I went to a doctor and was ordered a complete blood test, liver function test and lipid tests. Everything was normal except for Bilirubin which was 1.6 (normal 0.3 - 1.2) and cholestral which was 220 (LDL - 170). I was said that it is normal for some people to have moderately high bilirubin since the other tests were in normal range. Can somebody help me with what might be the cause for my dark yellow urine?

Been on Zedox for a week and any drug transition is hard. I find my self weepy very un focused, depressed, agitated. i hate this I know I have to give it more time to kick in, but the worry is always How long? My husband says to ride it out the 3 weeks. Similar to Ram, my husband didn't get HBV after us being together for 4-5 years. He now has had the vaccination series and is protected. My children also do not have HBV. Those that are HbeAg negative with lower viral load are less infectious than someone that is HBeAg positive with high viral load. Like Ram said, take vaccination series and then after complete test antibody titers, since you want to be sure you respond to vaccine to ensure protection.
So I have gestational diabetes and it gets pretty bad sometimes and I'm already on medicine for it.. well I'm supposed to keep track of my blood sugar four time a day and I haven't been able to since last Friday which is not good... I haven't been able to because I ran out of test strips for my blood sugar meter and I am absolutely broke and have no way to get any so I have no clue when the next time I can test my blood sugar will be.
If I saw a similar patient in the office, I would do an interview, physical exam, EKG and then probably a stress test and echocardiogram. If all tests came back normal, I would encourage to continue to exercise and take the stairs. Normal heart VT is not dangerous and exercise is a good thing.
Sure, if you can work in the elevator phobia that is a good idea because I am sure there are times when you can't walk the stairs in other buildings.
Hi. Did not have hair loss due to treatment, but did have it after a hospitalization for infection. It was not caused by the infection but the STRESS of it did. Started to come out in the handfuls 2 months later. Must say tho it did grow back with tons of body and looked better then before. Stress or thyroid could be to blame. Don't worry tho as it does come back..
Ok I'm 19 , an ftm pregnant with a little girl .. I'm very small framed .. Before bein pregnant I was 5 foot 6 110 lbs now I'm 32 weeks tomorrow & I'm only 121 lbs but her kicks are killing me .. I'll feel them in my ribs & pelvis all at once .. My ribs on the right are so sore if they're touched or I bend the wrong way .. It ***** so bad .. Anything I can do to ease the pain ?
I can produce a numbert of different opinions what is the appropriate heart rate and so on with exercising. The best method for someone with a heart issue is to have a stress test. A stress test is oftened done for the purpose of learning the degree of tolerance/risk one can safely do. The rule of thumb stated is not recommended for someone who has heart issues. You will be safe to engage in exercising according to METs.
and one other thing if there was something wrong with my heart would it have shown during the stress test?
thankyou for responding, yes had the test reached my target heart rate , but didnt feel like i had exerted myself enough to give my heart a real test, thankfully nothing showed, but wish i had some answers to the chest pain that goes down my left arm, and cardioligist says its nothing, well its not nothing its very disturbing actually
put me on lipitor as bad cholestrol is 7

My doctor has ordered a non stress test for me if I go over my due date. I think they just want to make sure that the baby is doing well because the placenta starts to age at the end of pregnancy so they monitor the baby's heart rate for a bit to make sure the baby is getting enough nutrients and oxygen, I think it's routine.
