Are you saying your menstrual month (from day 1 of one period to day 1 of the next), is now 2 weeks longer than it used to be but otherwise still regular? Or are you saying that it's adding an additional two weeks each time, such as one month it was 4 weeks and the next it was 6 weeks and then the next it was 8 weeks?
I know a lot of women have 2 periods in one month, but most of the cases I've heard about have been instances where the periods are at least a week apart. I just had my regular period and it ended two days ago. Then suddenly, i started heavy bleeding again today. Could this mean that I'm pregnant?

Multiple menstrual periods in a month are due to polymenorrhea. Polymenorrhea or bleeding from vagina more than once a month could be due to several causes such fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis, uterine polyps, hormonal imbalance, thyroid problems and bleeding disorders. It could also be due to an IUD implant if you have one or due to oral contraceptive pills. It can also be a part of severe pelvic inflammatory disorder. STDs like Chlamydia and gonorrhea too can cause this.
Hi I had my tubes tied over 2 years ago. My periods have been pretty regular until this month. My last period was May and it didnt come on until the 2nd week in august. I did spot on 2 days in august, it was very light and I had cramps like it was about to come on. It did over a week later. So here I am 12 days in and have been passing clots constantly since it came on. I have no insurance and cant afford to go to the dr. I have only been having mild cramps on and off but no pms symptoms.

iam totally confused as if i got my hormone levels normal why again they are missing? or it will take some time to regularise? or any thing else? iam 44 yrs now.

I had menstrual period for the month of May, 5 days before my menses starts. I had menstrual period last June 2011, 2 days earlier than before. On both may and june, I did not feel anything werid, nor the color, duration of the menses and how heavy it was, Now, for the month of July, I am 8 days delayed. I never had missed periods this long. and as far as i remember that May 2011 was the last time we did that.

I also for almost 2 years now have had really weird menstrual periods( very very heavy one month and very little another month) most of the time they are heavy. also during this time i have been having back pain and abdominal pain. It comes and goes, sometimes with pain and sometimes without. For the past 2 days I have been haveing quite a lot red and brown blood when i wipe or just in my panties. Anyone has any clue?
