4845170 tn?1369102292 I just started my third tri but since I found out I was pregnant I have done stretches as squats nearly every day, as the weather got warmer into my second I began to walk at least 3 times a week n started doing prenatal yoga for beginners but it makes me feel the best...I strongly suggest the yoga its great for repaxing n stretching and for a small amount of strengthening (if that's a word haha) I'm hoping all these things help when labor comes.
Avatar f tn I walk/jog, elliptical, prenatal yoga.
1253186 tn?1304783542 I"m not familiar with either of these programs, but I seem to remember one of our members has ordered the P90X, I think. I'm very sorry, but right off hand, I can't remember which one it was. Hopefully, she will see your post and answer or I will remember who it was and contact her for you....... Personally, I like yoga for toning and all around exercise. It works the entire body AND helps you relax. My favorite dvd is "Biggest Loser, Yoga for Weight Loss".
1430240 tn?1290434023 is this true? because i have that p90x disc set..and theres a yoga and pilates that i was going to do..
10256164 tn?1408981241 I'm not that far along yet but I usually do a hard work out such as insanity or p90x ect... are we allowed to still do these and just take it a bit easier?
Avatar f tn s prenatal yoga in YouTube. Its about half an hour video and she has simplified the asanas for pregnant women. I would recommend watching and doing one asana at a time so that you get the right muscles to work on. Don't forget to ask your doctor before starting and generally its a good idea to start and end the yoga with pranayam exercises like om-vilom, for warm up and cool down. Its not part of the video but you can find them too on you tube. all the best.
Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.
Avatar f tn I have been doing 7 miles a day on the stair stepper, but I am having trouble losing the weight. I plan on going back to bikram yoga in another 2 months when the twins are on solids and I can leave them for 2 hours at a time. My goal is to be back in a size 4 by September. What are you ladies doing to drop the weight? How is it going?
Avatar f tn Okay so I can't go to the gym. I get really bad anxiety, like I'll go to walk through the door and start crying. I've always been this way. I walk an hour a day but I'm trying to get in shape and loose 10lbs for vacation in August.
1416560 tn?1304876070 I recently got p90x. I am excited to use it! Has anyone else done it and how did you find it? What were your results?
1976294 tn?1326062080 i take a multivitamin everyday and am considered extremely healthy. So i was extremely startled when during the warm up for a cardio video i got a really bad deep chest pain directly in the middle of my chest. i couldn't finish the workout and couldn't breathe. I had to sit down and slowly breathe. After about 10 minutes the pain was completely gone. what happened?
Avatar f tn Does any know of a good yoga dvd or other prenatal workout video? I need to work at Zen. :) Plus I normally do a workout video & jog to stay in shape but after I found out I was prego I stopped cuz my last two pregnancies I miscarried. But I'm finding I need some kind of outlet for my witchyness so I need a low impact workout.
Avatar f tn Anyone doing prenatal yoga and can recommend a good video? Today YouTube didn't want to load and it was irritating me, so I wanted to see I'd anyonw knows of any good videos. Before I got pregnant I was weight lifting 3 times a week and running 3 times times a week due to a previous miscarriage I want to scale back my work outs till I know everything is ok.
Avatar f tn I was doing yoga 4-5 times a week before I found out I was expecting. Now I stretch a little, and do a 15 minute walk with my dog everyday, but that's it. I'm 9 weeks, when can I start doing more excersises and what is a good resource for good ones to do?
1654058 tn?1407159066 Ann, me too on the shot. I didn't pull back the first 2 and then watched a video n did this time. Cyn, I saw on the video that if you were taking a reduced Peg shot amount, your Dr. would tell you what to reduce it to. So, you're prolly taking the whole thing. Me too. I was going thigh and then last week heard that belly is better. I don't let go of the fat to inject. I can barely pinch an inch n don't wanna hit muscle or a vein. What a sweetie hubbie to give it to you. Aw.
Avatar f tn Pregnancy yoga. It is so calming and relaxing. You can take brisk walks, if you still feel like it. You can actually carry some like 2-3 pound weights while you walk. You can swim, which is great it promotes better blood flow and a few other things. The pregnant body doesn't feel very beautiful or sexy, trust me i know. Im almost 34 weeks and I've gained right at 50lbs. I was 120lbs pre-pregnancy and i had a perfect flat tummy.
Avatar f tn ) Its better motivation as well :)... there is also Yoga things to do on the Wii and things!!
Avatar f tn Ok I'm no expert of course lol but I did (an am still doing with my third baby) yoga, they make pregnancy videos of yoga that helped me out a lot!!!!
Avatar f tn Prenatal yoga can help a lot. Until you get to a class try some cat/cow, pigeon, and hamstring stretches. You can find lots of videos on YouTube demonstrating how to do them. I'm 22 weeks and still work out and do yoga. Have had plenty of symptoms but hardly any back pain.
Avatar f tn I did yoga but once your belly gets big you need to buy a prenatal yoga video that is for big bellies.
773214 tn?1295135069 I have Netflix and there was an prenatal yoga instant video that I did when I was feeling good. After I got over my sickness and before the back pain. I really liked it though and it feels really good to get all stretched and loose feeling.
