it seems the least amount of sub for the shortest amount of time is the best way to go. I have heard from people who used it for about 10-15 days and it helped tremendously. Suboxone is a very strong and powerful partial opiate and is extremely addicting and difficult to kick (take it from me and many others).. however it can also be a very useful tool in detox.

Even the taste is unbearable now. Probably cause i anticipate the throwing up. It is horrible. Its turned into a nightmare I'm hoping that this week when i see the Dr. that he will switch me back onto the methadone I'm insisting on it. Not another day not another week....
I have been an opiate abuser for the past two years. at my high point last year i was doing up to 400 mg of oxycodone per day. i did detox and rehab and wasn't doing too bad til i started a new job that gave my access to narcotics approx 4 mo ago. i was clean for approx 2 months prior to that. over the past 4 months i have been taking anywhere from 6 to 18 perc per day. 2 days ago the only thing available was methadone, so i did 10mg in the am and 10mg in the evening.

but you have to find a doctor in your area that prescribes it. it is kind of costly and before you can start taking it you have to have a few days with no opiates in your system. when your on the suboxone you can NOT take any opiates with it or you will go into immediate withdraws. also they will not write you a prescription for it you will have to go to the clinic everyday to take it.

Late october I cut my finger with a knife but knife was not rusty, had been sitting in drawer for several months. Immediately applied alcohol and bandaged up, used neosporin and band-aid next day.
After much research, tears and soul searching it seems we have come up with a plan. It is obvious methadone is NOT the right path, so she has decided to begin detoxing over the weekend, she will attempt it at home and if that doesnt work she will look at IP detox as an alternative.

I am currently using Trazadone (prescibed by my doctor) as a sleep aid. My doctor had me on Ambien for a month or so and then he said that he does not like to prescribe Ambien for long periods of time, so he put me on 2 - 50mg tablets of Trazadone to take at bedtime. At first I thought what a waste, but it actually works for me and works well. Whether its addictive or not, I am not sure as I have not tried to stop using it, as I truly have problems falling asleep at night.

The only ever problems i have had down their was a urine infection which i took antibiotics for and being a little itchy after shaving. I recently went for my first pap smear and decided to get an std test done. All of a sudden i have become worried and have and an OCD with googling stds. I seen somewhere that you can get herpea on your feet? I dont know if this is true and i am worried.
