Avatar f tn s prenatal yoga in YouTube. Its about half an hour video and she has simplified the asanas for pregnant women. I would recommend watching and doing one asana at a time so that you get the right muscles to work on. Don't forget to ask your doctor before starting and generally its a good idea to start and end the yoga with pranayam exercises like om-vilom, for warm up and cool down. Its not part of the video but you can find them too on you tube. all the best.
Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.
Avatar f tn Does any know of a good yoga dvd or other prenatal workout video? I need to work at Zen. :) Plus I normally do a workout video & jog to stay in shape but after I found out I was prego I stopped cuz my last two pregnancies I miscarried. But I'm finding I need some kind of outlet for my witchyness so I need a low impact workout.
Avatar f tn Anyone doing prenatal yoga and can recommend a good video? Today YouTube didn't want to load and it was irritating me, so I wanted to see I'd anyonw knows of any good videos. 1654058 tn?1407159066 Ann, me too on the shot. I didn't pull back the first 2 and then watched a video n did this time. Cyn, I saw on the video that if you were taking a reduced Peg shot amount, your Dr. would tell you what to reduce it to. So, you're prolly taking the whole thing. Me too. I was going thigh and then last week heard that belly is better. I don't let go of the fat to inject. I can barely pinch an inch n don't wanna hit muscle or a vein. What a sweetie hubbie to give it to you. Aw.

Avatar f tn Prenatal yoga can help a lot. Until you get to a class try some cat/cow, pigeon, and hamstring stretches. You can find lots of videos on YouTube demonstrating how to do them. I'm 22 weeks and still work out and do yoga. Have had plenty of symptoms but hardly any back pain.
Avatar f tn I did yoga but once your belly gets big you need to buy a prenatal yoga video that is for big bellies.
773214 tn?1295135069 I have Netflix and there was an prenatal yoga instant video that I did when I was feeling good. After I got over my sickness and before the back pain. I really liked it though and it feels really good to get all stretched and loose feeling.

4845170 tn?1369102292 I just started my third tri but since I found out I was pregnant I have done stretches as squats nearly every day, as the weather got warmer into my second I began to walk at least 3 times a week n started doing prenatal yoga for beginners but it makes me feel the best...I strongly suggest the yoga its great for repaxing n stretching and for a small amount of strengthening (if that's a word haha) I'm hoping all these things help when labor comes.
Avatar f tn I am 38+2 and been trying to kick start things and what I have been doing is bouncing on a yoga ball, lots of walking, going up and down the stairs (when going up I take them by 2) and going down I jump haha they say bumpy car ride can help (or yoga ball) and I can say in the last 2 days I have dropped significantly!

Avatar f tn I want to do a little something a few days a week. Is anyone doing pregnancy exercises like special Yoga, Pilates, or just taking walks? I'm not trying to break a heavy sweat, just trying to keep good blood flow to help with muscle cramps. I have a video of 15 minute aerobics workouts (abs, ***, thighs, and arms). Would it be ok to choose one of these at a time to do few times a week?

Avatar f tn Pre natal yoga, stationary bike, or other ellipticals. Just be careful of balance. Also hiking is what I like. Maybe try to find hiking trails around your area. We have a lot here in California.
Avatar f tn Also if you're interested in some yoga there's a free 30-day yoga challenge on doyouyoga.
Avatar f tn Absolutely! I personally avoid inversions, cause I'm don't feel stable enough and I worry I might fall. Also, keep your belly from putting pressure on it. For example, if you bend down, open your legs just a bit so your belly doesn't touch your thighs. I also don't like poses where my belly is on the floor (upward facing dog, sphinx, cobra...
