11119474 tn?1428702170 Hi everyone. I just picked up the MRI Images from my brain and cervical spine studies, in preparation of the MS Specialist appointment coming up in 3 weeks. I posted a few on my profile if anyone would like to take a peek, and tell me if they look typical of MS lesions. The radiologist says yes, but the general neuro won't call it. Thanks!
Avatar n tn I have a peculiar problem of being able to see after images for a little more time than normal.Due to which my eyes are not able to accommodate moving objects. Hence, I can see a series of bats when a cricket shot is played by a cricket batsman. Similarly If i move my hand or anything in my hand I can see the moving hand/object even after the hand/object has reached the new place and that moving hand/object merges with the hand/object at the new place in a second or two.
Avatar f tn Hi doctor I am 21 and am 3 months post partum , ever since I had my daughter I noticed ghost images in my right eye only . It's usually when I am sitting far away from my tv but when I get up close it is gone ! Do you know what could be causing this !? I am nearsighted and have been since I was younger but never really wore my glasses !
464075 tn?1281615436 Hey ladies! For anyone who wants to see, I posted pics of the 3D images of my little man that were taken this past week! It is so amazing to me how far technology has come. Although he would NOT cooperate, we were able to get a few good shots of his face. He so cute!(I know, I'm the momma) He kept putting his hands in his face and the umbilical cord was just everywhere. It was an amazing experience for dh and me though. I thought after seeing him we would come up with a name but....NOTHING.

1322693 tn?1308153896 I also have not had a CINE MRI but would like to know if possible blocked or comprimised cfs flow cam be seen on the regular MRI images. My cerebellum seems to be pressed against the back of my skull. Not sure if all the pain and pressure in my head and neck are caused by bad flow or none at all in some areas. I feel like banging my head against the wall on most days. My head is going to explode! At least that what it feels like. I feel like this is slowly killing me.
1264367 tn?1408104163 I have gastroparesis, and GERD, and am on methadone maintenance. I noticed I started having problems as soon as I started the Methadone Clinic, 3 yrs ago. I recently had an endoscopy and waiting on the biopsy results. I'm so sick of not being able to eat anything. I'm living off of oatmeal and can't over eat. But it's not over eating because I've been starving. I can only eat a small bowl of oatmeal before I take my methadone and then another small one for lunch.
2081753 tn?1334765685 Hi, What does a white spot (dot, speck) on a AX FRFSE T2 MRI image mean if the white spot is located inside of the spinal cord canal, not the spinal column canal. It's on about 8 images and is around the T5-T8 area and goes in and out (more visible, less visible) but is present still throughout those areas. Please help I was in a accident when I was 16 that brought this all on.
378497 tn?1232143585 m curious about what interpretations might be. I'm asking because I've gotten three different MD opinions in answer to that question. Thanks.
Avatar f tn Hello, would you mind looking at my MRI images posted on my profile page? I listed a short bit of info on some of my symptoms. I am just looking for help. THANKS!
Avatar f tn I had that happen (and still get those images occasionally). It's called intrusive thoughts. My psychiatrist told me that the fact that it upset me so much shows that I'm not a horrible person (my thoughts were just awful :( ). Do you see a psychiatrist? There are meds (even some they can put you on temporarily) that can help you get through this... sometimes they're caused by stress (or in my case, a bipolar mood disturbance). I know it's terrifying.
Avatar n tn I received my brain MRI images, can anyone help me read them? I'm so nervous waiting for the report. Thank you.
Avatar n tn You want to put the whole set of images online or only select images. MRI images come in a format called DICOM, you can find converters to take DICOM images to JPEG, you can also find javascript DICOM viewers. It all depends on what you are trying to do. Can you be more specific.

Avatar f tn Magnetic resonance imaging was performed with sagittal and coronal T1-weighted images, diffusion weighted axial images, gradient echo acial images, FLAIR axial images and fast spin-echo T2-weighted axial images on a 1.5 Yesla MR unit. There is a punctate hyperintensity on FLAIR and T2-weighted images in the right posterior frontal corona radiata white matter, and several additional punctate hyperintensities in the left parietal subcortical white matter.
Avatar f tn In fact, one study found that using a combination of axial images, multiplanar reconstructions, and 3D volume-rendered reformats was more accurate than using either axial images alone or axial images with multiplanar reconstructions. Evaluation of all three sets of images yielded a sensitivity of 95.8% and specificity of 99% for maxillofacial fractures. Source: https://radiologykey.
