I am a 25 year old female. I have never smoked. I drink maybe 3 times a year. I have been having chest pains over the past couple of hours. It has been a steady pain....(7-7.5 on a scale of 1-10)... I've had a little bit of pain in my shoulder as well...What could be causing this? I am 5'8" and I weigh 260. I do have high blood pressure and asthma, (i take Lisinopril and Albuterol for those).
She had me just stop propranolol and start metoprolol, been experiencing shakiness, occassional pvcs, headache, nausea, pulse still 45 - low 60s at rest and with exertion 70-90. Should she have tapered propranolol or will the metoprolol block the more serious withdrawal symptoms ie: HTN, chest pain ect.
I laid down on the floor and my head started to ache and the pain spread up into my chest and neck. It felt like I was paralyzed from my chest to my jaw and I could barely talk. I started shaking and my vision was blurry. My husband called an ambulance and they took me to the hospital. By the time I got there I started to feel better and my heart rhythm was better but I felt terrible.
hi i suffer from anxiety and gastric and for the past few days ive been getting a sharp rush up my chest ive been to the hospital about it and my gp and they tell me its just anxiety but i get it throught my chest it just comes now and then and realy doe scare me its like a little rush up my chest that comes now and then
ok so the past few weeks ive been having extreme anxiety, tingling in fingers, arm pain, back and chest pain on and off (pressure, sharp pains, anything you can think of i've felt it), panic attacks. saw a cardiologist on tuesday, said i had a normal echo. last year and nothing would drastically change within a year, and normal ekgs and holter monitor recently. he also prescribed me propranolol , which i'm terrified to take because it drops BP and your heart rate.

I had my first migraine when I was 12 and they became chronic and literally everyday after two car accidents. (Rear end and head on). I am soon going to b getting my nerves on my c3-6 burned to help with the headaches and neck pain. I'm only 23 yrs old. I had to quit my career (cosmetologist) I loved it and right before my migrianes randomly became daily I had an offer to become a redken color artist and do hair in big time hair shows up on stage with many famous hairstylist.
I went to the doc today again as I have been ignoring it since last many years,Stress test ,ECG and 2D ECO was done all are normal doc say its normal and could be some muscular pain,muscular pain wont last for years and show symptoms of angina.I also feel drowsy and lethargic even after a good sleep
How severe is this? I read about nitroglycerin and Propranolol Hydrochloride would you recommend it?
Mostly extreme fatigue, insomnia but can stay in bed all day long, headache, anxiety who is worse than before, legs pain and muscles pain all over my body, chest pain, back pain, eyes pain. I'm so weak that just taking a shower is the best I can do in 1 day!
I will see my Cardio Doc soon and will ask to try something else.
i had t o discontinue because i was feeling funny with headaches,pumping heart pain in lower chest and dizziness and faintness. So i discontinued and was ok for some time unless if i got hungry. Now i have pressure in the head and upper throat ans if i have got flu and tightness in the collarbone on my left side .
I have a history of migraines for about twenty years. I quit smoking 7 months ago, and started propranolol 20 mg once a day. I gained 30 pounds. My whole body is sore and Im having episodes where my upper body and sometimes legs just feel so heavy and tired I feel like Im going to pass out. Had a Head CT, Head and Neck CTA, CBC, EKG all were normal. Is it related to migraine? ER doctor said it is anxiety. Oh I stopped celexa five months ago because I was extremely fatigued.

t really changed, im eating more fruit and veg, and wholemeal bread and pasta products and my frequency hasnt changed (1-2 times a day).
I have also has some milk incontinence (a strange discharge, not liquid faeces).
finally ive also had some mild lower left back pain.
I dont smoke and am physically active and otherwise in good health with no worries.
Could this be colon cancer?

I have been given propranolol to take as I have had continuous palpitations since monday and my heartrate has randomly shooting up in the 100's (not related to posture!!) These will also help with my bp, it has been creeping up.
I have had these in the past but was more recently on bisoprolol. Which is more common for POTS symptoms?
I was in A&E last night and back at my GP's this morning. I have been refered back to the cardiologist who is going to see me in november.
t felt severe chest pain, but whenever I roll on my side or move my shoulders much or just stand on my feet for a minute or so, I might get dizzy and feel moderate chest pain. Today, after two weeks, I had another orgasm, and again, the moment I moved after that, I felt like my chest is being pressed down. I still feel pain as I am typing this, my pulse points hurt too. The pain lingers for days. It's mild but worrying.
But, the heavy panting, has been recurring more often, accompanied with palpitation, but no shortness if breath and no chest pain or coughing.

I took her to the medic today, he ordered some blood tests and a cardiac echography in the next couple of days.
Practically, she is under a lot of family stress too.
And her condition is not critical, but it gets me worried.
I have had a high resting heart rate (100-130s) since July, and I finally decided to go ahead and try a beta blocker to help lower my heart rate and reduce the chest pain. I have normal-low blood pressure, so I know I'll have to keep an eye on that and any side effects. I don't remember which one my doctor said he was going to call in (I think it's propranolol), but I was just wondering if there is a beta blocker that works best... or do they all pretty much work the same?
I've been taking Propranolol for high blood pressure and tachycardia(10mg at 8am, 2pm, and 8pm) for about 18 days now, and four days ago I woke up feeling quite dizzy. Since then it seemed to get better, but now I feel lethargic, dizzy, and generally unwell. Is it my drug?

I take propranolol occassionally prior to speaking engagements. The last few times I've taken it I've experienced an mild ache in the chest, and just last week a stinging sensation. I'm scheduled for back surgery in 6 hours. Is this something I should be concerned about?
I was feeling cold even when I put a sweatshirt on. My chest was tight and I had uncontrollable shaking. I also had slight pains in my arm. So I ended up calling 911 and the paramedics said I was fine and that it was just the THC causing a reaction in my body. So I decided from there that I would try a different type of marijuana that was meant to relax me.
