10256164 tn?1408981241 Omg girl! Breastfeeding is the way to go! Helps with immunity and development. Also breast milk produces more of any nutrients the baby is missing when he/she is born to ensure baby is getting nutrients. Did you know there is no lactose in our breast milk as there is in cows? which means naturally we are not even suppose to have anything lactose! A lot of people don't know these things. I would do some research and I guarantee you will not want to formula feed. I hope you breast feed!!
Avatar n tn Dr I just needed a clarification about having absorbed some breast milk into my broken lips if there were to be an hiv infected breast milk on the sachet water which I already had in my mouth through my broken lips or slight cut in my tongue, knowing fully well that the baby just sucked the mother's breast milk not more than few seconds before i carried him. Please Dr kindly throw a little explanation to help my worries.
Avatar f tn ve had friends with small boobs n aswell a great supply.
Avatar f tn just bc u dont grow doesnt mean u cant breast feed. My breasts got huge and i produced milk but my daughter couldnt latch on bc i have flat nipples so i pumped. after about a week of pumping i just stopped producing milk for some reason. it all depends on what ur body chooses to do.
Avatar f tn I can't wait! I've been craving sushi and moscato.
Avatar f tn take a little of the leftover milk and spread it around the nipple and let it air dry... breast milk has a lot of healing factors... Hope you feel better!!
7520331 tn?1395101988 Buy a couple Milkies I can only find them on amazon but I love them. Will never go without them. A milkie is kinda like a nursing pad but they are reusable. When you sit down to nurse or pump especially the first couple of weeks both of your boobs let down milk at the same time... sometimes a lot. The milkie doesn't soak up the milk it collects it so you can save it with your breast milk that you store for bottle feeding.
5612058 tn?1373576034 t able to produce enough milk for my son. They had me start him on a bottle in the hospital 12 hours after he was born because they said I didn't have enough for him. Mind you I still both breast and bottle for the month because I really wanted to breast feed but I just never was able to produce enough for him.
1098714 tn?1330578593 i am planning to breast feed, and pump to have milk on-hand for my husband (or family member or friend) to feed the baby with in a bottle. i am not too keen on breast-feeding in public settings, so will have breast milk on-hand when on-the-go, but if the baby needs it and i haven't prepared, i will suck it up and do it.. i found a cute nursing bib that is reversible and doesn't scream "i'm nursing!" - so will have that on-hand when away from home.

11367320 tn?1421799959 I Put It In The Fridge For Later On Till I Go To See Her But I Was Wondering For How Long Is Breast Milk Good (When U Put It in The Fridge) To Feed Your Baby?
986603 tn?1248972899 I would first of all say that you are awfully young to be on the pill. But that is just me ... If the discharge happened before you started the pill then I would see a doctor about it. I honestly don't know much about what pubescent girls go through during puberty, so I do not know if this is normal or not. If it happened after the pill then definitely see a doctor.
Avatar n tn Alot of people are saying that right now since im starting to produce my milk that my husband should be sucking on my boobs that it helps with the producing of milk. Is it true or not?
Avatar f tn I would not recommend pumping before your milk supply comes after the baby is born it could cause you to go into preterm labor. I'm having my second and after my first I never stopped lactating even when I stopped breastfeeding. I still would leak collosum (don't know if that is spelled right) especially when he would cry.
Avatar f tn Lol thats how my bf is he's like you better hope your milk come in when baby gets here I'm like shut up please !
Avatar n tn Almost everyone is allergic to cow's milk. That's why mammals breast feed. When you don't or can't breast feed, one thing missing is the immune system building colostrum found in early breast milk. No formula is healthy -- they are just the best we can do sometimes.
Avatar f tn I knew you could leak colostrum but I didn't know you could produce milk while pregnant.and.
Avatar f tn It is not known how long thc stays in the milk so pumping may or may not work. Either way its not worth the risk. If you are going to take anything in harmful to your baby u should not breastfeed and switch to formula. Good luck.
7058746 tn?1393435420 her everyday shes in the nicu she started eating thru the tube so if u want save or donate it to the hospital :)
Avatar f tn My pediatrician thinks feeding him both formula n breast milk is the way to go ok so finally my question..lol will my milk supply dry up if I don't pump unyil tomorrow? Hugs, AP Ps how r u feeling?
4402433 tn?1354180698 I know that but a lot of people dont leak at all and go on to breast feed...
Avatar n tn What did you all ladies go through? Its getting difficult to was under the boobs. The skin has become rough and itchy under my boobs. Any help or suggestions to alleviate the problem please.
Avatar n tn hello teak & lizzie lou,are you sure that 2 or 3 drops of breast milk can't transmit hiv. i have 2 encounters where small amount of breast milk is in my mouth. i immediately split it. i have gum problem, but at that time i did not see any active bledding in my mouth. apart this i did 2 condom protected vaginal sex encounter for 1 or 2 minutes. i did not notice any breakage of condom. no other sexual activity. what is my risk for hiv? should i tested? please answer it.
Avatar f tn But I know the cream you put on your breast when it hurts or sore works like wonders!
Avatar f tn I still had to extract the milk from the breast. Luckily the poultices and antibiotics the doctor gave me got rid of the infection. So in answer to your question, it is not normal for breastfeeding or non breastfeeding women to have anything appear like that on their nipples. Glad to hear that it is easy off.
