Avatar n tn I went to a doctor and was ordered a complete blood test, liver function test and lipid tests. Everything was normal except for Bilirubin which was 1.6 (normal 0.3 - 1.2) and cholestral which was 220 (LDL - 170). I was said that it is normal for some people to have moderately high bilirubin since the other tests were in normal range. Can somebody help me with what might be the cause for my dark yellow urine?

Avatar m tn Is your good eye 20/15 without glasses? And your refraction in the left eye? Also, get a PAM or RAM test to see if the retina will see better than 20/40. If it gets to 20/25 or better consider removal of the cataract. Dr. O.
Avatar n tn Whats the best way to deal with stress for pregnant women? As Im 13 weeks +5 days and Im already dealing with complications in my pregnancy and cant be dealing with lots of stress right now...any suggestions?
Avatar m tn Ram, please do not worry about your life expectancy. You could walk out on the street tomorrow and be hit by a bus! But I will quote my old GI doctor "I've seen some people live up to late 70s with this disease and the disease is not what kills them, it's usually something else". And my favorite from him was "I've never put a patient in the grave because of Hepatitis B and I never plan to do so either!" Relax, take it easy.
Avatar f tn Similar to Ram, my husband didn't get HBV after us being together for 4-5 years. He now has had the vaccination series and is protected. My children also do not have HBV. Those that are HbeAg negative with lower viral load are less infectious than someone that is HBeAg positive with high viral load. Like Ram said, take vaccination series and then after complete test antibody titers, since you want to be sure you respond to vaccine to ensure protection.
Avatar m tn I then had an echo done and it was discovered that I had mitral valve prolapse, but normal blood flow. A stress test was ordered (abnormal) and then a nuclear stress was ordered (also abnormal) and there was evidence of a "mild to moderate" blockage. My doctor recommended that I have an angiogram done. Here's what I'm struggling with.
4268628 tn?1375041176 So I am 17 weeks now and feeling g physically ill due to stress. Any ideas for stress relief? Most of my go to activities aren't working. Between a creep video taping my daughter (who's 2) while at my in laws and my fil telling me I'm blowing things out of proportion, my husband reverting to whatever his dad says is law, and being the mean evil board member Sharing with 50 members their dues are increasing 3Xs what they're used to.....I'm sick and cramping.

Avatar f tn So I have gestational diabetes and it gets pretty bad sometimes and I'm already on medicine for it.. well I'm supposed to keep track of my blood sugar four time a day and I haven't been able to since last Friday which is not good... I haven't been able to because I ran out of test strips for my blood sugar meter and I am absolutely broke and have no way to get any so I have no clue when the next time I can test my blood sugar will be.
Avatar f tn I also like to play video games on the xbox or if my bf is home I love watching him play so I can tell him go here or over there, lol!!! Also if you like/love your MIL like I think you do since how you seem to be reacting to the news you should spend as much time with her as possible! Also maybe ask her to make a video for her unborn grandbaby so that your daughter has a little piece of grandma. I hope this help!!!
Avatar n tn If I saw a similar patient in the office, I would do an interview, physical exam, EKG and then probably a stress test and echocardiogram. If all tests came back normal, I would encourage to continue to exercise and take the stairs. Normal heart VT is not dangerous and exercise is a good thing. Sure, if you can work in the elevator phobia that is a good idea because I am sure there are times when you can't walk the stairs in other buildings.
Avatar f tn I just thought Id start a thread and invite everyone to add their own favorite video links to songs that help them relieve stress and or make them feel good. The song I want to share is a family favorite here in our household for 'BAD' days when the world just seems crazy and you feel like your about to snap..... the kids and I sing it LOUDLY (we are normally easy listening type people but this is HEAVY metal) called 'Let the bodies hit the floor" by drowning pool.
Avatar f tn Hi. Did not have hair loss due to treatment, but did have it after a hospitalization for infection. It was not caused by the infection but the STRESS of it did. Started to come out in the handfuls 2 months later. Must say tho it did grow back with tons of body and looked better then before. Stress or thyroid could be to blame. Don't worry tho as it does come back..
Avatar m tn You will need tests for hepatitis B surface antibody and hepatitis B core antibody. All three test results are needed in order to make a clear diagnosis. Results of the tests are typically evaluated together. People who are chronically infected and have persistently elevated SGPT which is a marker of liver damage, and HBV DNA levels may need antiviral therapy. Treatment is given for 6 months to 1 year depending on the medication and genotype. Consult a hepatologist.
Avatar f tn Most probably you are Hep B negarive. Check antibodies. Take vaccination if required.

About an hour ago I felt dizzy out of nowhere, I was just sitting down and I felt dizzy for maybe a few seconds but I didn't have time to react! Haha then a few minutes after that I felt like I was going to start panicking. I was working on a slideshow video for my sister inlaws boyfriend who just passed away. I wasn't feeling anxious until I felt dizzy now I feel a bit nauseous. My vision feels so weird!
