Hi, about 7 months ago I had unprotected once, which I ejaculated in the person. About 3 weeks later I got an cold sore on my mouth but I’ve been getting cold sores all my life so I didn’t think anything of it. Then about 2 weeks later I started to google symptoms of HIV & I started to get them. The symptoms were, 1. Night sweats 2. Mild Sore throat/ fever 3. Muscle aches 4. Diarrhea 5. Rash’s. But I never got flu like symptoms.
So my nail edges look yellow. I've heard that yellow nails can be indicative of health problems. I also have yellow toenails but I went to the dermatologist and she said I had a toenail fungus. I was prescribed terbinafine for my toenails and have been on it for a week. But she didn't really check my finger nails. My nails have been like that for a while though.

The doctor says my thyroid hormone levels fluctuates as do my symptoms. My fingernails are the worst and I am so very tired and weak. They are very soft and thin with ridges. I thought the synthyroid was supposed to help with these issues. Am I wrong and is something else going wrong

The nail polish thing is in case you have to have an emergency surgery (where they knock you out completely). They put an oxygen probe on your finger to monitor how much oxygen you're getting and the sensor can't read it accurately through fake nails or nail polish. Also your fingernails would turn blue if you're not getting enough oxygen, so they want to be able to see that.
I like to watch the ones that think they can make it and turn out to be funny, always found myself losing interest when it got serious though, I'd be interested in seeing what kind of presence Steven Tyler would be on there after seeing him on stage all these years, but w/out Paula and now Simon, I don't think it will have the same Hootspah!
It was the worst i have ever got,pus was coming out ,all the tissue was red and inflammed and it hurt like hell.Even if i touched my fingernail at the end(i have long fingernails) my finger was sensitive.So..today i noticed,i havent looked at my nail closely lately nor at a natural light , i saw that my nail suffered some yellow discoloration as if there was something underneath it.It is near the location where the pus was oozing and it looks like the nail is detaching from the nail bed.

I have suffered from a fungus attack on my fingernails for 5 months. It began with a rash in the palm of my hands. Within weeks, my fingernails showed spots at the base of the nails, and then rapidly became destroyed. I took Lamisel for 6 weeks, beginning in Nov/Dec. I've also been prescribed various topical anti-fungal creams (Clotrimazole and Betamethanose; and Ketoconazole), as well as an anti-fungal nail polish (Ciclopriox), and also a nail film (Umecta).
I guess with guilt from the handjob got me thinking when I was laying on my stomach so back facing her, when she started I felt small pokes but not major which probably was her fingernails? I read on 13 if indeed if was a needle it would be felt like deep sharp pain. Should I be be worried or get testing down now?
This sounds like a possible nutritional deficiency. Do you have ridges that run across your fingernails? In any case, mention this to your dr at your next visit because our hair and nails are a direct reflection of our nutrition status.
