas can cause gas in the stomach which can irritate the vagus nerve and cause the heart to beat a bit faster or simply for us to feel our heart beating a bit faster. It is good to go and get a check up but it very well isn't anything to be too concerned about. Watch eating gas producing foods on an empty stomach. Address any acid reflux and see if it helps. For the past few days I've had pain right above my hip but its not severe and i don't have any other symptoms but I'm very scared right now because i think i have appendicitis i don't want surgery...my mom who is a nurse said that it cannot be that because the pain i describe isn't severe and that i should lay off the coffee that i drink.
