anxiety

Avatar f tn Most of the time people with anxiety attacks get them because of stress so anything that will help you relax can help build up stress and prevent attacks.
Avatar n tn i started getting anxiety attacks 6 months ago. i thought at first it had to do with my drinking. but i have not drank since december. now im always in a state of anxiety to the point where sometimes during exercise my heart would start to palpitate. is there anyone else that this happens to?
Avatar m tn Your reactions are quite normal. Caffeine is a stimulant and when suffering from anxiety/panic attacks it would be best to avoid coffee but most of all those Energy drinks. Remember if you read about them they cause individuals who do not even suffer from anxiety to feel fast heart palpitations..basically I think they are poison for your body. Stay away from them. However when it comes to coffee you have to be the judge of that.
9336631 tn?1403673169 I've suffered from anxiety /panic attacks for years. As time goes on you learn how to deal with it. Cut off caffeine like coffee, tea, and certain kinds of pop, this induces panic/anxiety. Try to breathe calmly. You have to find a way that best suits you to remain as calm as possible. Personally I like goin outside for fresh air. Different things work for different people.
1330691 tn?1275453404 m relieved because I have been having abnormal things going on with my body and doctors previously did not figure out the hep c. I just new something was not right for between 1-2 years. Panic attacks and anxiety. frequent bouts of mild-severe brain fog, that makes me feel mentally ill. So I hope I can be seen soon. waiting to find out all the info of my specific case seems to be worse than having it.
Avatar n tn I've currently been taking 15mg of lexapro for about 14 months. Works great for my panic/anxiety. However, the tiredness side effect hasn't gone away, instead it seems to be worse. I could seriously sleep all day long if I didn't have to work. I take my meds at night. I can barely get out of bed in the morning. I tried taking it in the morning but that didn't help.
Avatar f tn I can usually eliminate anxiety attacks and a lot of paranoia attacks and some bouts of depression with jogging. It works pretty quickly. I would say if you jog the first day to the point of sweat and fatigue. You will feel results. I dont get any benefit from walking. I think the aerobic value in jogging really helps. If I get the onset of those anxiety/paranoia/depression attacks, I try to hit the road. I'm working my way back up to 3-5 miles. This has worked for me many times in the past.
Avatar m tn Hi I am a 28 year old male who has never takin drugs until 3 weeks ago, I tried cannabis for the first time 3 weeks ago and had a really bad experience on it, it caused me to have panic attacks, severe anxiety I did not know where I was, I thought I was going to die.
Avatar f tn t having anxiety attacks any more because I am, but not panic attacks. Hey, the anxiety attacks are bad enough, in my opinion. That's why I wrote in. Even though my psych doctor said withdrawal symptoms of anxiety could last two weeks or even more, I'm afraid he might be wrong, that if I am still having some anxiety, especially in the morning, I might have this the rest of my life. Did I say that clear enough to understand?
Avatar m tn i had smoked weed before 3 weeks from today. But still am getting panic attacks from it. What should i do? Should i consult a doctor or ? Dont know what to do guys but am really fed up of it. . . . What to do? Please help me.
Avatar m tn I just had a big chat about it with a guy on this music forum who has anxiety attacks. And Im feeling pretty good to get it out there. Went to the gym today, had a good workout. So im feeling pretty good at the moment.
Avatar f tn I am so sorry you are going through the anxiety. I was on Paxil with all three of my pregnancies as there is no way that I could have done it without medication. None of my babies had any issues with me being on it whatsoever. Please however avoid the xanax while pregnant as it is not a safe drug at all. You need to see your doctor or even Obs and tell them how you are feeling.
Avatar m tn So what do you think is triggering the anxiety attacks? When I felt these symptoms the strongest was after the workout at the gym.
10011789 tn?1409704061 Anyone have issues with panic attacks? I had them probably 3 or 4 times in my life and never with my first pregnancy. Now with this one (having twins) I've already had 2 and I'm only 12 weeks. Both my parents take anxiety meds. I never have had to and don't want to but it's kind of scary. I'm never like stressed or thinking about anything at the time. It just suddenly hits me and I can't breath and I feel overwhelmed and trapped.
Avatar f tn I am a 40 year old woman and have been taking 20mg of prozac for the past 7 months for anxiety. I am finding it difficult to lose the last few kilos I have gained. I try and eat healthily and do moderate exercise but can't seem to shift any weight?
Avatar n tn Since then for 12 years I have suffered from anxiety, occasional panic attacks, constant worrying and hypochondria. The worst part is the hypochondria, It goes through cycles I believed at one time or another I was dying from ALS, MS, Cancer, Parkinsons and everytime I have sex with a new partner I become paralyzed by fears of std's.
Avatar m tn s and pains in my chest, i used to get them while i was in the gym, so i decided to give the gym a break for a while and now as time has gone on i still get the anxiety attacks, always think doom is on me, when i go about my daily bits. i feel dizzy and feel strange and weird, feel sick sometimes during the day but never get sick, and always burping as of the last few days.
Avatar n tn I have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks for many years now, and even though I always feel like I am dying or having a heart attack, I never do, thank God! But it still scares me each time I have had an attack, and I have been to the ER many times! I am currently taking klonopin and a beta blocker and it helps some, but I still have some panic attacks. I hope that you can fine something that will help you! Are you taking any medication?
Avatar m tn back story, 24 male, asthma as a child but grew out of it by the time I was 13. (please move this topic if its in the wrong section) I do not know what I have and I am lost, my condition seems to be getting worse with time. It all started last April, I just finished losing 27lbs for a bodybuilding competition, I still had a bad diet(would cheat and eat lots of nutella) , I wore a "new sweatshirt to the gym" last year April I almost blacked out in the gym, parents had to get me.
1553083 tn?1296232321 Sometimes there are days in a row or even a week or two where every day is filled with anxiety attacks, all of different severity but several of them per day. I'm easily set off, jumpy, startle easily during these times. Then I'll have a couple days or week where I maybe only have one minor one a day. But it definitely ebbs and flows. My psychiatrist once told me that anxiety begots anxiety and that's why it's so easy to get into a cycle of perpetual anxiety.
Avatar m tn And apart from this have no other medical problems. Also before this incident I went to the gym 2-3 times a week. I have taken cocaine and mdma several times (not since the incident) and in december, I had been taking both mdma and cocaine, and quite alot of it too, when i felt a bit tight in the left side of my chest. I suddenly had a really bad radiating pain from my chest and my head felt extremely dizzy. I thought I was having a heart attack but my friends convinced my otherwise.

Avatar f tn im 9 weeks going on 10 thursday , im 16 . and ive been having anxiety attacks too . i went to the hospital and they give you meds to calm you down . but you have to talk to your doctor about the meds.
Avatar f tn My youngest son is also in his final year of university and I can relate, through him, what you must be going through. He is fortunate that he did not (as yet) inherit any of my anxiety problems. His anxiety is totally understandable, being centered around all the finals and papers and study, his job and his boyfriend and no sleep.................but last week he came down with strep throat and went to the college infirmary. Does your college have one?
