What I would be worried about is stroke. Can she talk normally? Is she confused? If you ask her to repeat a sentence does she slur her words or does it sound normal? Does she have a bad headache? Can she lift the arm that is numb? If she can't talk normally or can't lift her arm and so forth then she may be having a stroke and you have to take her into the Emergency Room right away. Diabetes can increase her risk for a stroke as well and also peripheral neuropathy or nerve damage.
My baby had a stroke prior to or at birth that affected her right frontal lobe and right temportal lobe. At 6 months, she appears to have no outward signs of the stroke. From what I've read, some of the damage of the stroke may not be seen until later.

If your cycles are short by a couple of days, it would be around day 12 of your cycle or if it is long say 30 days long, it would be around day 16. Around cycle day (CD) 8 or 9, I start watching for signs. You can use ovulation predictor kits or watch your cervical mucus (CM) which will get sticky and clear like egg whites just before ovulation. I also check my cervix which sounds weird but is a great indicator if you check it every month and know how your cervix works.

My 86 year old mother just came out of the hospital on Friday after being in for ten days due to a "mini-stroke" (TIA). It was the fifth one she has had since suffering a major stroke in 2007. My husband recently passed away from a hemorrhagic stroke. The doctor said hypertension was the cause. There seemed to be no warning signs except on the day it happened. I've had an intermittent tingling in my ear and on my face for several days. It lasts 20-30 seconds though it sometimes turns to mild pain and also sometimes includes my jaw and cheekbone. It's mostly on the right side of my face, though I've felt some on the left side as well. I've seen two doctors who couldn't identify it. I have no other symptoms. I didn't know anything about strokes before I had mine, two years ago at just past my 51st birthday! I always thought that only old people had strokes and certainly the NHS locally is set up for the over 65's, there's no information available for younger people who've had strokes.
I'd like to see a big publicity campaign on TV advising people what the general symptoms of stroke are and what you should do about it.

the only way that could indicate higher risk of stroke is that it was caused by a vascular problem, but you should have a bit more going on I guess. it also depends on your age.
maybe it was caused by sudden sun exposure.

00 PM and it came back clear. Hestarted feeling better until 9:00 PM when his right arm started going numb and the tingling in his right foot came back and his speach became slurred. The ER continued to watch him and and at 5:00 AM the next morning decided to transfer him to a large hospital in Kansas City. The medical team in KC ran tests and scheduled an MRI. At 6:30 PM they cnducted the MRI.
If you think there is a possibility that you have an STI, then you get to the doc ASAP. Women often don't show signs of having chlamydia (beg ure pardon if u arent a woman) but if you feel something isn't right-no matter what it is-get to the doc and don't chance your health. Whatever damage is done to your body, with an STI, can not be reversed. All the more reason to go because you don't want it there another day wreaking havoc.
