Common Questions and Answers about Yoga video live

yoga

Avatar f tn s prenatal yoga in YouTube. Its about half an hour video and she has simplified the asanas for pregnant women. I would recommend watching and doing one asana at a time so that you get the right muscles to work on. Don't forget to ask your doctor before starting and generally its a good idea to start and end the yoga with pranayam exercises like om-vilom, for warm up and cool down. Its not part of the video but you can find them too on you tube. all the best.
Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.
Avatar f tn Does any know of a good yoga dvd or other prenatal workout video? I need to work at Zen. :) Plus I normally do a workout video & jog to stay in shape but after I found out I was prego I stopped cuz my last two pregnancies I miscarried. Avatar f tn Prenatal yoga can help a lot. Until you get to a class try some cat/cow, pigeon, and hamstring stretches. You can find lots of videos on YouTube demonstrating how to do them. I'm 22 weeks and still work out and do yoga. Have had plenty of symptoms but hardly any back pain.
Avatar f tn i dont kmow what the % is of the baby flipping but i know its possible even past 36 weeks. i know being inverted can help so spend some quality time in positions from yoga like downward dog or child's pose (alittle more relaxing) if you have regulated or certified acupuncturist where you live i would look for one who specializes in prenatal and fertility acupuncture they have points they use to flip baby with about 70% success rate.
Avatar f tn I did yoga but once your belly gets big you need to buy a prenatal yoga video that is for big bellies.

676912 tn?1332812551 I worked out using my pilates video. It's only a 20 minute video, and I made it through 15 minutes until my back hurt so bad I had to stop, but I tried!!! The more I do it the better it will get, just have to strengthen my back again, darn that anesthesiologist!

450257 tn?1268343617 You're too funny. I don't read much since ME/CFS. My vision tend to gang up with my brain to confuse me. Giggles. I bought a video by Karen Voigt (no sure I spelled her last name right), 'YOGA SCULPT". I''ve been doing it since 4 yrs ago..Very helpful to me and probably the easiest yoga stretching you'll find, not to mention it doesn't ask me go 'HUM..........HUM......HUM. Enjoy that cool a/c @ motel. !!!
4845170 tn?1369102292 I just started my third tri but since I found out I was pregnant I have done stretches as squats nearly every day, as the weather got warmer into my second I began to walk at least 3 times a week n started doing prenatal yoga for beginners but it makes me feel the best...I strongly suggest the yoga its great for repaxing n stretching and for a small amount of strengthening (if that's a word haha) I'm hoping all these things help when labor comes.
Avatar f tn I am 38+2 and been trying to kick start things and what I have been doing is bouncing on a yoga ball, lots of walking, going up and down the stairs (when going up I take them by 2) and going down I jump haha they say bumpy car ride can help (or yoga ball) and I can say in the last 2 days I have dropped significantly!
Avatar f tn I'm taking prenatal yoga classes and they are pretty good.
Avatar f tn I want to do a little something a few days a week. Is anyone doing pregnancy exercises like special Yoga, Pilates, or just taking walks? I'm not trying to break a heavy sweat, just trying to keep good blood flow to help with muscle cramps. I have a video of 15 minute aerobics workouts (abs, ***, thighs, and arms). Would it be ok to choose one of these at a time to do few times a week?
167 tn?1374173817 Have you ever noticed the guns on ladies that do yoga? Beautiful. I suggest a daily yoga practice and light cardio several times a week, and a healthy diet and you should be gorgeous by the big day. Congrats!
