Avatar f tn It's all in the mind and how you see yourself. If you think of yourself as an alluring sexual being, you project that... and, people pick up on that. If you walk around thinking of yourself as a frump... what do you suppose people see? ... a frump. Are men "settling?" Life is full of compromise and cutting deals... we try to do the best that we can. Sometimes, we simply get whatever we can get. One may call it "settling." I call it "blissful resignation.
Avatar m tn I have been in the same boat as everyone on this forum with gastro problems, so I speak from experience. I never suggested you take your health into a store clerks hands, your health should be in your hands making an informed decision about everything you do. I suggest to everyone what has worked for me. Whether you decide to try it is up to you, but name calling isn't necessary. I am far from being a quack as you suggested, just someone who doesn't suffer from acid reflux anymore.
Avatar n tn URL: http://www.Penis-Enlargement-Now.com/ Email: ***@**** First off, we would like to say that you are reading a very powerful manual. A manual that holds all the information that you could ever need to permanately increase the size of your penis, increase the hardness of your erections, actually help prevent prostate cancer, and increase the level of your ejaculation as well as the flavor of your ejaculate.
Avatar n tn Since water makes up a good portion of our body and fills out our skin, I'm wondering if this why your skin has suddenly become so drawn? Try keeping yourself very well hydrated (not overly as that can create some really bad problems in and of itself...perhaps, 8 oz per hour for a bit). Perhaps, something with electolytes in it like a sports drink (NO cafeine). Gatoraide or one of those might work. Don't overdo those either. One or two per day and lots of water.
Avatar n tn I take metformin for diabetes and in 2 months of taken it i have lost 30 pounds. Which was a great thing. But i also have cut back on what i eat. And i no longer am addicted to Dr.Peppers..lol..So weather it's the meds or my cuting back i'm not sure, but i have lost the wieght.
Avatar m tn Allergies make your secretions sticky, and people over forty have stickier secretions. That’s why Old Men have a stereotype of being phlegmy. Hypertonic solutions thin the sticky secretions and make them easier to wash out of your sinuses. Hypertonic solutions shrink swollen tissues by drawing out the excess moisture. When the swollen tissues shrink, the openings of the sinuses (the ostia) get bigger, and all the infected pus and snot can drain better.

Avatar f tn My chest is still having that squeezing sensation and I just woke up and had nothing to eat yet. Yesterday at the health food store one of the employees recommended DGL licorice chewables so I started that yesterday too. No difference yet but I'll continue this for a while as long as there are no adverse side effects. I went in there to try slippery elm but she told me this might help more and the slippery elm tincture I wanted to purchase had alcohol in it that might irritate my esophagus.
Avatar n tn Good Luck with your fresh start! Look forward to hearing from you!
Avatar n tn Who, after quitting the disgusting habit of smoking for the past 45 years, quit 10 years ago and I continue to eat, eat, eat and gain weight. I have thought about starting the bad habit of smoking again, but am now reading a lot about Topamax for weight loss. My husband developed migraine headaches after a sever stroke about 5 years ago. He went thru all the depakote, etc. for depression, and then in early 2005 had another stroke. He was then started on Topamax.
Avatar n tn Its been years and years, i cant even remember the last time actually, since ive taken a bath, so ive never tried that, but a hot shower doesnt seem to do the trick. I will look into getting a urine analysis done. This is wearing very thin on me.
Avatar n tn if you feel confident and sexy with yourself and eager to show him, he will think its sexy no matter what it looks like. your're fine.
Avatar n tn I am taking a probiotic and Colloidal Silver to see if it will help. Both of these items can be purchased through a health food store. I've been taking it now for about two weeks. My symptoms are slowly getting better but still feels uncomfortable. I'm wondering if my partner needs to be treated, could he be a carrier of this??
Avatar n tn It is NOT a mental thing and it is NOT an eating disorder. I too am thin, though eat very heartily and healthfully and all the GYN's brush it off as my being too bony. I know that there are worse things to have and I am blessed and grateful for what I have. I'm still going to fantasize that there's a way to fix it somewhere, somehow and that someday i'll have enough money to do so. For the guys, thanks for speaking up- I now feel the courage to talk to my bf bout it.
Avatar n tn I've always had it in my legs, why not in my brain? Maybe that was causing the dizziness? So I went to umpteen health stores and spent hundreds of dollars on blood circulating supplements that didn't help. I've cried every day, I've quit my job, I've lost some friends, and I've come close to dropping out of high school during my senior year. But thanks to this blog, I have been given more hope.

Avatar n tn I am not saying that my methods will work for everyone, but I think the overall tone may help… take care of yourself, be kind to yourself, especially in your most anxious or saddened state. Remind yourself of all the wonderful and good things that encompass who you are. I believe, with all my heart, that if you do these simple, yet very hard tasks, then you might be able to become more of an observer of yourself and of your swings (waves).
Avatar f tn I just read your thread on the social side, that YOU are only 32 days clean yourself. You not revealing on your post here that you are an addict yourself sort of seems odd to me (with all due respect). You presented yourself here are strictly a loved on of an addict, and miller is really looking to those kind of people for advice. It changes the situation considerably, IMO, that you are an addict yourself.
Avatar n tn It is a warm, sort of tingly sensation that lasts 5 seconds and occurs, I don't know, 10 times throughout the day. I wonder if I slept on the leg funny?? Stress?? I am 43 and in reasonably good health but seem to be a hypochondriac (spelling?) at times. I doubt this is related, but I have some sort of muscle strain in my hip/groin area that is possible due to an intense backpacking trip in October. Any feedback appreciated. Guess I could consult dr. after Xmas if still going on . . .
Avatar n tn Pmaule, I have the exact same condition that you have. Until now I thought I might be the only person with this problem because I couldn't find information diagnosing my symptoms. I'm 21 and about 3 months ago I noticed the change. Probably was happening gradually over a few weeks until I finally noticed. Like you, I no longer have morning wood. I have some libido, but not nearly as much as before the problem.
Avatar n tn I also get PVC's after I eat. I have been watching what I eat lately and tried to eat foods that don't have MSG. That has helped a lot. The additives that are being pumped into our food is killing us.
Avatar m tn I don't lose length so much as width, it becomes very thin and hard, looks ridiculous. Some days it's fine I get a nice loose hang. But often it's tight and small. It's clear the problem is there's no bloodflow, but the question is why. I have noticed there seems to be two thing going on, not only does the internal penis shrink but the skin sometimes tightens up and I also get a sort of restriction just below the gland where it becomes even thinner.
288415 tn?1231634102 I am having a hard time stopping eating and still I eat the problem foods (like chocolate, fatty foods, etc), but I have some food issues to deal with. Please let me know if trying this helps you.
Avatar n tn Do yourself a favor and eat toxin free. Best of luck to you all.
Avatar n tn It's a pain to do this (I keep meaning to, but haven't yet). You have to keep a diary of everything you eat and how you feel each day. Then eat very bland food for, say a month. Next introduce whatever you want to test for. If it brings on the symptoms, you've probably found the cause. If not, add something else into your diet to test for that. But also, if you haven't already, do get some medical advice to rule out the nasties.
Avatar n tn Never as bad as the first time, but it still scares me. Sometimes when I feel fine and I eat something spicy my throat will immediatly close and I get the same problem but it goes away. Sometimes I'll just get this dry feeling out of the blue and start coughing and my throat closes for a few seconds. I've learned to control it so I don't almost pass out anymore. I think the problem is my tonscils, they just feel too big and it's hard to swallow.
Avatar n tn It's frightening how virtually EVERY time someone sees a Neurologist they are signing up for HUGE medical bills for MRI, CT scans and the rest. If you are like me and experience many of the symptoms presented here - consider first the likelihood of Shingles (Herpes Zoster). It's a virus commonly derived from having the Chickenpox as a kid.
1187071 tn?1279373298 I have to get my blood tested once a week to see how thin my blood is. She said it will take atleast 6 months for the blood clot to go away. Has anyone had a blood clot in the leg and how long does the pain last? Or if you know someone who has had to deal with it. I am back to work but it is really hard to stand on my leg but I deal with it. I really hate all this added pain to my body, I am on the patch but it don't seem to help much. Heat does help at night.
