Business woman2 25, 37.5, 50, 75, and 100. Also, the extended release forms of Venlafaxine capsules come in many strengths too: 37.5, 75, and 150. Most of the tablet forms will contain Lactose and Gluten. Some of the extended release capsules do not contain neither Gluten nor Lactose. It will help me very much, if I know the dosage form and strength. We might be able to find you a supplier that do not use Lactose and Gluten in its Venlafaxine. Thanks and be well.
Avatar f tn Effexor (venlafaxine) is used to treat depression. Venlafaxine extended-release (long-acting) capsules are also used to treat generalized anxiety disorder (GAD; excessive worrying that is difficult to control), social anxiety disorder (extreme fear of interacting with others or performing in front of others that interferes with normal life), and panic disorder (sudden, unexpected attacks of extreme fear and worry about these attacks).
469210 tn?1219188128 But I will say Tramadol and Ultram (Tramadol extended release) have been the greatest things since sliced bread... I just started taking them about 2 weeks ago - and they totally work on me... To the point I'm working without any problems --- I'm out playing badminton... I'm fishing for trout --- and doing things I haven't been able to do for the past 2 years. I've even lost weight in 2 weeks!!! Woohooo --- couch potato reform school! I dunno about the combo part tho...

Avatar f tn Subsequently, the physician may continue decreasing the dose but at a more gradual rate. In clinical trials with venlafaxine hydrochloride extended-release capsules, tapering was achieved by reducing the daily dose by 75 mg at 1 week intervals. Individualization of tapering may be necessary.
1378325 tn?1285346625 This is the cost for a 90 day supply of the extended release capsules, the non-extended release pills are $55 for 90 days compared to the $210 for the extended release. My cost for the brand Effexor was $130 for 90 days. I even talked to a supervisor at Express Scripts and she said it was because it isn't classified as a Tier drug, as in 1-2-or 3 yet.
Avatar m tn i'm posting a question asking for your medical advice as i've suffered from long term depression since i was 18 as i'm now 38 going through various medication regimes throughout that time. I've previously been on mostly SSRI's ie prozac and seroxat, with in addition dosuphin and amtitrypline. Prozac and seroxat worked well with me for some time until they "pooped out" on me.
Avatar f tn actually it is oxycodone that is the main ingredient... oxycontin is a brand name, means oxycodone continuous release (i think). oxycontin is usually higer mg of the oxycodone because it has the extended release which is why addicts usually crush & snort or chew them to bypass that. it is true that percocet has more apap than the oxycontin or roxicodone but as far as the main ingredient 6 perc 5's are the same as a roxi 30 or 4 perc 10's are the same as an oxy 40.
1056851 tn?1318720978 Thanks ...it's weird i know it's extended release...but i can almost feel it kick in. I am dx with ms however i am sure i have other issues with anxiety and stress ...i spent 15years with a very abusive man in a drug manipulated relationship if that makes any sense to anyone....
981443 tn?1250115802 Some resources assert that 2, 12 and/or 15 mg IR tablets and 25, 36 and 50 mg extended release tablets will be introduced although apparently the timeline on that is not known to the public at this time. Opana Extended-Release tablets are based on the TIMERx system developed by a consortium led by Endo and Penwest.
1270834 tn?1270769758 I panicked and was sure it was a worm of some sort. Thank goodness for the internet. My mind is at ease with the Extended Release Venlafaxine. I love the Internet.
Avatar f tn If one never had swollen gums after taking Diltiazem Hydrochloride Extended-release Capsules USP for years and then suddenly has swollen gums (no redness or infection) could the Diltiazem suddenly cause this after getting a "deep cleaning" of the teeth, or 'probing for pocket depths' at a dentist?
725248 tn?1316162245 Have you tried the extended release formula for Dilaudid? A new extended release formulation (OROS®) of Hydromorphone is available and I believe it is more afforable than the Fentanyl. Here is link about the medication... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2697506/ I wish you the best of luck. With today's economy we have to get what we can afford.
Avatar m tn Hi there, been going through various medication regimes now for the last 3 years after me depression 'insidiously' crept up on me to the extent that all the nicer part of me was gone and that was just getting by, carefully avoiding being 'out in the open' and retreating into myself.
Avatar f tn Has anyone tried the extended releExtended release Xanaxase Xanax? I know it has been on the market for a bit but I haven't heard any feedback.
Avatar f tn Has anyone tried extended release Topamax or Topiramate? It is called Trokedi XR. I am going to try it because my memory is so bad on Topamax. My neurologist said it might be better with Trokedi XR but it is very expensive. So if you can tell me before I buy it I would appreciate any feedback.
Avatar n tn Hi kimmy. I had a hysterectomy 4 months ago and I understand what you are going through. I immediately start having hot flashes and night sweats and it was absolutly horrible. I spoke with my doctor and he put me on Venlafaxine HCL ER TSBS he said to make sure they don't give me the generic because if it is not the Venlafaxine HCL ER (extended release) it will make me sick ( throw up). I have been on it for two weeks now and it really works for me.
603543 tn?1255294450 Good Afternoon, It is worth noting that Wyeth Pharmaceuticals currently has a patent for Effexor XR. While there is a generic extended release version of venlafaxine available, it is not exactly the same as the brand name (Because of the patent). The headaches you are experiencing may be caused by some of the inert ingredients in the generic brand. Knowing this, I would take the samples back to your Dr. and continue using the brand name since you already know it works for you.
Avatar n tn According to the manufacturer or Effexor® (venlafaxine hydrochloride), drinking alcohol while using Effexor is not recommended since they both work on the same part of the brain. Alcohol negates Effexor.
Avatar n tn WELLBUTRIN (bupropion hydrochloride), an antidepressant of the aminoketone class, is chemically unrelated to tricyclic, tetracyclic, selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor, or other known antidepressant agents. PRISTIQ is an extended-release tablet for oral administration that contains desvenlafaxine succinate, a structurally novel SNRI for the treatment of MDD. Pristiq is an SNRI while Wellbutrin is not. Abilify is not in either class, it is totally different.
20803283 tn?1513893720 I started taking just two a day, but quickly needed 3 then 4 then 5 now 7-8 120mg extended release capsules per day. Am I in danger?
