i was tested non reactive in my 4th months last september with kit called SD Bioline ,is this an antiody test and is conclusive?... the itchy red spot rashes and some tinybump (skincolor) in my arm and lower and legs was keeps appearing... it comes and goes... i notice having this unnoticeable swollen node in my neck today ... i was worried that may be im hiv infected... beside this its cold here so i having colds.... i always feels sleepy...
When would you advise me to use the second test kit? I will test again at 3 months regardless for a definitive result, but I would love to have some result sooner than that. I will also test for other STI's at 3 months, but they don't seem very important right now.

Yesterday I felt like I want to Test myself for HIV, so I went and got me this oraquick hiv test kit. When I got in the car, I was already turn like a dead vampire, while sweating as anxiety had already destroyed my heart (beat rate about 120). So it took me 30 min just to open the kit because my hands were vibrating so I finally began the test procedure.
I got the swab then swipe twice on bottom and twice on top. But the kit recommends only to swipe once on each side.
You sound like you suffer significant anxiety. Who keeps an hiv test kit with them and keeps looking at it? If you actually did have an exposure which I only question because you are afraid of blood in an hiv testing kit and didn't write to us about an unprotected sex exposure (or did you?). Of course there isn't blood on the kit. You don't get hiv from a test kit. You don't get it from touching blood.
To remove doubts, not that I have many left, I have ordered a testing kit. According to the information around this kit it is based on a urine sample which you send away. It is meant to be accurate if you have symptoms. This is day 7 after oral sex given to me, I am male and I sure have symptoms.
The kit arrives tomorrow.
Are these kits accurate, or do I need to see a doctor too to confirm?

Are the current rapid test kit available in the market today and usa fda approved (i.e. abbott determine hiv 1/2) will able to detect anti-bodies even in such rare cases hiv type Group N? I raised this question because on inverness medical website abbott determine hiv 1/2 does not indicate their that it also covers HIV GROUP N.

Hi, I did a self test using rapid home test kit for hiv 1 & 2 after 3 months of last sexual encounter with a csw. It tested negative. Is this result conclusive? & how reliable are the rapid test kits?
There only one FDA approved collection kit, it's home access.
but what i think is that the blood dry and because after the reaction is done i started to drop 2,3 more drop from that hiv drop that comes with the kit before i through it to the garbage . anyhow i re do this test with new kit and came back negative . now every time i think of that test i did before i start being stress , idk why can anyhow help me and tell me why. and i had no symptoms ever thanks god .

I have been experiencing headaches,dizziness,fatigue and nausea with vomiting at times. Although I have taken at home pregnancy test and both came back negative is it possible that I could still be pregnant? Oh yeah I am trying VERY hard to get pregnant.
Week 8 - rapid hiv1/2 home test kit by icare (both showed negative)
Week 8.5 - hiv 1/2 ag/bg test (negative)(1 week+ after mild fever and fatigue)
Week 11.5- icare hiv 1/2 home test kit (negative) after swollen tonsil before rash)

its been two years since i had sex with her and one year after we broke up. i had no symptoms no rash, no swollen, no fever, but recently ive had headach and diarrea .. i got really worried but did a search on stress headach .. and the symptoms seem to be that.
I am living in south east asia (Philippines) I tested nonreactive at 6 weeks(Jan 3, 2018), 9 weeks(January 25, 2018) and 12 weeks(February 15,2018) (ALL IMMUNOCHROMATOGRAPHY TEST). All the kits they use me is RightSign Hiv 1/2, is that kit reliable? it can detect all strains of HIV? I been tested at diagnostic lab here in the philippines. I been dealing with extreme stress and anxiety for the past 3 months, I promise myself I will not do it again.
Also, do not test with fmu! Test between 10am and 8pm. Or twice a day.
I just recieved my kit today and was wondering which testing I needed to select. This is the very first Lyme testing I am having done. Do I just selsct the complete Lyme Panel or specific tests. Each test is rather expensive and I'm not sure I will get any insurance coverage so I wanted to be selective. Thanks for the input!
is the home access test kit reliable? my ex-boyfriend lied to me and told me he was a virgin and i trusted him. we had sex without a condom because i was on the pill and now i'm freaking out. i need to test for peace of mind, i make myself sick thinking about it everyday. is the home access test reliable after 6 months? is it ok to order it from amazon? i still live with my parents and i don't want them to find out i'm testing for HIV.
